Taylor Lautner splits from girlfriend

Taylor Lautner has split from his girlfriend.
The 'Twilight Saga' actor and Marie Avgeropoulos went their separate ways a few months ago but have agreed to stay friends.
A source told E! News: "It was completely amicable. Taylor is dating and having fun. Nothing serious."
No reason has been given for the split and a spokesperson for the 22-year-old actor didn't comment.
The former couple met in the summer of 2013 on the set of their movie 'Tracers' and were first seen holding hands as they walked around SoHo in New York in late July that year.
Taylor - who has also dated two other co-stars, Lily Collins from his 2011 movie 'Abduction' and Taylor Swift, who he appeared alongside in 'Valentine's Day' - has previously admitted he thinks he is a very "loyal" boyfriend and believes "honesty" is vital to a relationship.
He has said in the past: "Honestly and loyalty are key. If two people can be honest with each other about everything, that's probably the biggest key to success. I like to think of myself as very loyal, and I love everyone I surround myself with, whether they're friends or girlfriends or whatever. I love loyal people."

Snoop Dogg is a grandfather

Snoop Dogg has become a grandfather for the first time.
The 'Drop It Like It's Hot' hitmaker - who has children Corde, 21, Cordell, 18, and Corde, 15, with wife Shante, and 16-year-old son Julian from another relationship - is thrilled his eldest child has become a father for the first time, to a baby boy named Zion Kalvin.
Snoop, 43, posted a collage of images on his Instagram account showing members of his family cradling the new arrival and wrote: "Zion. U have a lot of love WAitn on u grandson!! (sic)"
He also added a video of Corde with his little boy and wrote: "Proud grandad. My son spank n grandson Zion!! Jah bless (sic)"
And Shante also shared a picture of herself with her new grandchild.
She wrote alongside it: "My First Born @1lovesociety Gave Me My First #Zionkalvin #Mamatae (sic)"
Snoop - whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. - has previously admitted he lets his kids do "whatever they want" and defended himself after pictures were published of him smoking marijuana with Corde when his son was just 18 years old.
He said at the time: "My kids can do whatever the hell they want. For me to say otherwise would be hypocritical. A lot of motherf***ers don't have a relationship with their kids, and that's when they get on drugs and have suicidal thoughts and drive drunk.
"Me and my son is mellow. I'm his father, so I wanna show him the proper way because he looks up to me. What better way to get it than from the master?"

Jennifer Aniston won’t wake up to hear Oscar nominations

Jennifer Aniston doesn't want to be awake when the Oscar nominations are announced in case she doesn't get a nod.
The 45-year-old actress is expected to receive a Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role nomination for her part in 'Cake' but she's revealed she has no plans to wake up when they're announced at 8.30am EST, 1.30pm GMT today (15.01.15), in order to find out.
She said: "I'm not going to torture myself. My phone rang yesterday at five o'clock in the morning and I was like, 'What's happening? Who's dead or b, is today Thursday?' "
Instead, the 'We're the Millers' star insists she'll be tucked up in bed with her fiance Justin Theroux and will wait until the morning to hear the good or bad news.
She told E! News: "I'll be in bed. I'll be in bed with my beloved and my dogs dreaming wild little dreams."
Jennifer's role in 'Cake' sees her star as a woman who becomes addicted to painkillers and becomes obsessed with the suicide of a female in her chronic pain support group, and she admits it was "liberating" to wear little makeup and have prosthetic scarring across her face and body for the film.
She said previously: "It's one of the most liberating things. It was incredible."
The brunette beauty narrowly missed out on a Golden Globe for the performance and has been nominated for a Critics' Choice Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Mariah Carey confirms Las Vegas residency

