Lindsay Lohan has "grown up" since moving to London.
The 28-year-old actress has been living in the English capital for nine months now and admits getting away from Hollywood and New York has allowed her to mature.
She said: "I can go for a run here on my own. I do every morning, early, and I think how my friends in New York would still be up partying at that time. I needed to grow up and London is a better place for me to do that than anywhere else."
The 'Mean Girls' star has famously struggled with alcohol and drug addiction in the past and she blames her troubles on the lifestyle she's now left behind.
She explained: "In LA I didn't know what to do apart from go out every night. That's when my friends were free. And I would go out and there would be all these cameras there and that's when it became difficult."
Lindsay admits being able to escape the paparazzi and constant media attention in London is one of the main things pushing her to stay here permanently.
She added to The Observer newspaper: "I won't live in LA again, hell no. My friends tell me s**t when they come over I don't want to hear. I don't even know who got married and who got pregnant. You turn on the news in LA and it is all gossip about people ... I haven't heard myself mentioned on TV since I have been here. That has been really weird for me, and great."

Azealia Banks was a "nerdy kid".
The 23-year-old star claims she didn't understand the excitement of being praised by designers Karl Lagerfeld and Alexander Wang when she rose to fame with hit single '212' because she didn't know who they were.
She said: "I had no idea who Karl Lagerfeld was, so I didn't know what a big deal it was. I didn't know who Alexander Wang was before he gave me free clothes. I was a real nerdy kid."
The 'Liquorice' rapper also claims that while she may have been invited to perform at Chanel's creative director Lagerfeld's birthday party in 2012, she never got to know him on a personal level.
She continued: "They'd be like, 'How amazing was it hanging out with Karl Lagerfeld?' And I was like, 'You mean the time I got paid to sing my song and go home?' I've never hung out with him?"
And although she recently purchased a Chanel outfit to wear to an awards ceremony, she admits she isn't keen to become a part of the fashion pack.
She added to the Sunday Telegraph newspaper: "I absolutely love clothes, but the fashion industry is such a big machine and so influential. I don't understand how people can worship it."

Miranda Kerr's split from Orlando Bloom was "tough".
The 31-year-old model - who split from the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor in 2013 after three years of marriage - has revealed that she is "single, very single and really happy to be single".
She said: "It's tough. It's not easy going through all of that and I never thought I would.
"But we work our way through it."
Miranda also revealed that the pair - who have three-year-old Flynn together - want to make things as easy as possible for their son.
She told InStyle magazine: "We agree on pretty much everything when it comes to Flynn."
Orlando recently confirmed that the pair would be spending Christmas together.
Speaking of their son, he said: "He's four in January. So his mom is really close, which is great. So we'll be able to do Christmas together.
"Her family, my family. We'll all kind of come together."
Miranda also previously revealed that the pair will "forever" be a family.
She said: "We speak every day. We're really close, we're going to be a family forever and we both really do love each other."
Meanwhile, Miranda explained how Flynn has a nanny with him "all the time" when he stays at his dad's.
She shared: "The nanny is with him [Flynn] all the time when he is with Orlando; don't get me wrong, he's a great dad, it's just me being a protective mother and wanting to make sure all his needs are met."

Beyoncé likes dancing to 'All About That Bass'.
The song's hitmaker, Meghan Trainor, has revealed that the 'Drunk In Love' hitmaker is a big-fan of the chart-topping track.
She said: "She told me she likes dancing to my song!
"I love her so much and she's perfect in real life."
The 20-year-old singer also revealed how Beyoncé, 33, made contact with her to arrange for them to meet.
She gushed: "She messaged me and sent me a very nice message saying she thought I was cute and sweet and that she wants to meet me."
Despite getting the chance to meet her idol, Meghan revealed that she wished she was more like the 'Single Ladies' hitmaker.
She joked to The Hollywood Reporter: "I'm tired when dancing at the same time. I'm not Beyoncé."
Meanwhile, Meghan recently revealed that she'd like a pop star boyfriend because men are "intimidated" by her career.
She said: "Guys are scared of me, it's ridiculous.
"I guess it's because I'm a pop star now and they are intimidated. I'm finding it so hard to date.
"Then even if I find a guy I'm like, 'OK bye, see you in six months as I'm off on tour'. I am so down to date another pop star. We could be as adorable as Ariana Grande and Big Sean."
However, Meghan revealed that all the guys she likes are off limits.
She added: "All of the guy pop stars are either my friends or are already dating.
"It's not like a rock star lifestyle any more - everyone has a lover. I want someone funny and nice. I don't care about age or looks."

