Sarah Ferguson supports ICU campaign

Sarah Ferguson is in Australia to support a $3.2 million fundraising campaign for an intensive care unit (ICU).
The Duchess of York visited the ICU at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney today (20.10.16), where she was given a tour of the critical care ward to see all the life-saving work the doctors and nurses do in the unit.
Sarah also had a look at some of the equipment in the medical facility which the campaign is hoping to raise money to replace.
The initiative is hoping to raise funds for new dialysis machines, critical care beds and bedside patient monitors.
She wrote on Twitter: "Loved seeing Sister Anthea, the amazing patients and staff @SVHSydney today. Looking forward to the #lifeball @scg tomorrow night #Australia"
On Friday (21.10.16), the duchess will be the guest of honour at the St Vincent’s Curran Foundation’s Life Ball, where the campaign will be officially launched.
A tweet on the hospital’s Twitter account recently read: "Very excited to be hosting @SarahTheDuchess today who is joining us in support of our #ICU fundraising campaign"
Sarah’s visit comes days after she posted a philosophical quote on Twitter calling for her fans to see a "mirror" in other people’s behaviour, a day after her 57th birthday.
She wrote: "#believe in yourself. See a #mirror in other people’s #behaviour…. #beautiful #sunset (sic)"
