Sarah Jayne Dunn has given birth to a baby boy.
The former ‘Hollyoaks’ star and her boyfriend Jonathan Smith welcomed their little son – their first child together – into the world on Sunday (07.08.16).
Taking to her Instagram account on Tuesday (09.08.16), Sarah wrote: "Our gorgeous little man arrived safe & well on 7th August We’re in love @jonathn_smith (sic)"
The 34-year-old actress – who portrayed bolshie blonde bombshell Mandy Richardson in the Channel 4 soap on and off from 1996 to 2015 – announced that she and Jonathan were expecting a child back in March.
She’s been keeping fans updated with her pregnancy on her social networking sites over the past five months but seemingly grew impatient last week when she uploaded a photograph of her burgeoning baby bump.
She wrote: "BUMP!!!! This was a week ago, I’m not sure I can expand my belly anymore #pregnancy#thirdtrimester #38weeks (sic)."
She followed that up by telling fans she had turned to old wives tales – such as eating hot curry – to bring on labour.
Taking to her Twitter account last week, she tweeted: "Round 2 @mughli #getthisbabyout #hothotcurry (sic)."