Kylie Jenner finds it "normal" growing up in the spotlight.
The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star has revealed how her and her family are used to the constant media attention.
She said: "It's something that we've grown up with.
"It's kind of normal for us - as normal as it can be."
The 17-year-old television personality credits her close-knit family for "teaching" her how to grow up and handle the attention.
She told Splash magazine: "We have an amazing family surrounding us.
"They taught us so much about growing up in [the spotlight]."
Meanwhile, Kylie recently had to defend herself after rumours that she had her lips filled.
She said previously: "I feel like everyone has been talking about it for months, so I'm kind of sick of it.
"My pictures, I palp them out a lot. I think big lips are awesome.
"I love lip liner and over lining my lips. But I don't even care anymore. I'm like whatever, just say whatever you want."
Kylie also took to Twitter to explain that she was "bored" of the rumours.
She tweeted previously: "How long are we gonna talk about this lip thing lmao. Let's get a our lives together guys and talk about some important s**t. Just talk about something new at least. I'm bored.
"These plastic surgery rumours hurt my feelings to be honest and are kinda insulting. (sic)"

Kourtney Kardashian has given birth to a baby boy.
The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star and partner Scott Disick have welcomed their new arrival on the 5th birthday of their eldest son, Mason.
The 35-year-old television personality - who also has Penelope, 2 - is believed to be incredibly excited about the new addition to the family.
A source told E! News: "The family is freaking out with joy. What an amazing coincidence."
Earlier, Kourtney shared a photo of Mason, calling him the "coolest little boy".
She wrote: "Happy birthday to the coolest little boy in the entire world. You teach me so much every single day and changed my universe the second I met you.
"You have taught me what life is all about and I am truly blessed and honored to be your mommy. (sic)"
Meanwhile, Kourtney recently posed nude for DuJour magazine whilst nine months pregnant, something which she found "wonderful".
Speaking about the shoot, she said: "I had done a nude shoot when I was pregnant with Mason, really last minute just for myself, and I love it.
"This time, we were shooting for our show, and everyone on our camera crew was like, 'You are so comfortable just walking around naked and pregnant!'
"[But] what appeals to me is celebrating the shape of my body being pregnant and capturing that time in my life ... It's a wonderful thing to be able to show my children these photographs one day and say, 'This was you inside' ... I'm at my best when I'm pregnant.
"It's such an amazing feeling, the transformation that your body goes through. There's something about that that's so empowering and beautiful."

Justin Bieber was spotted "flirting" with Hailey Baldwin.
The 'As Long As You Love Me' hitmaker - who is rumoured to be seeing the 18-year-old model - was filmed enjoying a "date" with her at State Social House in West Hollywood on Friday (12.12.14).
A photographer at the scene told X17online:
"Justin and Hailey were definitely on a date. He was in a great mood - dancing, drinking, flirting with Hailey.
"She seems kind of shy, which may be one reason Bieber likes her. He's used to girls throwing themselves at him and she's just low key. She's kinda like one of the boys - but hot!"
The pair reportedly arrived at the gastropub in Justin's red Ferrari before being escorted to a private space at the venue.
The 20-year-old singer is believed to have even asked her to dance with him and whilst they were chatting, Justin was spotted biting his lip.
Meanwhile, Hailey - who is the niece of Hollywood star Alec Baldwin - recently denied the rumours that her and Justin were dating.
She said previously: "I've known him since I was so young - since I was like 13 - and we've just been good friends over the years.
"We have just stayed close and there's nothing more to it than that."

Kanye West has reportedly spent $7,000 on a Christmas present for his wife, Kim Kardashian West.
The 'Stronger' hitmaker was seen browsing the designer section in the Montaigne market in Paris, France on Friday (12.12.14) when a fur jacket caught his eye.
The Yves Salomon fox fur jacket has a price tag of around $7,000, according to a report by the MailOnline.
Meanwhile, Kim - who has 17-month-old North with the rapper - has reportedly set her heart on commissioning an "artistic" sculpture of her bottom as a present for the 37-year-old.
The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' - who posed nude for Paper magazine in a bid to break the internet - has reportedly paid over $20,000 for a Silicon replica of her behind.
A source recently revealed: "The replica was her idea for a gift, she thinks it's artistic and knew Kanye would love it.
"It means he'll always have a piece of her, albeit her bum, if Kim's away working."
Despite planning each other's Christmas gifts, rumours have circulated that the pair's relationship is on the rocks.
A source previously explained that Kim is "determined" to make her relationship work, after watching her mother, Kris Jenner's, very public split from Bruce Jenner earlier this year.
The source shared: "Kim is determined to make this work because she does not want to ever have to go through what she is watching her mom and Bruce go through."

Lindsay Lohan has fallen for a city banker.
The 28-year-old actress - who has just completed a stint in 'Speed-The-Plow' in London's West End - is reportedly keen to stay in the capital city so she can be with her new boyfriend.
A source revealed: "Lindsay has made her mind up, she has loved her time in London and wants to stay.
"She is so happy there, she's got her boyfriend who she absolutely adores. She hopes that this one will work out."
The 'Mean Girls' star - who has struggled with alcohol and drugs in the past - is glad to leave her "troubled past" behind.
The insider continued to the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "What she loves the most is that she is able to leave her troubled past behind her in the UK.
"Lindsay feels that she's done in America, that all of the problems she had won't be forgotten, that she won't be regarded as that young girl who took drugs and went to prison."
Lindsay - who is hoping to find another theatre role in London - will spend Christmas in New York with her close relatives before travelling back to England in the new year.
