Beyonce’s solo celebration

Beyonce danced to her own new single at a Super Bowl afterparty.
The 34-year-old singer celebrated her triumphant performance at the NFL Championship Game halftime show - where she was a guest of main act Coldplay - yesterday (07.02.16) at SP2 in San Jose, California and DJ Diplo captured a number of videos of her strutting her stuff on the dancefloor to her track 'Formation'.
Diplo labelled one of his Snapchat videos 'Bey' and another 'redlobstet', believed to mean Red Lobster, a reference to the lyric in the single, which Beyonce surprise released on Saturday (06.02.16).
And the 37-year-old producer admitted getting to dance with the 'Drunk in Love' hitmaker at the party meant he was now "done with life" as the moment can't be topped.
He tweeted: "I was the only person on the dance floor .. Dj played lean on and Beyonce came and danced w me.. Done w life bye (sic)"
Beyonce admitted after her performance of 'Formation' at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, she was very "proud".
She said: "It felt great. It makes me proud."
And she hopes the song will have a positive impact on her fans' lives.
She said: "I wanted people to feel proud, and have love for themselves."

Sofia Vergara’s medical aid for drunk wedding guests

Sofia Vergara had a medical area at her wedding where guests could rehydrate after drinking too much.
The 'Modern Family' actress tied the knot with Joe Manganiello in Palm Beach, Florida, last November and ensured revellers could keep partying by ensuring there was an "IV station" set up to give people a pick-me-up from the alcohol.
Wedding guest and 'Modern Family' co-star Julie Bowen said: "It was crazy. You had to hydrate.
"They had a little ambulance truck, an IV station where you could go get IV hydration."
Shocked talk show host Ellen DeGeneres replied: "Like, literally a needle goes into your arm and they give you hydration? That's how much people were drinking?"
Julie confirmed: "Yes, I thought somebody had had a heart attack or there was an event, 'cause there was this first aid truck set up outside of the pool area where all the bungalows are. And there are people, sipping espresso, getting IV re-hydration.
"There is nothing, apparently, nothing you can do in three days that can't be undone by some IV re-hydration."
The 45-year-old actress admitted any "event" thrown by Sofia is always "insanity" because she parties so hard.
She added: "If you've ever been to a Sofia event, it's three days.
"It's like a slow-moving trolley: You jump on, you drink and you dance and then you jump off. You can't stay on the trolley for three days.
"It's a party train. It's insanity. And it's really fun."

Rebel Wilson propositioned by bartender

Rebel Wilson got propositioned by a bartender.
The 'Pitch Perfect' star insists being single and famous is "way harder" because she is never sure of people's intentions, and she is often shocked by some of the offers she receives.
She told Australian magazine Women's Day: "People think it's easy if you're a movie star, but it's way harder because you have people approaching you who aren't always sincere.
"Some people offer me one-night stands.
"I was at Chateau Marmont and the bartender was like, 'If you want, you can come back later...' Of course I said no!"
The 35-year-old actress has been single since splitting from Mickey Gooch Jr. in September after four months of dating, but she doesn't mind as she enjoys life alone.
She said: "I've been single most of my life.
"It's good to be an independent woman, to go after what you want, have fun and not feel like you have to be a couple to be able to do that."
And Rebel admitted that building a successful movie career means she doesn't always want to go out socialising and dating.
She said: "I guess to make it in movies a lot of people don't release how hard it is and often you're working 16 hours a day, six or seven days a week sometimes.
"Sometimes if I get a weekend off I just chill at home which is not the most sociable thing especially for a single girl."

