Scarlett Lee is launching a clothing line for ‘real women’

Scarlett Lee is launching a clothing line for "real women".
The ‘X Factor’ semi-finalist used to feel "embarrassed" about her weight in the past and that feeling has inspired her to create her own clothing line for "bigger girls".
Speaking to The Sun Online at the launch of the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland attraction in London, she said: "Launching a clothing line is something I’ve wanted to do for a number of years. Bigger girls out there don’t have a lot of choice and they often feel ashamed when they walk into a shop or online. I have struggled to find clothes to fit me in the past. I want to release the perfect clothing range for women who are real. I don’t want anyone to feel embarrassed, because I often have when I’ve been trying something on in front of my friends."
The 21-year-old singer has had a huge confidence boost from working with the styling team on ‘The X Factor’ as they have made her feel "so comfortable" with her outfits for the live shows.
She said: "I have felt so comfortable with the stylists during my ‘X Factor’ experience. If nothing fits me, they are fine about it. They never make me feel degraded or overweight. That’s how I want to make other people feel by releasing a clothing range."
Scarlett is in rehearsals for her performance on Saturday night (24.11.18) but she’s already started to think ahead to the final and she has been contemplating names that she could duet with.
She said: "My family are so, so proud of me. Every time my mum calls me, she cries. This experience is mad and to think I could duet with someone famous is amazing. We get to pick!
"I’d love Justin Bieber, but I’d be happy with Kermit the Frog! I’m just grateful to be here."
