Liam Hemsworth and his brothers are incredibly "competitive".
The 'Hunger Games' star has revealed he "idolised" his older brothers, Chris and Luke, when they were growing up but says the siblings loved to get the upper hand over the others.
He said: "I was the youngest, so I was never really anywhere near their physicality. If they wanted to beat me up, they would. But I idolised them. As a kid, I followed them into anything and wanted to do whatever they were doing. And it was always competitive.
"I went and watched [Chris] on set one day and I clearly remember something snapping in my mind. It was like, 'Yeah, I want to do this.' It was definitely the goal. Before I even started working on 'Neighbours' in Australia, I was already thinking about Los Angeles."
The 25-year-old actor also opened up about the time he and Chris both went for the lead role in 'Thor' but insists there's no hard feelings between the pair because he believes everything happens for a reason.
He added to Men's Health magazine: "Marvel flew me out to screen test for it and it was down to me and four other guys. I spoke to my brother on the phone, and he was like, 'What?! I didn't even get called back!' And I was like, 'I'm probably just more of a man, you know.'
"I feel like that about every job I haven't got. I feel like if I don't get something, I'm not meant to, and there'll be another project that will be more right for me at that time."

The 20-year-old model had instigated a game of Truth or Dare so she could get close to her "biggest crush", but struggled to find privacy to lock lips with her classmate because her younger sister, Kylie Jenner, kept "spying" on them.
She revealed on her app: "The kiss was with a kid I had THE biggest crush on -- shout out to Chad Wilcox! I crushed on him for so long.
"We were at my mom's house and played Truth or Dare -- of course, the point of that was to kiss each other. 😉

The 29-year-old singer is finding it "really, really hard" to be away from her "phenomenal" 11-year-old son Julez - who she has with ex-husband Daniel Smith - but knows it's important she works hard to finish her new album.
She wrote on Instagram: "8 gigs, 8 studio sessions, 6 flights, in 2 weeks....but got to sleep in my bed for 2 nights
"While I was home Julez pulled out my chair for me at lunch, said he'd sell his Nintendo so I could get a dress I loved when we went stopped by a store, and said he sees Chinese symbols when he listens to Alice Coltrane. He's phenomenal and I'm in love with he and it's really really hard to be away.
"I cried this morning because this is the longest we've been apart and my insides kind of split in half when I headed to the airport, but I'm working really really hard to finish this damn album and so grateful to have his and my hubby's support.(sic)"
The 'Losing You' hitmaker - who is married to Alan Ferguson - admitted the pressures of being a working parent can be tough but her little boy makes it all worthwhile.
She continued: "I like to use IG to create and share a little color and laughter in my life, and to see the beauty and fun in things in the midst of a lot of hard ass work and sacrifice that goes along with it. Its just not fun to show the 18 hour studio days, even when I'm sick as hell, coughing all up on @audio_nino (sorry Nino) , and then getting up at 6am to tackle the 400 borriiinnng emails @johnbogaardand I exchange daily (sorry john, but you do make me lol for every 10 emails😉),while trying to balance running multiple businesses and still find time to dedicate to issues that are important to me.

Khloé Kardashian will host a new TV show in which people receive full body makeovers.
'Revenge Body with Khloé Kardashian' will see the reality TV star - who transformed her own body through exercise following her split from husband Lamar Odom - mentor heartbroken people as they under an internal and external transformation.
Speaking about the show, which will air on E!, the channel which also broadcasts 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' starring Khloé's family, she said: "Looking great is always the best revenge. It's so exciting to be able to mentor these people through their full-body makeovers and I can't wait to see the incredible results at their final reveals!"
The debut season of 'Revenge Body' will be comprised of six episodes, each featuring two people.
Khloé, 31, will serve as executive producer with Eli Frankel and Ryan Seacrest.
According to E!: "Whether (someone's) been dumped, lost their job, or are facing some of life's toughest challenges, Khloé will help motivate them to seek the ultimate revenge by receiving a true and total makeover."

Carrie Fisher thinks Daisy Ridley "carries" 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'.
The 59-year-old actress - who reprises her role as Princess Leia in the seventh installment of the sci-fi series - was very impressed by the 23-year-old newcomer, both on and off screen.
Discussing Daisy being the same age she was when the original 'Star Wars' movie was released in 1977, she said: "She isn't she's four years older than I was! But she's fantastic, she carries the whole film. She's a wonderful actress."
She jokingly added: "But she's an awful person and has some rather bad habits. It's not true, but it could be!"
Carrie attended the European premiere of the film with her dog Gary - who got to meet new droid BB-8 on the red carpet - and they were both very happy to be there.
Speaking at the event in London's Leicester Square on Wednesday (16.12.15) evening, she said: "It's been relaxing, there's a lot of people, and I have Gary with me. It's five stars for the dog.
"I get to speak a lot of people who are interested in this film. It was fun film, I'm here and I'm just going to do my thing."

Michelle Dockery paid an emotional tribute to her fiance John Dineen at his funeral earlier today (16.12.15).
The 'Downton Abbey' actress - who flew back from a promotional tour in the US to be with John before he died on Sunday (13.12.15) after a cancer battle - addressed the congregation and described her partner as "my friend, my King, my hero, my everything".
According to the Irish Independent newspaper, Michelle said: "Whether in his work or his personal life John was extremely loyal. It was clear that when John was in your corner he was there. I was honoured to know John. To love him and be loved by him. He was my friend, my King, my hero, my everything. We celebrate him, we honour him and we will miss him.
"John's charm was legendary. He could persuade anyone to do what he wanted in the least pushy way possible. Particularly the women.
"He had a presence that was electric when he came in to the room. He had a wicked sense of humour. He had a genuine interest in other people."
Michelle - who was introduced to John by her 'Downton Abbey' co-star Allen Leech - then sang John's favourite song - 'The Folks Who Live on the Hill' - from the altar.
The financial PR's funeral took place just one day before his 35th birthday and one day after Michelle turned 34.
A private cremation followed the mass.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's girlfriend has given birth to a baby girl.
The 'San Andreas' actor and his partner Lauren Hashian welcomed their daughter into the world earlier today (16.12.15) and the new arrival is said to be doing well.
An insider told E! News that Dwayne was "very emotional and excited" to see the baby for the first time, and he and Lauren are "beyond happy for this next chapter in their lives".
No details about the baby, including her name and weight, have yet been revealed.
Lauren was hoping the little one wasn't going to be as well-built as her partner.
She wrote on Instagram earlier this week: "Like Big Daddy says - Couldn't be prouder of all the kickass women she's going to have around her! And Men of course ;)..

The 'Joy' actor insists he has "stopping thinking about" being a sex symbol, but admits some days he thinks he's better looking than others.