Idris Elba: Change is coming to the Oscars

Idris Elba believes "change is coming" at the Oscars in the wake of this year's diversity row.
The 43-year-old actor is certain the Academy has taken notice of the complaints following the lack of diversity in the nominations list for the ceremony later this month and he is hopeful it won't happen again.
Speaking at the London Evening Standard's British Film Awards in the UK capital on Sunday night (07.02.16), Idris told BANG Showbiz: "The discussion that's going on about the Oscars is fantastic. A change is coming, definitely.
"I do believe it, otherwise I wouldn't be here. And I think everyone feels it, it's a big subject and there is more work to do."
Idris picked up Best Actor prize at the ceremony for his performance as a rebel war lord who trains child soldiers in 'Beasts of No Nation' - a film which features a cast of all black actors which was not named in one category at the Oscars.
As the controversy surrounding the Academy Awards rages on Hollywood stars such as Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith and director Spike Lee have vowed to not attend the ceremony which takes place on February 28.
However, some prominent names such as Dame Helen Mirren and '45 Years' actress Charlotte Rampling have defended the Academy for their nominations.
Helen, 70, believes Idris' performance in 'Beasts of No Nation' deserved an Oscar nod but he didn't get one because audiences were put off from seeing the movie because of its grim subject matter about violent civil war in West Africa.
She commented: "Idris Elba absolutely would have been nominated for an Oscar. He wasn't because not enough people saw, or wanted to see a film about child soldiers."
Although the Oscars ignored him, Idris did scoop two prizes at the Screen Actors Guild Awards last month in the Best Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture and Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role categories, something he was very proud of.
He said: "It was one of the biggest moments of my life. To be nominated by your peers. It's a great feeling.
"It was definitely a hard film to make, one of the hardest I've made actually. I enjoyed doing it, had a strong message ... I'm always keeping it original and stories come not from location but from a place of reality and that's what is important. In Africa there are so many stories to offer, so I'll probably be doing more films around that."

Elton John wanted a daughter

Sir Elton John wishes he had a daughter.
The 'Blue Wonderful' singer and husband David Furnish are already parents to sons Zachary, five, and Elijah, three, and though he is "grateful" to have the boys - who were born to the same surrogate - he regrets not having children earlier as he thinks he's left it too late to have a little girl as well.
Speaking on UK TV show 'Lorraine', he said: "I would love to have a little girl.
"I can truthfully say I wish I had done it earlier but we didn't, because I would love to have a little girl.
"But we have two great boys and we are so grateful for that and they make our life all worthwhile, it's all about them now."
Despite Elton's huge wealth, he insists he and David are trying to give their sons as "normal" a life as possible and won't be pushing them into following in his famous footsteps.
He said: "I'm not putting any pressure on them to do anything, they are not going to become showbiz kids, we don't dress them in designer clothes, they just have a normal background - and they are not from a normal background."
And Elton confessed that, despite his many years of stardom, his children remain grounded as they acknowledge his fame but ignore it.
He said: "We are a very privileged couple, we live an incredibly privileged life and so it's hard to keep their feet on the ground, but so far so good.
"They know what daddy does they know he's a singer but they are not that interested, they are more interested with their torches and their Lego."
However, being a parent does not make retirement appealing to the 68-year-old star, though he does want to cut down on his tour commitments.
Asked if he's ready to retire, he said: "No, no. I mean I do want to stop 'shclepping', I do. That's the hardest thing when you're touring - I was in the Far East before Christmas and Australia, [and] I had a ball, but I was away from my boys and it's hard.
"I'm going to stop travelling as much ... because you know it is about them and if you don't stop then what's the point in having children?"

Kris Jenner’s struggle to come to terms with Caitlyn

Kris Jenner found it "difficult" to come to terms with her ex-husband's transition.
The 60-year-old reality star is slowly coming to terms with the changes made by Caitlyn Jenner - who was known as Bruce during their marriage - and credits her faith in helping her accept the situation for the sake of their kids Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
She said: "I just have to let it go. And try to be tolerant.
"[With] prayer. God. You know, just trying to understand. It takes time.
"But time is a wonderful healer. And we have two children together. It's important for my kids to see our family strong and united."
The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star admitted she didn't have much experience with the transgender community until the former Olympian's gender reassignment last year.
She told the new issue of America's Harper's Bazaar magazine: "I never really thought about it before. And I'd never known anyone who was transgender. I didn't even know what the word meant.
"Because there's transgender and transsexual ... I just didn't know much about it. So...I definitely got a big education."
Meanwhile, Kris also spoke of her pride in "genius" son-in-law Kanye West, who has children North, two, and Saint, eight weeks, with her daughter Kim Kardashian West.
She said: "I couldn't be prouder. One thing people don't realise about him is, not only is he so beyond talented, but he's also a genius.
"And when he's here, he's so present. He's the best daddy, and the best husband. Kim is so lucky to have him."

