Prince Harry’s ‘singing fear’

Prince Harry fears singing more than flying a helicopter in a war zone.
Gareth Malone believes the flame-haired prince isn’t a big fan of belting out a song because he is worried about looking "like an idiot", despite the former Apache helicopter pilot having no qualms about being in hostile areas.
The choirmaster said: "I think he’s chicken. Blokes seem to fear singing like nothing else. You can send Prince Harry in an Apache helicopter into a war zone and he’d probably fear that less.
"Maybe he just doesn’t want to look like an idiot."
Gareth recently met Harry when he was asked to form a choir for the royal’s Invictus Games – a Paralympics-style event created by Harry – but the broadcaster has admitted he was "emotionally drained" after the project.
He said: "It now ranks as my most favourite project ever, although it was my most difficult, too.
"It was just emotionally difficult. I was drained afterwards.
"The singers and I went through the wringer to create that song [‘Flesh and Blood’]. We had to bare our souls."
Despite finding the process tough, Gareth insists Harry was a "lovely guy" and he was pleased to see just how committed he is to his charity work.
Speaking to OK! magazine, he added: "He’s a lovely, lovely guy. Very easy to talk to and incredibly committed to these charitable causes. I’m not trying to flatter him, but he was exactly as you’d hope."
