Queen Elizabeth’s Corgis have warmed to Meghan Markle

Queen Elizabeth’s Corgis have already taken a liking to Meghan Markle.
The former ‘Suits’ actress got engaged to Prince Harry earlier this month and the loved-up duo have revealed how the Queen’s beloved dogs have already warmed to Meghan, following a recent meeting with the British monarch.
During an interview with the BBC, Harry told his wife-to-be: "The Corgis took to you straight away. I’ve spent the last 33 years being barked at; this one walks in, absolutely nothing."
Meghan recalled meeting the Queen and her iconic pets with fondness.
The American star explained: "That’s true. Just laying on my feet during tea, it was very sweet."
The couple are poised to wed in the spring of 2018 and are set to live together at Nottingham Cottage in the grounds of Kensington Palace.
Meghan has revealed that one of her beloved dogs will be joining her in London, while her other pet will be staying with some of her friends on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.
The brunette beauty shared: "I have two dogs that I’ve had for quite a long time, both my rescue pups.
"One is now staying with very close friends and my other little guy is – yes he’s in the UK. He’s been here for a while."
Meanwhile, Prince Harry has admitted he fell in love with Meghan "incredibly quickly".
The flame-haired royal has disputed the suggestion that the duo – who started dating in mid-2016 – have moved too quickly, but he admitted to being enchanted by Meghan from the outset.
He explained: "I fell in love with Meghan so incredibly quickly … All the stars were aligned – everything was just perfect. It was this beautiful woman just sort of literally tripped and fell into my life – I fell into her life."