Tom and Giovanna Fletcher plan to take placenta home

Tom and Giovanna Fletcher are planning to take home her placenta once she's given birth.
The couple are expecting their second child very soon - a sibling for 23-month-old son Buzz - and are making final preparations for the baby's arrival
McFly songwriter Tom has set aside a plastic tub to store the placental sack that the tot will have been carried in for nine months.
In a joint Instagram and Twitter post of him holding the container, he wrote: "You will never guess what this Tupperware box is for ... #placenta (sic)"
After drawing some comments telling him he was over-sharing, Tom tweeted: "OK it's probably a little early on a Monday for placenta related tweets. Sorry."
Although the musician didn't reveal what he and his wife have planned for the placenta, some new parents like to plant it with a flower or tree as a symbol of life, while many mothers turn the placenta into pills and take them to provide an energy boost while nursing, increase breast milk production and potentially prevent post-natal depression due to the nutrients that are packed in the sack.
Giovanna has also shared that she plans to have another hypnobirth birth - a type of labour-coping method which helps women have as natural a childbirth as possible, using self-hypnosis and breathing techniques to cope with the pain.
In her latest blog for Hellomagazine.com, she revealed: "As you may well know already, I had a fantastic hypnobirthing experience when I gave birth to Buzz. While I know no two labours are the same, I'm eager to be filled with the same positivity and calmness this time round. So Hollie De Cruz from London Hypnobirthing came over this weekend for a little top up session. It was so gorgeous. Me and Tom both fell asleep on the sofa - that's how relaxed we were."

Ryan Reynolds, Amy Schumer, star in Super Bowl ads

Ryan Reynolds, Seth Rogen, Amy Schumer and Paul Rudd were among the famous faces spotted during the Super Bowl ad breaks.
'Deadpool' actor Ryan played a number of versions of himself - including a construction worker, a dog walker
and a police officer - in a commercial for Hyundai, which highlighted the vehicle's auto-emergency braking system.
Meanwhile, Amy and Seth teamed up to lead the Bud Light political party, which aimed to unite the country in honour of beer.
Seth said: "We've got the biggest caucus in the country."
Amy replied: "But it's not too big, you can handle it."
Paul also had a cameo in the commercial, as well as reprising his tiny super hero role for a Coca-Cola 'Ant-Man Vs Hulk' advertisement.
Jeff Goldblum took a crane up the side of a New York apartment building in a controversial ad for Apartment.com, which some critics have deemed racist as it also featured Lil' Wayne cooking for former slave owner George Washington.
Amazon Echo produced an ad crammed with famous faces including Missy Elliott, Alec Baldwin, Dan Marino and Jason Schwartzman.
Other famous faces appearing during the commercial breaks of the NFL Championship Game yesterday (07.02.16), which saw the Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers, included Dame Helen Mirren, who was promoting Budweiser, Steven Tyler, who plugged skittles, and Drake and Steve Harvey for T-Mobile.

Taraji P Henson thought Maroon 5 played Super Bowl

Taraji P. Henson thought Maroon 5 performed the Super Bowl halftime show.
The 'Empire' actress got confused between the 'Moves Like Jagger' hitmakers and Coldplay - who actually provided the entertainment at the NFL Championship Game yesterday (07.02.16) - when she tweeted about how much she was enjoying their set.
She wrote: "YAAAAAAASSSSSS!!!! #maroon5 is life to me!!! #superbowl50#HappyCamper I am.(sic)"
After thousands of fans pointed out her error, Taraji - who was at the sporting spectacular at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California - deleted her tweet.
She posted instead: "Oooooooopppps. Lmao! (sic)"
But the 45-year-old star insisted she wasn't the only one who thought she was watching Maroon 5, as the fellow guests in her suite all agreed with her.
And Taraji also admitted when she first got messages about her tweet, she thought it was just people upset she hadn't praised Beyoncé, who, along with Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson, also joined the group on stage.
She told 'Entertainment Tonight': "Angie Martinez, Mary J. Blige, my cousins, my mother, my grandmother - everybody's texting me, 'change your post!'
"I [thought] they're mad because I didn't give homage to Beyoncé! I'm like, 'The Beyoncé post is coming!' Then I realised it was Coldplay."
The 'Curious Case of Benjamin Button' actress blamed the gaffe on mixing her drinks.
She said: "I don't know if you know how it goes down in the suites.
"They put a lot of drinks in there - Kool-Aid, lemonade, iced tea. I mixed it all and I sat there and I'm sitting with people who drank the Kool-Aid as well."
