Alyssa Milano says divorce is "not an option".
The 'Charmed' actress has insisted her and husband David Bugliari - who she tied the knot with six years ago - have to "work" on their relationship but she believes it's all worth it.
She said: "[Marriage is] work, and there's no one I'd rather put in the work with.
"The most important thing is to laugh. If you can laugh with someone, you can get through anything."
And the 42-year-old beauty has made a conscious decision to terminate her role in 'Mistresses' so she can spend more time with her husband and their two children Milo and Elizabella.
She explained: "It's hard enough to have a successful marriage in this industry.
"I'm not going to take my kids away from my husband for four months and move to Vancouver."
Alyssa also credits acting for helping her try different ventures including, most recently, teaming up with Viva to design paper towels.
She told Entertainment Tonight: "The beauty of acting is it's enabled me to do all of these other things, which I also find super, super fulfilling in a different way.
"Who knows how I'm going to feel once [my kids are] in high school, and I feel like their little beings have been moulded into what they're going to be and they can look at me and say, 'We're going to be OK.'
"But for right now I have this window of opportunity to not only enjoy them, but also to make sure that I'm being a good parent and be a present parent. So, I'm going to do that."

Hilaria Baldwin has lost 18 pounds.
The 31-year-old beauty has lost the impressive amount in just ten weeks and credits her success to avoiding stress.
She said: "I gave birth about 10 weeks ago, but I'm not trying to lose the baby weight.
"I've come to a point in my life where I'm not trying to be skinny, I'm just trying to be healthy, and I've found that if I don't really stress about it, the weight kind of just comes off."
Hilaria - who has daughter Carmen, two, and newborn son, Rafael with husband Alec Baldwin - also puts her success down to coconut water.
She shared: "I started drinking it religiously when I was pregnant with Carmen to soften the early contractions I had throughout my pregnancy.
"My doctor wanted me to drink Gatorade, but I prefer not to drink anything with artificial colours, and coconut water is supposed to hydrate just as well.
"I'm totally on the coconut bandwagon right now because I'm breastfeeding my son and it's also supposed to help with milk production."
And after choking on a chip as a young girl, she avoids snacking on anything similar, preferring fruit and vegetables.
She told Cosmopolitan magazine: "To this day, I don't really like chips or crackers or anything like that. I'm very into textures. I don't like popcorn because it reminds me of packing material."

Meat Loaf was spitting blood as he sang on stage in Australia.
The 'Bat Out Of Hell' hitmaker had endured three vocal cord surgeries when he suddenly found himself in agony again on stage, but he powered through, and was amazed that he got nothing but "hostility" from fans for his efforts.
He explained: "I gave those people everything I had and more. I was warming up, and it was like you're slicing a vegetable and you cut your finger really bad and it's bleeding everywhere, that's how blood was coming out of my throat. It was just running out of my throat."
He added: "When you're 26, your voice has a certain timbre. When you're 68, your voice no longer has that timbre ... Adele cancelled a tour with a haemorrhaging vocal cord, I did a tour in Australia with a haemorrhaging vocal cord. I was spitting blood every night on stage. And I've got nothing but grief and major hostility."
Now the Texan singer's voice is back to normal he's been working on his upcoming LP - 'Original Album Classics' - slated for release this autumn and promised it's "pretty wild".
He told Billboard: "When you hear the opening track, your mouth's gonna hang open. You're either gonna take the CD and throw it against the wall, or you're going to go, 'I gotta see what's coming next.' The opening number is pretty wild."

Kelis has had to stop ordering milkshakes because she can't stand the jokes any more.
The 36-year-old singer's most famous song is 2003's 'Milkshake', which was a hit all over the world.
Although Kelis is very proud of the track she has grown tired of the endless gags and puns and so has ditched the dairy drink from her diet.
In an interview with ES Magazine, she said: "I stopped ordering milkshakes a long time ago because the jokes were getting irritating. Luckily, no one drinks milkshakes in California anyway, because life here (in LA) is one big health fad."
Although she lives in health-conscious Los Angeles with her six-year-old son Knight - her son with ex-husband Nas - Kelis refuses to follow every fad and still likes traditional foods and ingredients.
The R&B star - who is currently pregnant with her second child - explained: "Neurotic, crazy foodies live here, but I'm not one of those people who is afraid of butter. People shouldn't be scared of salt either. I don't use iodised stuff, but sea or kosher salt makes a big difference to a dish."
Kelis loves cooking and spends most of her free time in her kitchen creating delicious dishes on her 7ft long oven which comes complete with gold knobs.
She boasted: "My oven rocks! It's 7ft long and canary yellow with gold knobs. It was handmade in France and delivered by guys in white gloves. It gets hot as hell so I can cook for hundreds with it."

Lamar Odom still considers himself "a big part of the Kardashian family".
The 35-year-old former LA Lakers star - who was dumped by wife Khloé Kardashian in December 2013 following months of rumours he was addicted to drugs and cheating on her - admits he is struggling to move on from his life with his ex, even though she is dating James Harden, and his life as part of the reality TV clan.
He told Life & Style Weekly magazine: "I love Khloé in a place where there is no space or time, so it's infinite. I can't control it. I think I'm still a big part of the Kardashian family."
Khloé was left "emotionally shaken" by her encounter with Lamar last month after he reportedly shouted at her outside a Soul Cycle class in Beverly Hills and the next day she caught a private plane to Texas to see James.
An insider previously said: "It was a really scary morning. She was totally freaked out, she had no idea how he found her.
"Not only was it a surprise to see him, but it truly was a scary interaction.
"She's such a strong woman, it's crazy to think about what she's gone through. But she was absolutely emotionally shaken from this."
Khloé, 30, and Lamar are currently waiting for a judge to finalise their divorce.

