Reese Witherspoon ‘not allowed’ to wake up son early

Reese Witherspoon is "not allowed" to talk to her son before 8am.
The 40-year-old actress has three children – Ava, 17, and Deacon, 13, from her previous marriage to Ryan Phillippe, and four-year-old Tennessee with current husband Jim Toth – and says her youngest son Tennessee who is the most temperamental in the mornings, as he needs "an hour of alone time".
She said: "You’re not allowed to talk to [Tennessee] before 8am.
"You can’t sit close to him either, he gets really mad. He needs like, an hour of alone time. He drags his toys and blankets into the room and sits there by himself."
And it’s a trait he might get from his mother too, as the ‘Sing’ star won’t let anyone call her before 8:15am as she’s always busy doing the school run.
She added: "People know not to call me before 8:15, because 8:15 is when everybody needs to either be on the bus or at school and then my whole life starts at 8:15."
The blonde beauty admits she has "rules" that her children have to follow, but she still finds herself constantly telling them to "clean up".
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: "We have rules around the house. I always say if you aren’t yelling at your kids you’re not spending enough time with them.
"[I’m] just telling everyone to clean up all the time."
The news comes after the ‘Legally Blonde’ actress recently revealed her children think she’s "cool" because she knows how to work picture-sharing app Snapchat.
She said: "At least I know how to work Snapchat. I think, you know, most moms don’t.
"[My kids] are like, ‘You actually know what Snapchat is and you’re actually sending us a lot of Snapchats.’ So, maybe that’s kind of a cool thing."
