George and Amal Clooney have adopted a dog.
The couple - who tied the knot in a lavish Italian ceremony in 2014 - adopted a four- year-old basset hound named Millie, who was rescued by the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society in California.
The humane society shared a photograph on its Facebook page of the couple with Millie and their other canine Louie, 10, who they rescued in March.
SGVHS wrote: "ADOPTED! Millie was adopted by George Clooney and his wife Amal!! Millie, a bassett hound, now has a new brother named Louie who is also a rescue! Congratulations and thank you for adopting!!"
A message on the charity's website also detailed how Millie got to know her new family.
It said: "Millie was found without a home and hoping for food scraps outside of a local restaurant in San Gabriel earlier this month.
"Today her luck changed for the better when she was adopted by George and Amal Clooney. They were searching for a basset hound and saw Millie's picture on Petfinder. They did a 'meet and greet' with her and spent time introducing her to their other rescue, a cocker spaniel named Louie. It was good news that Millie and Louie hit it off and the happy, new family headed home together! We hope Millie will stay in touch and send photos. Congratulations to the Clooney family and thank you for adopting!"

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini "coped in public and crumbled in private" when she discovered ex-husband Ashley Cole had cheated on her.
The 32-year-old star has opened up about having to go through with her performance at the BRIT Awards in 2010 shortly after news broke that the soccer star had been unfaithful.
She said: "To be honest, I coped in public and crumbled in private.
"It's growth, it's life. They say a good sailor would never be a good sailor if he hadn't experienced a rough sea."
Cheryl also revealed that many people who judged her for getting back together with Ashley, 34, after they'd split have since apologised to her after going through the same thing in their own relationships.
The 'I Don't Care' hitmaker told InStyle magazine: "It's funny - those who didn't understand my actions at the time have now had that happen to them and they get it. A friend of mine told me her husband was having an affair and she said, 'I understand everything that must have been going through your head. But what I will never understand is how you had to face the world.' "
Cheryl - who split from Cole for good after discovering he'd cheated on her again - is now happily married to French restaurateur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.

Juliette Lewis is scared of love.
The 42-year-old singer-and-actress - who previously dated Brad Pitt and was married to skateboarder Steve Berra for four years until 2003 - worries about "letting someone in" to her life and getting her heart broken.
Asked what scares her, she said: "Oh man, love. The fear of letting someone in. I went through that recently."
The 'Jem and the Holograms' star is also afraid of crowds, but uses the gigs she plays with her band, The Licks, as a "therapeutic exercise" that forces her to confront the phobia.
She added: "Also, crowds. I have a huge fear of crowds. The irony is that my band is a therapeutic exercise. I hurl myself into thousands of people."
Juliette doesn't cope well with too many rules, and was terrified she would accidentally swear when she met Britain's Queen Elizabeth.
She told Elle magazine: "I met the Queen at one of her meet and greets. They told me not to cuss and I thought I was gonna have Tourette's and say, 'S**t, I forgot to say Your Majesty. Sorry!'
"If you give me too many rules, the rebel in me goes bananas."

Carrie Underwood has a "massive crush" on Sir Patrick Stewart.
The 'Smoke Break' hitmaker, who has has seven-month-old son Isaiah with husband Mike Fisher, admits she has always been attracted to the 75-year-old British actor.
She said: "I have a massive crush on Patrick Stewart. Always have, always will."
Carrie also hinted she's a fan of the sci-fi TV series 'Star Trek,' on which Patrick played Captain Jean-Luc Picard.
She told Us Weekly magazine's 25 fun facts column: "If I could have one superpower, I would choose the power of teleportation. Travel these days is so stressful. Beam me up, Scotty!"
While she strongly dislikes Valentine's Day, Carrie first met professional ice hockey player Mike "at a meet and greet" and their "first kiss was on New Year's Eve when the countdown ended."
Meanwhile, the country music singer admits she doesn't have very good eyesight, but won't do anything about it.
She said: "I can't see very well but I refuse to wear contacts or glasses, or go to the optometrist. I'm not sure why."
The blonde beauty also says she is "directionally challenged" and constantly gets lost, but considers herself a "doomsday preparer."
She added: "Make fun of me, but we'll see who survives the zombie apocalypse."

Kim Kardashian West says Caitlyn Jenner has shown her how to live "an authentic life."
The 35-year-old reality TV star posted a gushing tribute to the former Olympian, who was known as Bruce Jenner before undergoing gender transition in May, on Instagram in honour of her 66th birthday on Wednesday (28.10.15).
Alongside of a photograph of them enjoying a pre-birthday lunch, the pregnant 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star wrote: "Happy Birthday Caitlyn! Are you 66 or is Caitlyn 1? lol That was the debate at our bday lunch yesterday! Have the best day ever filled with lots of love & laughs! You have shown me what it's truly like to live an authentic life without caring what the world would think! I love you!"
Kim also dedicated another message to the 'I am Cait' star, who split from her mother Kris Jenner in 2013, on her website, writing: "What a brave soul! I'm happy you are living your authentic life! You are my Woman Crush Wednesday. Happy birthday!!!"
Her younger sister Khloé, 31, also posted a message on her own website, writing: "Happy birthday to one of the most inspirational people I know. It's your first birthday, and I couldn't be more thrilled for you to celebrate it style. Get glam, girl! (sic)"
Caitlyn thanked her fans for sending her their well wishes via social media by sharing a video montage of "66 special moments from this incredible year" via Flipgram.

