Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have no plans to get married.
The couple, who welcomed their daughter Esmeralda Amada into the world three months ago, are reportedly very content and don't want to change their relationship status.
A source close to the couple said: "Neither felt the need to get married, it's just not a huge priority for either of them. They know what they have."
The duo's romance was recently rumoured to be on the rocks, as the 34-year-old actor was forced to spend long periods in Atlanta, Georgia filming his upcoming movie, 'The Nice Guys,' while Eva remained in Los Angeles with their baby.
But the insider said: "Ryan and Eva are super-super-private. The last thing they'd do is bring a baby, who's barely three-months-old, to a film set teeming with paparazzi. Ryan specifically wanted it like this - with paps following him in Atlanta, they're mostly leaving Eva and the baby alone."
Eva, 40, texted her boyfriend plenty of photographs and videos of their little girl while he was away, and they enjoyed "a wonderful Christmas together with both her family and his" last week.
Meanwhile, the 'Hitch' actress is still adjusting to motherhood.
The source explained to E! News: "The baby is still not sleeping through the night yet so [Eva's] tired. She's also still getting used to breastfeeding - it's not easy. But she's happily in nesting mode."

Solange Knowles isn't "too worried" after being issued a $55,000 tax lien.
The 'Losing You' hitmaker, who married Alan Ferguson in a lavish ceremony in New Orleans, Louisiana last month, has been accused of failing to pay her taxes between 2010 and 2012, but isn't upset about the situation.
A source close to the 28-year-old star told E! News: "Solange wasn't too worried. She's on top of stuff and has always been financially responsible."
The singer, who is the younger sister of Beyoncé Knowles, insists her outstanding Californian tax bill is merely a misunderstanding, as she lives in New Orleans, and is already in the process of being cleared up.
Her spokesperson said: "The lien is in process of being removed as there was simply confusion on whether Solange was a California resident. We expect this to come to a swift close."
The lien was filed just three days her recent wedding.
Solange previously brushed off rumours of financial trouble when she denied Beyoncé, 33, had paid for her and Alan's honeymoon.
Her representatives said at the time: "Reports that Beyoncé paid for Solange's honeymoon with Alan Ferguson are false. There is no truth to this. Solange and Alan paid for their honeymoon themselves. They did not receive any compensation of any kind."

Chris Evans paid a surprise visit to a sick cancer patient in Boston.
The 33-year-old actor thrilled nine-year-old Kenny Botting, who is battling a brain tumour, when he made an appearance at Christopher's Haven, which provides and home away from home for children with cancer, on Monday (29.12.14).
The 'Captain America' star, who is from nearby Sudbury, Massachusetts, arrived at the medical centre with autographed gifts for his young fan and happily posed for photographs with him before taking a tour of the facility, according to WBZ-TV.
Chris was in town to attend a fundraising event for the centre at Fenway Park, according to PEOPLE.com, and admitted he draws strength from fans like Kenny.
He said: "It's their strength that gives me strength. No matter what hurdles are in my life, it's nothing compared to what these families go through, so any way I can bring a smile, it's worth it."
Meanwhile, Kenny, who is staying at Christopher's Haven with his mother and sister while he undergoes treatment next door at Massachusetts General Hospital, is grateful that he got a chance to meet his idol.
He said: "I am more than happy. I just want to say thank thanks for coming."

Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting doesn't consider herself a feminist.
The 'Big Bang Theory' actress admits she is "old-fashioned" and has never faced inequality so doesn't feel the need to voice her support for women's rights.
She said: "I know a lot of the work that paved the way for women happened before I was around...I was never that feminist girl demanding equality, but maybe that's because I've never really faced inequality."
The 29-year-old star also likes the idea of taking care of her husband, Ryan Sweeting, 27.
She said: "I cook for Ryan five nights a week: It makes me feel like a housewife. I love that. I know it sounds old-fashioned, but I like the idea of women taking care of their men.
"I'm so in control of my work that I like coming home and serving him. My mom was like that, so I think it kind of rubbed off."
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty, who recently secured a $1 million pay cheque per episode, plans to share her growing fortune with her entire family.
She told the February issue of Redbook magazine: "All I think about is what it means for my family...and knowing there is security for all of us.
"My parents spent 16 years hauling my butt to LA for audition after audition. I remember always hoping I could help take care of them because they took such good care of me. Knowing I'll be able to just brings tears to my eyes."

Chris Rock reportedly wasn't happy in his relationship for some time.

But another source close to Chris - who wants joint legal and physical custody - previously claimed he feared Malaak wanted to stop him from seeing their daughters.
The friend added: "He lives for his children. They come first."
Though the former couple have only just announced their separation, pals say they had been having problems for "some time".
A source recently said: "Chris just wasn't happy in the marriage anymore. There is no third party involved . . . Chris and his wife had previously separated and got back together, so there have been problems for some time."
Another insider told PEOPLE.com: "This was a long time coming. Chris has known it wasn't salvageable for a while. He was the one to file because he knew it was time to just move forward already."

Hayden Panettiere's newborn daughter is "an amazing combination" of her and fiancé Wladimir Klitschko.
The 'Nashville' star, who gave birth to her first child, Kaya Evdokia, with the Ukrainian heavy-weight champion on December 9, is thrilled the tot has inherited a mixture of their features.
The 25-year-old actress, who is 18 inches shorter than the six-foot-six boxer, said: "She's an amazing combination of both of us. I look at her and say, 'Oh, she has my ears!' And he goes, 'Oh, she better be tall because she's got my hands and feet.' "

The couple immediately toasted their engagement with champagne and "desserts were sent later on."
Sofia has a 22-year-old son, Manolo, from a previous marriage and ended her engagement to Nick Loeb in June.

Jeremy Renner's wife has filed for divorce after 10-months of marriage.
Sonni Pacheco - who has a 21-month-old daughter, Ava Berlin, with the 'American Hustle' star - cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split in court documents filed earlier this month.
The Canadian beauty has also reportedly demanded the 43-year-old actor return her stolen passport, birth certificate and social security card, according to gossip website TMZ.com.
Sonni wants their pre-nuptial agreement to be voided because she claims it was based on fraud, and is seeking spousal support and physical custody of their daughter.
The lingerie model also wants Jeremy to pay her rent and moving expenses, and to allow her to continue to use the Range Rover he purchased.
News of their split comes just four months after the 'Kill the Messenger' star revealed he and Sonni had got married earlier this year, but said he kept their wedding a secret at the time to protect her privacy.
In September, he said: "I have tried to protect my family's privacy, my wife's privacy. I don't need her to get hammered with my life.
"Privacy issues are important because I want her to go about her day without being bothered. Paps follow me around . . . that's fine. But . . . I don't like being followed when I'm with my family."
