Angelina Jolie’s ‘amazing’ year

Angelina Jolie has opened up about her "amazing" year.
The 'Maleficent' star has revealed that her personal and professional achievements this year have made it one she won't forget.
She gushed: "It's been an amazing year. I married my love, my son [Maddox] became a teenager, and I got to bring ['Unbroken'] to the world."
The 39-year-old actress-turned-director also explained how much she loves to spend time on set and work with her husband, Brad Pitt.
She said: "Brad is wonderful to work with."
Speaking about her new film 'By The Sea', she added: "It's another little independent film, a very heavy movie about marriage and life. But it was nice for us just to be actors together and work hard and really push ourselves."
Angelina also shared that she's keen to make a complete move over to working behind the camera and directing full-time.
She said: "I would be happy when [acting] is over.
"If I am lucky enough to have a career as a director, it would be a very nice transition. And then, when I can, Brad and I can work together."
Meanwhile, the mother-of-six also revealed how she "overprepared" for her director's audition for 'Unbroken'.
She told Us Weekly: "I'd only directed one other film [2011's In the Land of Blood and Honey], which was very small in comparison. I had to prove I could handle locations, the budget, balancing two plane crashes, the visual effects and the technical aspects.
"I overprepared [pitching the movie to studio executives], with all these graphs, maps, images and boards that I tied together and put in a garbage bag. Then I didn't hear anything for three days. It was terrible!"

The 'Shake It Off' hitmaker - who turned 25 yesterday (13.12.14) - was given a necklace with a pendant that featured a photograph of her cat, Meredith.
Sharing a picture of the gift on Instagram, Taylor wrote: "My birthday present from @lenadunham my new most cherished possession (sic)."
The 'Girls' star also took to social media to send her birthday wishes to the singer.
She wrote: "Happy 25th bday to my love @taylorswift13. I'm not the only girl you inspire but I am the only one you share nightgowns with. (sic)."
Taylor partied with a whole host of famous pals on Friday (12.12.14) night to celebrate the milestone birthday.
Guests at her apartment in Tribeca, New York City included Beyoncé, Jay Z, Justin Timberlake, Sam Smith and Karlie Kloss as well as Emma Roberts, Ansel Elgort, Kelly Osbourne, Nick Jonas, Chrissy Teigen and Selena Gomez.
Captioning a photograph from the festivities, she wrote: "So this is being 25 ... #WHAT #bestbirthdayEVER. (sic)"
Guests were fed with over 20 boxes of pizza and reportedly didn't leave until 5am the next morning.
Meanwhile, the 'Blank Space' hitmaker was also treated to a birthday serenade by legendary soul singer, Aretha Franklin.
Uploading a video of the performance to Twitter, Taylor wrote: "Aretha Franklin just sang 'Happy Birthday' to me and it will take me decades to recover. #goals (sic)"

Mel B’s family ‘desperate’ for information

Mel B's estranged mother has pleaded for information about her daughter on Twitter.
The former Spice Girl is currently being treated in a specialist hospital after collapsing earlier this week.
Andrea tweeted: "Mothers worse nightmare to hear ur daughters seriously Ill in hosp and not know where to go!! (sic)."
Mel's sister, Danielle, aired her frustration and upset as she took to the social media website to brand the whole thing "cruel".
She wrote: "It's just horrific!!!!!!
"This is ridiculous and cruel !!! Evil ! How can NO one tell me and my family where my sister is and what is going on?????
"Just a simple call to say she gonna be ok is all it takes!!!! (sic)"
Danielle - who fell out with her estranged sister after a public feud - admitted that she was "desperate" for any updates.
She tweeted: "I am beyond desperate and this should be a private family matter!!
"But we don't know what else to do if anyone at all can help then pls do! (sic)"
The actress also slammed Mel's husband, Stephen Belafonte, branding him an "evil liar".
She wrote: "STOP @stephenthinks1 with your evil lies!! You told me and my mum yesterday she is fine and not in hospital @SimonCowell just doing press! (sic)"
Meanwhile, the 'The X Factor' judge - who missed the first part of the talent show's final last night (13.12.14) - reportedly owes her life to her chauffeur, who drove her to hospital after she collapsed in his car.
The insider shared: "Mel seemed OK when she first got into the car - but during the journey it gradually became clear something was very wrong.
"She was complaining about stomach pains that seemed to grow worse and worse, until she was in agony. She was crying out.
"Mel was in so much pain that the driver rushed her straight to hospital. It was a terrifying episode - he had no idea if Mel was going to be OK or not."

Ariana Grande’s near-death trip

Ariana Grande "almost died" when she slipped on stage.
The 21-year-old singer was performing her hit track 'Love Me Harder' on stage at Z100's Jingle Ball in New York City on Friday (12.12.14) night, when the falling confetti caused her to lose her footing dangerously close to the edge of the stage.
In a video of the incident, which she posted to her Instagram page, she can be heard telling the audience: "Woo, girl, I almost died up here".
Captioning the video, she added: "When u slip on confetti & almost die at Madison Square Garden. (sic)"
Her jet-setting life and hectic schedule has meant the 'Break Free' hitmaker is looking forward to relaxing in her onesie over the festive break.
She said: "As soon as I get home, I'm getting in a onesie! I've even had onesie and heels day. When I throw the heels on with a pyjama moment, I just feel that much better ...
"Everybody has those days though, so it's totally fine, I don't even mind being seen."
Meanwhile, Ariana also revealed that she's looking forward to enjoying a traditional Italian Christmas with her family.
She said: "We have a loud, Italian family, who plays lots of poker.
"And you know, there's games and gambling, and cooking, and drinking, and festivities, and it's very fun."

