Former ‘Hollyoaks’ star Rachel Shenton celebrated her Oscar win by making her speech in sign language.
The actress – who took home the Best Live Action Short Film accolade for ‘The Silent Child’ – revealed she promised her six-year-old co-star Maisie Sly she would do so.
Rachel explained: "Our movie is about a deaf child being born into a world of silence, it’s not exaggerated or sensationalised for the movie, this is happening."
