Brad Pitt didn't get any special treatment from wife Angelina Jolie when they made 'By the Sea'.
The pair originally met on the set of 2005 movie 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith' and have teamed up once again on the upcoming drama. The film is also directed by Angelina, but Brad insists she didn't let him off the hook if he failed to deliver on any scenes.
Brad said: "Angelina knows very well, what she wants and I don't get any special treatment on set. As an actor you need a good relationship to the filmmaker to trust blindly and let yourself fall into it. We know each other so well, just one gaze from her and I know, I f****d up this scene."
The couple are parents to six children together - biological twins Vivienne and Knox and daughter Shiloh, and adopted children Maddox, Pax and Zahara.
Their professional and personal schedules keep them incredibly busy and Brad says the decision to star in 'By the Sea' together was a particularly practical one.
He added in the interview with Glamour Germany: "We talked about trying something very special for a couple of years. An independent project without much pressure, a family issue.
"It was a good idea for practical reasons. If one of us is working, the other one is taking care of the kids and we loose a lot of time together. I didn't think that working with her would mean so much to me - it's so much fun."
The movie, which tells the story of a couple battling to save their relationship, has so far received lacklustre reviews. But Brad is keen to work with his wife on screen again in the future.
He concluded: "I think that her career as a filmmaker is just starting. If she wants me for another job, I would certainly say one thing and that is, 'Yes'."

The 34-year-old beauty confessed: "I am finally getting married! We've been together about 12 years, so we've already done a marriage basically ... but now we're getting married I'm going to take his (Justin's) name and be Kimberly Scott. People keep saying to me, 'Oh well you can't do that!'. And I'm like, 'Really?' I think I can. I want us to be a family and I'd like to have his name."

Noel and Liam Gallagher won't be seeing each other over Christmas.
The brothers found fame in global conquering rock band Oasis together, but since the guitarist walked out on the band in August 2009 the siblings have had a tumultuous relationship.
Although Noel and Liam do now speak they are not are friendly enough terms to visit each other over the festive season with their respective children.
Speaking about his plans for Christmas during an interview, Noel was asked if he would be seeing Liam over the holidays, to which he replied: "No".
But the 48-year-old songwriter has faith he will find peace with his 43-year-old sibling at some point in the future.
In the chat for BBC Radio 2, he added: "It's difficult for people to understand that to be in a working relationship for 20 years with someone you're so close with is really difficult. And there's a whole mess that's gone on around it. But I've no doubt that, one day, it'll be all OK again."
Since Oasis disbanded, Noel has found success as a solo star with his project Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, while Liam broke up his post-Oasis band Beady Eye in October 2014.
There have been constant rumours this year that Oasis could be reforming. But Noel insists the chances of a reunion are less than one per cent.
He stated: "Leaving Oasis - that was a horrible night. I knew that it was going to be a decision that would follow me around - there's still not a day where I don't read something about us getting back together - so I knew what I was getting myself into. It was the right thing to do, definitely. What Oasis had in its future was to do bigger tours and generate more money, which is great. I wasn't planning on going solo, but it was such a mess that I was happier off doing that."

Azealia Banks is furious at the amount of racism in the beauty industry.
The 24-year-old pop star is famous for her expletive-ridden Twitter rants and certainly didn't hold back with her lengthy posts on Wednesday (09.12.15), insisting that black women's beautifying processes are not an indication of some underlying self-loathing as is sometimes implied.
Azealia tweeted: "Black women's beauty is a whole other ball game.
"It's also sickening that when it comes to beauty and fashion that black women get shamed for having a blond wig or nose-job.
"But white women can pump up their lips/asses, spray tan their lives away and no one is accusing them of self-hate ... (sic)."
The 'Chasing Time' singer then continued her posts to further complain about the shaming of black women for daring to use any beauty product other than shea butter or Luster's Pink Oil Moisturizer Hair Lotion - used to smooth out hair.
She added: "It's sickening how much shaming black women receive for wanting to do anything that doesn't involve pink lotion and shea butter. Damn.
"Yes I relax my hair ... no It doesn't mean I hate my hair ... Yes I bleach my knees/hands ... No it doesn't mean I hate myself LOL (sic)."
Azealia then changed her tone entirely and told her fans how she had been keeping herself happy over the past few days.
Using the hash tag "#ilovemyself", she wrote: "#ilovemyself the most when I remember to pour myself some ice water before I go to sleep and wake up mad parched and its on my nightstand!"
Controversially, Azealia also discussed her love of marijuana by adding: "#ilovemyself the most when I didn't smoke the whole joint and the other half is just sitting at home ready for me when I get there."

