Ruth Langsford will never let her husband Eamonn Holmes do ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The 58-year-old TV presenter – who was awarded an OBE in the New Year’s Honours list – has implied he would be up for entering the famous house but his wife has banned him.
While hosting ‘This Morning’ on Tuesday (02.01.18) – the day of the new series launch – Eamonn said: "She doesn’t allow me to do it."
To which Ruth – who recently competed in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – chirped: "No, I just think they’d have you in your pants snoring."
Eamonn also recently revealed he’s approached every year by bosses at Channel 5 about taking part in the reality TV show but he has to turn them down every single time because his spouse would be too embarrassed by his behaviour.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I know they do ask me in fairness. But Ruth doesn’t allow it. She is like I don’t want people to see you with your hair standing on end, working around in your underwear. She is very protective."
However, the blonde beauty shouldn’t have any concerns about what Eamonn might come out with on national television as the pair openly talk about their sex life regularly.
The couple – who have been married since 2010 but have been together for 20 years – gave fans an insight into their bedroom antics while presenting ‘This Morning’ recently.
The new series of CBB is set to kick off tonight and will see all-female cast head into the iconic house in commemoration of 100 years since women won the right to vote.
A statement from Channel 5 said: "Presented by Emma Willis, ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ will initially explore how the all-female housemates interact, from politicians to performing artists, as they enter the house first, ahead of the celebrity male housemates.
"Over the course of the series, as the male counterparts enter the house, the housemates will take part in a series of entertaining tasks and hidden experiments which will test their – and our – assumptions, challenge gender stereotypes and reveal fascinating truths about what it is to be a woman – and man – in the 21st century."
The line up is yet to be confirmed by Channel 5.
