According to the Daily Star newspaper, the pair may even decide to meet in the middle and head to Los Angeles to bring in 2017.
But the couple will not be together for Christmas.
The 32-year-old royal was spotted dropping Meghan, 35, off at London Heathrow Airport over the weekend where she flew back to Toronto, where she lives and films the US TV drama series.
The prince was spotted at the airport, where he was escorted by numerous protection officers.
Harry is expected to spend Christmas time with his grandmother Queen Elizabeth and the other royals, but his brother Prince William is set to spend such time with his in-laws this year.
William, his wife Duchess Catherine and their kids, Prince George, three, and 19-month-old Princess Charlotte will head over to her parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, for the festive celebration.
It will be the couple’s first Christmas away from Sandringham since George and Charlotte were born.
