Scarlett Moffatt has overcome her anxiety

Scarlett Moffatt has overcome her anxiety.
The former ‘Gogglebox’ star has been open about how she has struggled to deal with cruel body-shaming trolls in the past, but she has now made sure to focus on the positives in her life.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "If I’ve learnt anything, and if I can encourage others, I’d say try to focus and love the people that are loving you, rather than hate the people hating you.
"Otherwise you get into this cycle of negative thoughts. You have to try and blank it out. I always think, ‘I wouldn’t say that to people’.
"So then you have to think, what frame of mind are these people in? If anything, I just want to hug them all. They need a hug and you can’t please everyone."
The 28-year-old star explained she has turned to self-help books including ‘The Alchemist’, ‘F**k Anxiety’ and the works of Matt Haig in her battle against anxiety, and talking to her mum Betty has helped.
She added: "I think it was the volume of [abuse] that was overwhelming at first. But also with that you get lots of positive comments. So you just have to take the rough with the smooth."
Scarlett – who won ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ in 2016 – is now in the jungle ready to host spin-off show ‘Extra Camp’.
While things will be different this time round as Ant McPartlin has stepped away from co-hosting duties to focus on his recovery following a drink-driving conviction earlier this year, Scarlett has backed Holly Willoughby to do a fine job alongside Dec Donnelly.
She said: "I think we’re all going to miss Ant. That’s obvious, we all love him. But Holly is so professional and amazing at what she does.
"Like she says, she’s keeping the seat warm. I couldn’t think of anyone better and obviously Ant will be back next year."