Mariah Carey has confirmed her Las Vegas residency.
The 44-year-old singer has signed up to headline the Colosseum at Caesar's Palace in Sin City and revealed she will be performing all of her 18 number ones during the spectacular show.
Speaking in a pre-recorded interview on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', which is set to air today (15.01.15), she said: "I'm going to do my first ever residency in Vegas at Caesars. This is a special event for me.
"And again, I have to hope that the fans will enjoy this cause I'm gonna be performing, which was kind of inspired by my album 'Number 1's', and this is now the updated version with 18 of them."
Mariah - who has three-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with estranged husband Nick Cannon - admitted she is hoping her fans will enjoy hearing some of her older hit singles being played live.
Talk show host Ellen said: "18 number one hits. 18 Number one's!"
Mariah replied: "And hopefully other people will enjoy this. I've never done this before. Some of these songs I'm like, 'Really, I'm gonna do this again, OK?' "
While the blonde stunner didn't reveal how much she is set to earn for the deal, it was recently reported she is going to receive more than the $30 million Britney Spears is receiving for her two-year residency.
It was also reported Mariah will be filling in for Celine Dion - who postponed her shows at Caesars Palace last August to care for her husband René Angélil, who had a cancerous tumour removed from his throat in December 2013 - and she is said to have told the venue she won't return to her residency until the end of 2015 at the earliest.

Justin Bieber laughs off Calvin Klein critics

Justin Bieber has laughed off critics of his Calvin Klein images.
A series of photographs of the 20-year-old heartthrob were recently released by the fashion house showing the hunk posing in his underwear as he was named as the new face of the brand, and he has now laughed off speculation the images were digitally enhanced to improve his muscles and package.
Posting a muscled image on Instagram of himself wearing only a towel to cover his modesty, he wrote: "Photoshop lol."
The 'As Long As You Love Me' hitmaker's physique has been doubted since the photographs were released, and last week gossip website breatheheavy.com published an image which they claimed was an original shot of the singer before it was edited, showing him with considerably smaller muscles and a less impressive bulge in his underwear.
However, the website quickly pulled the image after Justin's team threatened to sue them for damaging his brand.
Critics of the images include Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg's wife, Rhea, who took to her Twitter account last week to say she thought her husband looked better in his Calvin Klein shoot, which took place in 1992.
She wrote: "My baby was the 1st and the best And not to mention......wow the retouching......(sic)."
Famous underwear model David Gandy, 34, has also come out in support of the actor's physique in his campaign, saying Justin can't compare because his muscles aren't as defined.
He told The Sun newspaper: "Mark is very strong. I can't imagine Justin having as many muscles."

Kris brands Bruce photos ‘mean’

Kris Jenner is feeling outraged after a magazine printed photos of Bruce Jenner as a woman.
InTouch magazine's front cover shows an edited picture of the former Olympian wearing lipstick, blusher, and a silk scarf, and features several other images of the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star's ex-husband under the headline "Bruce's story: My life as a woman," much to her disgust.
The 59-year-old television personality is reportedly furious about the magazine's content, and has told friends it is a "mean" thing for them to do.
A source close to her said: "It's just mean to do whether or not it's true."
Speculation over the 65-year-old star's gender preference has been rife for several years, but his friends claim he doesn't care about what is written about him in the press.
They told gossip website TMZ: "He doesn't even pay attention to this stuff."
Bruce - who officially divorced Kris last month following 23 years of marriage - has two children, Kendall, 19, and Kylie, 17, with the Kardashian matriarch, who last year said she was surprised so much was written about her former flame because it is almost all untrue.
She said: "Ninety-nine percent of the stuff in the tabloids is made up.
"I think when he gets his nails buffed they put clear nail polish on him. The bottom line is, we [the Kardashians] sell magazines."