Miley Cyrus ‘doing fine’ after operation

Miley Cyrus is "doing fine" after her operation.
The 'We Can't Stop' hitmaker had a cyst removed from her wrist on Friday (12.12.14), according to an E! News report.
She shared a graphic photo of what appears to be a wound on her arm being held open by surgical instruments as well as a picture of her in a hospital gown, captioning it: "sooooo hipster (sic)".
This is not the star's first trip to hospital this year. In April, Miley suffered a severe allergic reaction to Cephalexin, an antibiotic which is used to treat the flu.
At the time, a source revealed that the 22-year-old singer would be joined by a nurse for the rest of her UK 'Bangerz' tour.
They said previously: "Miley has been under the supervision of two nurses, who are monitoring her progress 24 hours a day at her home.
"She already has a nurse on standby for when she lands in the UK. The worst thing about her illness is that there are times when she feels entirely fine but then suddenly her symptoms flare up again.
"The reaction could still affect her over the next few days but Miley is determined to put on a great show for her UK fans."
Miley was reportedly given steroids as well as intravenous drips to keep her hydrated. She also used an oxygen tank to aid her breathing.
The insider continued: "While she was in hospital, she couldn't really eat without feeling nauseous so she started bingeing on junk food.
"Now she has been played on a strict diet of fresh fruit and veg, and is having vitamin shots to boost her immunity.
"Plus she has been banned from drinking booze or smoking anything, especially weed."

Ariana Grande dresses like her mother

Ariana Grande wears black to be like her mother.
The 'Love Me Harder' singer idolises her mom and has adapted her wardrobe to echo her unique sense of style.
She explained: "My mom has a closet of only black - I'm not even kidding. It has no colour at all. Floor to ceiling black, it's hilarious.
"I've been wearing more black lately because I want to be more like my mom. She's the most generous, most hilarious, most independent... I mean, talk about a feminist. She's the strongest and most amazing woman in the world."
Ariana recently spoke out to defend her brother Frankie following jibes about his sexuality and she admits she gets more upset when people mock him than say bad things about her.
She told Gay Times magazine: "You can talk s**t about me all you want, I kinda won't see it. I try not to give into my ego in that way. I won't care.
"But if you talk s**t about my brother, I might actually throw a stiletto at you.
"I'm just kidding, I've never [thrown a shoe]. But that's when all of my Kabbalah practice flies out the window and the loud abrasive Italian comes out and I start yelling.
"You can't talk s**t about Frankie to me. You just can't. I love him too much."

David Beckham ‘keen’ to have another baby

David Beckham is reportedly "keen" to have another baby.
The retired soccer star wants to add to his and his 40-year-old wife Victoria Beckham's brood but she's said to be concerned that her age could affect their chances of falling pregnant and even lead to complications.
A source revealed: "She worries about the risks with her age but David's very keen."
David, 39, and Victoria are currently preparing for the Christmas holidays, which they and children Brooklyn, 15, Romeo, 11, Cruz, nine, and Harper, three, will spend with TV chef Gordon Ramsay and his family.
The Beckhams will join Gordon, 48, and his wife Tana, 40, and their four children - Mathilda, Megan, Holly and Jack - at his home in south west London and see the rest of their family after the festive season.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "They all get on incredibly well.
"But as there's such a big group now with all the kids, they'll have a huge do together and see their parents separately."
Following on from the spread prepared by Gordon's private cooks, the two families will then travel to the Maldives to escape the cold British weather for their New Year's Eve celebrations.
The insider added: "They'll spend New Year in the sun."

Megan Trainor wants pop star boyfriend

Meghan Trainor wants to date a pop star.
The 'All About That Bass' hitmaker claims she's been struggling to find a boyfriend since becoming famous because men are "intimidated" by her blossoming career.
She said: "Guys are scared of me, it's ridiculous.
"I guess it's because I'm a pop star now and they are intimidated. I'm finding it so hard to date.
"Then even if I find a guy I'm like, 'OK bye, see you in six months as I'm off on tour'. I am so down to date another pop star. We could be as adorable as Ariana Grande and Big Sean."
However, despite believing her only shot at love is if she finds someone with a similar job, the 20-year-old beauty thinks all the good celebrity men are taken.
She told The Sun newspaper: "All of the guy pop stars are either my friends or are already dating. It's not like a rock star lifestyle any more - everyone has a lover. I want someone funny and nice. I don't care about age or looks."

Milla Jovovich applies for name change

Milla Jovovich has reportedly applied to change her name.
The 'Resident Evil' star is going to court to change her name for the second time and has also filed documents to change her and her director husband Paul W.S. Anderson's daughter's name, gossip site TMZ.com reports.
The 38-year-old beauty changed her name to Milla Anderson-Jovovich after tying the knot with the 'Pompeii' filmmaker - who also directed her in the 'Resident Evil' films - but is now planning to switch the surnames around so that her moniker instead reads Milla Jovovich-Anderson.
Milla has also requested that her and Paul's seven-year-old daughter Ever Gabo's name be changed from Ever Gabo Anderson to Ever Gabo Jovovich-Anderson.
However, it's unclear what prompted the 'Fifth Element' star - who is expecting another girl with Paul - to apply for the changes.
Milla revealed earlier this year that her daughter was relieved she'd be getting a baby sister rather than a baby brother when she gives birth in the New Year.
She said previously: "I don't know what we would have done if the baby was a boy. She [Ever] keeps saying, 'Don't get her anything new. She can wear all my clothes'. She's so economical."
The brunette beauty had already been married twice - firstly to 'Dazed and Confused' actor Shawn Andrews and then to her 'The Fifth Element' director Luc Besson - when she met her husband of five years.