Halle Berry has filed for divorce from Olivier Martinez again.
The 'Extant' actress, who announced her split from the French actor on Tuesday (27.10.15) after two years of marriage, submitted new court documents to dissolve their union for the second time this week using their real names following speculation her original petition, which was filed on Monday (26.10.15), could be ruled invalid because she used aliases and handed her estranged husband the legal papers herself, which is forbidden under Californian law.
It is not yet clear why the 49-year-old star felt it was necessary to file the papers again, as Olivier also submitted a petition of his own on Tuesday, but she lists their full names in the new documents, according to gossip website TMZ.com.
Meanwhile, a source claims the Oscar winner is "very sad" about their split, but ended their relationship due to his alleged "explosive temper."
The insider told PEOPLE magazine: "She is sad, very sad. This is never easy.
"Olivier has definite anger management issues. I think this was coming for a long time and [Berry was] not wanting to have to do this."
The friend also claims Olivier was "intimidated" by Halle because she "was the breadwinner," adding: "He was emasculated by her beauty and her power, and his temper could erupt."
The 'Texas Rising' star is seeking joint custody of their two-year-old son Maceo, while Halle wants what's in "the best interests of the child."

Ariel Winter thinks Sofia Vergara's upcoming bridal shower will be "very extravagant."
The 17-year-old actress can't wait to watch her 'Modern Family' co-star tie the knot with Joe Manganiello in Miami, Florida next month, and has no doubt the Colombian beauty, 43, will also enjoy all of the festivities leading up to their big day.
Asked about her bridal shower, she said: "It'll be very extravagant. She has amazing taste."
Ariel is relieved the couple have asked for donations to be made to charity of their choice in lieu of wedding gifts because she doesn't know what else to give them.
She told E! News: "I'm the worst at figuring out gifts, When I buy gifts I like them to have some meaning. I'm still asking myself what to get them. What do you get a couple who has everything? They're beautiful, they've found each other, they're rich!"
Ariel and Sofia's other co-star Julie Bowen recently claimed to have lots of ideas about what to get the actress for her bridal shower.
She told PEOPLE.com: "She has a beautiful new house. And maybe there's a charity she's into. Something for like, poor, unfortunate supermodels. She's very, very involved with charities back in Colombia for children and education so maybe if we raise money for them on set that will be a good thing."

Scott Disick plans to remain in rehab for 90 days.
The 32-year-old star has reportedly promised ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian, 36, and her mother, Kris Jenner, he will continue his treatment at the Cliffside Malibu in California until early January after they warned him they would fight his bid to gain joint custody of their children, Mason, five, Penelope, three, and Reign, 10 months, if he leaves the programme early.
A source close to the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star, who checked into the luxurious treatment centre more than two weeks ago after three brief attempts to seek help for his drug and alcohol issues in the past, said: "Kris and Kourtney have set the terms that he is to stay in treatment for a total of 90 days, with the option to do outpatient after one month.
"They told him that anything less is not acceptable and will prevent him from obtaining joint custody.
"He was left with no other choice. Kris also told him that all of his friends are enablers and he has to get rid of them if he wants to really get better. He knows that he needs to 86 all of his buddies from his life."
The Kardashian family matriarch, 59, brought Scott's three children to visit him at the facility this week and he plans to do everything he can to get his life back on track.
The insider told gossip website RadarOnline.com: "Scott is actually taking this seriously. He told the them all that he will do whatever they want him to do so that he can remain a full-time father to his children."

Khloé Kardashian finds Rob Kardashian's reclusiveness "infuriating."
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star's younger brother retreated from the public eye almost 18 months ago amid reports he is battling severe depression after gaining more than 100 pounds, and she admits she occasionally loses her patience with him.
Asked about the 28-year-old sock designer, the 31-year-old beauty said: "Rob is such a great guy. He's charming, charismatic, everything. That's what's so infuriating. I'm like, 'Where is your will to live life? Let's be around people!' "
But Khloé insists she understands that she needs to wait until Rob, who lives with her in Calabasas, California, is ready to seek help.
She told PEOPLE magazine: "I've been working on my patience. I've been really trying. But I have my moments and I do snap. I've offered to get a chef, I'm like, 'What's your excuse?' But it's not just that. I can't win life for Rob. I have to wait until [he's] ready to do it for himself."
Khloé believes Rob's suffering has a lot to do with the fact he "doesn't have a father figure in his life," as their dad Robert Kardashian died in 2003 from cancer and their mother Kris Jenner's ex-spouse Caitlyn Jenner transitioned into a woman in May and was going through her "own things that none of us understood at the time."
Rob once had a close relationship with Khloé's estranged husband Lamar Odom, whom she split from in December 2013, but she added: "Once Lamar left--and it's not Lamar's fault at all--I think Rob didn't know where to go. He was like, 'I don't have guidance anymore.' "
She added: "[Rob] has to figure it out for himself. And he has so many people who want to help him."
