Camilla fondly remembers her late brother Mark Shand

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall fondly remembered her late brother chasing her with a cricket bat when they were younger.
The Duchess honoured her brother, Mark Shand - fondly known as Shandy-Ba - at a memorial event at the late travel writer and conservationist's school, where they have dedicated an all-weather pitch to his memory.
Speaking at Saint Ronan's School in Hawkhurst, Kent, Camilla shared: "This is where his love of sport started, he adored cricket. I'm told he was very good-tempered, at home he had a foul temper and chased both me and my sister round the garden with his cricket bat - but it was all smiles again.
"Wherever Mark is today, he would be so proud what this all -weather pitch has been named after him. I think he would be rather surprised too because although he adored Saint Ronan's - and said it was the best school he'd ever been to - he didn't like school very much."
Mark tragically passed away on April 23, 2014 after he fell and hit his head outside the Rose Bar, inside the Gramercy Park Hotel in Manhattan, New York.
After his death, The Mark Shand Memorial Fund was established to raise money to save the Asian elephant.

Prince Andrew finds selfie trend ‘disconcerting’

Prince Andrew has admitted that he finds the selfie trend "disconcerting".
The Duke of York has admitted that he has struggled to adapt to the new technology phenomenon, which involves people constantly trying to take photographs with the royal family.
Talking to BBC Radio 1's Newsbeat, Prince Andrew said: "One finds that if you're walking along crowd of people, you're faced with iPad, not a face.
"But it's a live event. Why do you need to film a live event?
"It's disconcerting, not rude or anything, just disconcerting that this is the new reality."
His comments echo the thoughts of the US ambassador Matthew Barzun, who told Tatler magazine that the Queen isn't very comfortable with the selfie trend either.
Matthew - who met with the Queen at Buckingham Palace to present his credentials as a foreign ambassador - told the mag: "She was essentially saying 'I miss eye contact'."
However, Prince Andrew isn't totally unhappy with selfie - as long as he is in control of the camera.
In April, the 54-year-old Duke became the first member of the royal family to share a selfie of himself after he took a snap of himself and his guests at his Pitch @ Palace event in St James' Palace and posted it on Twitter.

Prince Andrew won’t join will.i.am in the recording studio

Prince Andrew has revealed that he hasn't "jammed" with will.i.am.
The Duke of York teamed up with the Black Eyed Peas rapper in July for the inspiring Digital Enterprise Award (iDEA) scheme which aims to help young business innovators.
But he was quick to note that their collaboration is strictly charitable because he hasn't joined the star in his recording studio, although the Duke hinted that he hasn't ruled it out.
Prince Andrew said: "I have not been to will.i.am's studio or jammed with him. Not yet anyway."
The royal also admitted that his daughter Princess Eugenie had to download a few of will.i.am's tracks to update his music collection.
Prince Andrew said: "He's now on my playlist, mostly because my youngest daughter put him on.
"I have a very eclectic listening habit. I have classical and, as it were, more modern music. I listen to it sometimes in the car, though mostly when I'm exercising."
Speaking about his charity scheme with will.i.am, the Duke added: "He's a major inspiration to a lot of young people from all sorts of backgrounds - not just because he's famous but he actually has something many others don't have, which is that he cares about giving back to his community.
"I have seen him do it - and it only takes about a sentence from him to change somebody's life."

Prince William and Prince Harry honour their late Mother Prince Diana

Prince William and Prince Harry have paid tribute to their late mother Diana, Princess of Wales.
The two royals have honoured their mother's charitable legacy in the foreword of a book which celebrates the 15th anniversary of the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Award - a charitable organisation that was set up in 1999 to support and encourage children and teenagers.
According to the Daily Mail newspaper, the princes wrote: "We believe, when encouraged and supported, that young people have the ability to change society for the better. We know that our mother - in whose memory this award was established - felt the same and would be proud of its achievements to date.
"Having met young people working with the charity in Newcastle and in London, we were struck in both cases by their deep and lasting sense of social responsibility.
"These young people were working hard to tackle the social issues that affected them - such as bullying or social exclusion - the Diana Award empowered them to do more."
The charity was established two years after Diana's tragic death in 1997. Since its inception the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Award has helped over 40,000 young people.
This year, Ellie Louise Harris-Beard was awarded the Diana Champion Fundraiser Award for setting up the charity Cords4Life.
After finding out that she was to be honoured, Ellie said: "I was quite shocked. I didn't know what to say. It's exciting."

Prince William asked nurse for advice

Prince William asked a nurse for advice on how to get Prince George to behave.
Sue Jones, a nurse who works for Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board, was presented an MBE by Prince William as part of the Queen's Birthday Honours List in June.
She has now revealed that the royal - who is currently expecting a second child with his wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge - asked for some advice on how to tame his son, Prince George.
Speaking to the South Wales Evening Post, Sue said: "I went to Windsor Castle to receive it from Prince William. Ii was delighted. He was so lovely.
"We had a good chat. He asked me about my work and even said, 'Perhaps you could give me some advice about getting my young son to do what he should do.
"I told him to treasure ever moment because he won't be a baby for very long."
Sue was being honoured in recognition of her work during the 2013 measles outbreak. The nurse organised an MMR vaccination programme for various schools in the Swansea and Neath Port Talbot areas, protecting hundreds of children from the virus.
With regard to her MBE, Sue added: "It was a real honour for me. I'm still shell-shocked. I was thrilled to have been nominated but to get it was absolutely fantastic."

According to the Daily Mail newspaper, the royal has preferred to stay at home with her mum, Carole Middleton and her first son, Prince George while she is feeling so poorly.
A source told the paper: "Kate is feeling so lousy that she just wanted to be with her family and out of the public view.

Kitty Spencer is ‘happy’ with Princess Diana comparisons

Lady Kitty Spencer is "happy" to be compared to her late aunt, Diana, Princess of Wales.
The 23-year-old blonde beauty is the daughter of Victoria Lockwood and the Earl of Spencer, Diana's younger brother.
Speaking of their striking resemblance, Lady Kitty told YOU magazine: I suppose people will always try to make comparisons.
"But, gosh, if you think that, then I am really happy."
She then admitted that her memories of her famous aunt are "hazy" but added that the ones that she does have are "happy".

"I'm British; my roots are here. Having said that, I was lucky to grow up in South Africa."
These days, she is busy with the charity Give Us Time, which works with holiday home owners to provide tired soldiers with a place to relax with their families.
She shared: "One soldier told me that their trip away had made such a difference to his marriage.
"A lot of charities focus on physical and emotional trauma, which is imperative, but for me, holding marriages and families together is paramount."
