Ray Quinn cuts Kieron Richardson’s hair

Ray Quinn cuts his ‘Hollyoaks’ co-star Kieron Richardson’s hair every week.
The pair need to have their tresses trimmed on a weekly basis for "continuity" purposes on the Channel 4 soap, and Ray – who plays Jonny Baxter – has been doing an "amazing job" snipping Kieron’s (Ste Hay) locks.
The 33-year-old star said: "A fun fact about Ray Quinn, and probably the most annoying fact about him, is that he’s so talented at everything.
"He can sing, he can dance, he can ice skate, he can act, and he can also do a neat fade with some scissors and a comb.
"He now does my weekly haircut … we have to get our hair cut every week because of continuity in the show.
"I was quite surprised when Ray told me he can cut hair and I don’t just let anybody cut my hair. He’s been cutting my hair and he’s done an amazing job."
Kieron and Ray are currently playing out a far-right radicalisation storyline, in which Ste has joined Jonny’s extremist gang, and the star is planning to take some holidays because he is going to be "busy" in the near future.
Speaking about his summer plans, Kieron said: "I was going to try and get some holidays in but because I know where the storyline is going and how busy we are going to be.
"I’ve been trying to do lots of weekends away in the spring.
"Without giving anything away, my summer is going to be based on radicalisation and whether Ste will be able to escape the far right."
Kieron recently revealed he was forced to quit social media due to an angry backlash over the hard-hitting plot.
He said: "I deleted my Twitter because people were hating on me and I was then trying to water down my performance as I didn’t want to offend people, but that is the wrong way to do it.
"I just got rid of it and now I go in every day and I do it to the best of my ability."
