Scarlett Moffatt reveals her NTA nerves

Scarlett Moffatt is worried about hosting the National Television Awards (NTAs).
The 26-year-old reality TV star has admitted to being anxious about presenting at the annual awards bash because of the unkind things she’s previously said about some of the celebrities on ‘Gogglebox’.
She confessed: "I’m a little bit nervous because I’ve done ‘Gogglebox’ for two and a half years and I don’t remember what I’ve said about them."
But in mitigation, Scarlett claims to have matured a lot she since first emerged as a star on the Channel 4 programme.
She told ‘The One Show’: "Don’t judge me, I was a lot younger when I started."
Among her many memorable quotes on ‘Googlebox’ were her comments on the contestants who appeared on ‘The Island with Bear Grylls’.
She said: "At university we used to drink our own wee all the time as dares – it’s nothing."
Scarlett tried to explain to ‘One Show’ host Matt Baker what she meant by her original statement, saying: "To survive [on ‘The Island’] they had to drink urine. For initiations for the hockey team we had to do some things.
"I got a tip-off we had to drink our own wee, so I just drank a lot of water that day so mine was really just like warm water."
However, Scarlett also admitted to being honoured at having been afforded the opportunity to host the NTAs, and revealed it will be her first-ever awards show.
The ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ winner said: "It’s unbelievable because I’ve never been to an awards ceremony.
"I was so overwhelmed. It’s so amazing.
"I love watching the NTAs and now I get to go backstage and find out all the gossip."