Sam Smith is going to "kiss loads of boys" over the next year for inspiration for his next album.
The 'Stay With Me' singer needs some romance in his life to give him lyrics for his next batch of songs for his second album - which was delayed this year due to vocal cord surgery he underwent in May - and he thinks smooching "loads" of men will help him get his creative juices flowing.
Asked on UK station BBC Radio Two whether the LP will feature any love songs, he revealed: "One song could be yes. I need to get with someone first for it to be about a relationship, so I'm just going to try and kiss loads of boys over the next year.
Sam - who split from model Jonathan Zeizel in January and has since been linked to Charlie King - is pushing for an exciting love life because he wants to steer clear of an album written about "loneliness" and heartache, which was the basis for his acclaimed debut 'In the Lonely Hour'.
Speaking ahead of his 'BBC Radio 2: In Concert' gig - which is available on the BBC Red Button and online at bbc.co.uk/radio2 - Sam said: "I'm always going to be sad about something. It's not going to be about loneliness, that's all I know. I'm just trying to live my life and see what happens. But I've already managed to write some pretty sad things."
The 23-year-old Grammy Award winner also revealed he's started to feel the pressure of being an international pop superstar and admits being famous does have some major drawbacks.
He said: "Some of the things that have happened and some of the things that I know, that I know some stuff that people don't know, it's all insanely overwhelming and truly hasn't sunk in at all. I have quite a warped idea of where I'm at. I don't really know what's going on still.
"I think it's the pressure in how you react, when you're given four Grammys and you're selling loads of records, people expect you to react in a certain way but it just hasn't digested."
At the gig, Sam treated an intimate audience to a set list of his biggest hits, including 'Money On My Mind', 'Latch' and 'Stay With Me'.
Sam Smith 'BBC Radio 2: In Concert' setlist:
'Only One'
'Leave Your Lover'
'Nirvana'
'Like I Can'
'Restart'
'Not In That Way/ I Can't Help'
'Money On My Mind'
'Latch'
'Make It To Me'
'Stay With Me'

Sarah Harding bared her bum to onlookers after she accidentally split her jumpsuit while dancing at the Walkers Bring It Back launch party on Thursday night (03.09.15).
The 'Threads' singer was left red-faced at the nostalgia themed bash when she got a bit over-enthusiastic whilst gyrating on a dance machine and tore her white pants exposing her underwear to all the other guests at Vinopolis in London.
Afterwards, Sarah said: "I haven't danced on one of these for years and got so excited that I think I danced a little too hard - managing to rip my trousers in the process!"
Former Girls Aloud star Sarah was joined at the bash by a host of other celebrities including Joey Essex, Jodie Kidd, Louise Thompson and 'Match of the Day' host Gary Lineker - who is the star of Walkers advertising campaign.
At one point, Joey and Louise had a race on the Space Hopper Pac-Man course, but the former 'TOWIE' star lost control of his bouncer and was flung off.
Speaking about his mishap, he said "I loved the Space Hopper! It was so much fun racing Louise but hurt a lot when I came flying off at the end. I can get very competitive!"
Jodie also convinced Gary to play dress up with her and the ex-England soccer player donned a blonde wig and black headband.
The party was held to launch Walkers new flavour campaign, Bring it Back, which is asking crisps lovers to vote for their favourite classic flavour to return to shelves.
The five flavours competing to make a comeback are Barbecue, Toasted Cheese, Lamb & Mint, Beef & Onion and Cheese & Chive.
The public has until November 1, 2015 to try the different packets and then vote for their preference at www.walkers.co.uk or on Facebook and Twitter using the flavour hashtags. All voters have a chance to win a £100,000 prize.

Sir Ian McKellen snubbed a starring role alongside Tom Cruise in 'Mission: Impossible II'.
The 76-year-old actor has admitted it was a huge risk turning down a role in the franchise but says he wouldn't have got his famous parts in 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'X-Men' if he had accepted.
He told PEOPLE magazine: "I got offered a part in 'Mission: Impossible II' with Tom Cruise, but they wouldn't let me see the whole script because I might have spilled the beans. I only got my scenes.
"Well, I couldn't judge from reading just those scenes what the script was like. So I said no. And my agent said, "You can't say no to working with Tom Cruise!" and I said, "I think I will.
"The next day, Bryan Singer asked me to play Magneto (in 2000's 'X-Men') and then Peter Jackson asked me to play Gandalf (in 'The Lord of the Rings'), and I said yes to both."
Meanwhile, Ian previously admitted he swiped a few of the "precious" props from the set of the fantasy film series.
He admitted: "And I think my favorite set, that I didn't act in, was the golden Liar, where the dragon was hiding. Hundreds of thousands of golden coins, specially made. And if you don't tell anyone, I can tell you that I have some of those coins.
"[I also have] the front door key to Bag End, which i know Peter Jackson is looking for, but will never find."