Noel Gallagher: Liam’s life is a mess

Noel Gallagher thinks his brother Liam has made a "f***ing mess" of his personal life.
The 'Ballad of the Mighty I' singer has urged his brother and former Oasis bandmate to "cleanse" himself of "baggage" following the demise of his marriage to Nicole Appleton - who he split from in 2013 after it emerged he had fathered a child with American journalist Liza Ghorbani - and "start again".
Discussing the turbulence surrounding Liam - who is now dating his former manager Debbie Gwyther - twice-married Noel said: "He's made a f**ing mess of things at the moment but we've all been there. I've been there.
"Something like that can be a great thing because you get to the bottom and you cleanse yourself of a lot of f***ing s**t baggage and you start again. I'm the kind of person that says, 'F**k it, take it,' and I'll start again. And that would be my advice to him."
Noel last saw 42-year-old Liam - whose first wife was Patsy Kensit - in May 2014 on the day their beloved soccer team Manchester City won the Premier League and the 47-year-old rocker was not surprised to get into another row with his younger sibling because he is still an "angry barking dog".
He added to NME magazine: "I was in the directors box, obviously, and he was outside selling burgers and one of the directors asked if I wanted to go on the pitch with the team, so I was like, 'F***ing yeah.' So I went on the pitch and I said to [captain] Vincent Kompany, 'Give us your armband.' And he gave me it.
"I was wearing it in the bar afterwards and I was sitting talking to somebody and someone came up behind me and tried to take the armband off and I was like, 'F***ing get off of it.' And it was Liam.
"He was like, 'F***ing hell man, you knobhead, you shouldn't have that. I should f***ing have that.' And that's how it started. I was like, 'Oh yeah, alright, and how are you? Every time I see him he is still being a bit of a f***ing cheeky ****. And he's still putting out the persona of the angry barking dog."

Karl Lagerfeld: Best dressed should get benefits

Karl Lagerfeld thinks only well-dressed people should receive benefits.
The controversial Chanel creative director thinks current welfare schemes should be scrapped in favour of bonus systems which offer extra payments for those who are "well turned-out".
Discussing what he would do if he was king, he said: "I would make myself head of the style police and we would fight fiercely against sloppiness.
"Being well turned-out is not a question of means. Benefits for families would be replaced by maintenance bonuses for those who make an effort."
The 81-year-old designer would also like to see parents educate their children more because he thinks it would reduce the number of people suffering from degenerative conditions like Alzheimer's disease.
He told Stylist magazine: "Studying the dictionary should be compulsory. One page per day, like my mother made me do when I was little, with parents testing children in the evening.
"I would make everybody learn two or three languages. Being trilingual is essential, it opens doors for you, opens your mind and helps you to avoid Alzheimer's disease."
The outspoken fashion mogul also despises "narrow-minded" people and "idiots".
He said: "I would declare war on idiots. And on the uneducated - people who lecture you, narrow-minded people and on those who want to return to a split East and West Germany, with closed borders and all that."

Chris Pratt named Hasty Pudding’s 2015 Man of the Year

Chris Pratt has been named Hasty Pudding's 2015 Man of the Year.
The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' star will be honoured by the oldest theatrical organisation in the US at a parade and roasting ceremony at Harvard University on February 6 for becoming "a bona fide Hollywood heavyweight in the past year."
News that the 35-year-old actor will bestowed with the prestigious honour comes less than a week after Hasty Pudding announced his 'Parks and Recreation' co-star Amy Poehler as its 2015 Woman of the Year.
In a statement the organisation said: "The Pudding is excited to honour a performer who became a bona fide Hollywood heavyweight in the past year, going from lovable supporting roles to headlining two of the highest grossing blockbusters of the year."
Hasty Pudding president Jason Hellerstein added: "We vehemently deny that the members of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals are obsessed with 'Parks and Recreation'. There is absolutely no basis to the rumours of ritualistic weekly viewings of the show at the Hasty Pudding Clubhouse. ... Joking aside, Chris Pratt's recent achievements as an actor are outstanding and we could not be more thrilled to host him and celebrate his talent as only the Pudding can."
Chris shared his excitement on Twitter after the news was announced, writing: "I still can't believe Harvard University has awarded me the Hasty Pudding Man of the Year Degree in Medicine."
Last year, the titles were bestowed on Dame Helen Mirren and Neil Patrick Harris, while previous winners include Anne Hathaway, Halle Berry, Claire Danes, Charlize Theron, Kiefer Sutherland, Justin Timberlake, James Franco and Jay Leno.
