Prince Harry is Britain’s favourite runner up

Prince Harry has been crowned Britain’s favourite runner up.
The 32-year-old royal – who was Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana’s second born child after Prince William – has been voted the nation’s most loved underdog after 30 per cent of the vote put him above the likes of retired tennis player Tim Henman and former England soccer star Steven Gerrard.
Harry was a favourite among 40 per cent of the ladies taking part in the recent survey of 2,000 Brits, which was conducted to celebrate the return of PizzaExpress’ much-loved Etna pizza, which is available exclusively on Deliveroo from today (20.09.16).
It was the battle of the flame-haired beings at the summit of the poll as Harry took the top spot followed by the red squirrel, which was runner up in life once again with 29 per cent of the vote.
Former British ski jumper Eddie the Eagle finished third with 24 per cent, while Tim Henman missed out on a place in the top two once again, much like his tennis career, with a fourth placed finish after 13 per cent of the vote.
Buzz Aldrin – the second man to ever walk on the moon – was fifth with 12 per cent, followed by a pre-2016 Leonardo DiCaprio, before he won an Oscar, with 11 per cent, and former ‘X Factor’ runner-up Olly Murs with 10 per cent.
Others to make the top 10 were Gerrard, who missed out on winning the Premier League with his beloved Liverpool, Susan Boyle, who was second in ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, and ‘Harry Potter’ character Neville Longbottom.
Deliveroo spokesperson Kate Thomas said: "Brits love an underdog – and so do we! At Deliveroo we’re all about awesome food – whether it’s the obvious favourite or something new that surprises people.
"The battle between the Etna and the Rustichella was fierce – and even though the Etna just lost out, there was so much love for it, we’re delighted to announce that it is back and available exclusively on our platform!"
The Etna pizza is available exclusively on Deliveroo.co.uk from today.
