Sasha Pieterse loses 37 lbs on Dancing with the Stars

Sasha Pieterse has lost almost 37 lbs from competing on ‘Dancing with the Stars’.
The 21-year-old actress was fourth celebrity to be booted off the American ballroom dance competition, but she loved every moment of her time on the show and is thrilled at the change in her figure.
Speaking about her weight loss in a video during her practice sessions, which was shown prior to her routine on Monday (16.10.17), the ‘Pretty Little Liars’ star said: "We’re halfway through the competition and I’ve lost 37 lbs. It really is magical.
"I’m feeling like me again. It’s not an easy road, but being able to focus on getting myself healthy again, and the fact that I’m seeing results, getting better is all I can ask for."
In September, Sasha confided in her partner Gleb Savchenko that she had gained nearly 70 lbs over two years due to her suffering with the hormone condition polycystic ovary syndrome.
Sasha is "glad" she has spoken out about the illness as it can "really affect" women "later in life".
She previously said: "I’m glad that people know and it really is about awareness and letting that sit for people who may have it and they don’t know. I really want women who have it to figure it out, because it really affects you later in life – it can lead to ovarian cancer, infertility, breast cancer and all kinds of things."
Sasha and dance partner Gleb Savchenko received 24 out of 30 for their rumba, which was performed to ‘The Little Mermaid’ song ‘Kiss The Girl’, but she was not bitter about being eliminated from the ABC series.
Speaking about her departure, she said: "It was incredible. I knew that it was going to be amazing, but it totally blew my expectations away. I have had such an incredible time and I love everybody here, so obviously this is a very sad moment for me, but I’m just so thankful. I’ve had an amazing experience, and I’m so happy I got to share my story."