Amy Poehler and Tina Fey are like "sisters".
The two comediennes - who will star in a forthcoming flick aptly titled 'Sisters' together - have known each other for over two decades now, but 'Date Night' star Tina admitted if the 'Inside Out' actress was her actual sibling they wouldn't have the great bond and working relationship they've developed over the years.
Tina, 45, said: "If we had grown up as sisters it would be like, 'We can't both grow up and do this. We can't both be on 'Saturday Night Live', that would be weird.' That would have been messed up."
Discussing their bond, Amy, 44, told Stylist magazine: "We feel like sisters.
"We've known each other for over 20 years now and a lot about being a family is having those experiences and remembering someone from when you're trying to figure out who you're supposed to be. Tina and I met each other in Chicago in the mid-Nineties when we were on the path where we weren't quite sure what we were going to be."
Elsewhere, Amy - who has presented 'Saturday Night Live' and the Golden Globes to much-acclaim with her close pal - described her friendship with the brunette beauty as being able to jump off a bridge for one and other.
In her 2014 memoir 'Yes Please', Amy wrote: "Sometimes Tina is like a very talented bungee-jumping expert. All it takes is Tina to say, 'We can do this right?' and I feel like I can jump off a bridge."

Lionel Richie wants to perform at Glastonbury again in 2016 - as a special guest of his friend Diana Ross.
The 66-year-old singer delighted a huge crowd at the world famous music festival with his set on The Pyramid Stage on what has become the 'legends slot' on Sunday afternoon.
Lionel's long-time pal Diana has long been wanted to play the event and if she does finally take to the stage next year the musician wants to join the Motown legend on stage to perform their duet 'Endless Love'.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "Knowing Diana, she would love it. I say to her, 'Don't over think it, just do it', because she's got the songbook. I should come back on and do the duet two years running. Write that down, bro."
Lionel is still as successful as ever, and was recently reported to have agreed to team up with Adele to make music together. The reports of a collaboration began when Adele this year released her single 'Hello' - the title of which matches Lionel's own 1983 smash hit.
While Lionel insisted a duet won't be happening any time soon, he revealed he doesn't mind that Adele used the name of his own track.
Lionel added: "She's stealing the thunder but she's using the right word. I do own the word 'Hello' without actually owning it.
"So as soon as she said 'Hello', my phone rang. It's a great association. I'm just glad it's a hit so we have something to talk about for the next 10 years."

Jesse Tyler Ferguson has had a skin cancer removed.
The 'Modern Family' actor posted a picture on Instagram after undergoing surgery showing him recovering with a large bandage on the right side of his face.
Despite having a cancer scare, Jesse was able to make a joke about his treatment.
Jesse wrote alongside the photo: "Thank you to Dr. Bennett & his entire team for taking the cancer out of my face. Good luck hiding the stitches tomorrow @modernfamily_makeuphair! (sic)"
Jesse completed his caption by adding some hash tags referring to his red hair and pale skin: "#youwannaapieceofme (sic) #phantommask #spf75."
He didn't go into further detail about the nature of the cancer.
Jesse is sure to have been supported by his husband Justin Mikita through the difficult time.
Justin is no stranger to the disease himself, having been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma at the age of 13. The 29 year old is now free of the disease but still has check ups every year to ensure his health.
Jesse and Justin frequently attend charity events to raise money for cancer diagnosis and treatment.
As they spoke to reporters at the Stand Up To Cancer event in 2014, Jesse revealed he and his spouse are always there for each other throughout every battle in their lives.
Jesse told E! News: "He was diagnosed when he was 13 and that's sort of an age when you don't really realise what's going on. He goes in once a year for his check-up to make sure he's still cancer free so he's always reminded of it.
"I think it does touch him in a lot of ways. He's thrilled that I'm here and I'm definitely representing him."
