Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to make ‘first official’ outing this week

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to make their "first official engagement" as an engaged couple on Friday (01.12.17).
The 33-year-old royal asked for the ‘Suits’ actress hand in marriage earlier this month, and the couple announced they are tying the knot at Windsor Castle in 2018 on Tuesday (28.11.17).
And just days after the couple publicly confirmed they were taking their romance to the next step, they will be heading out on their first official royal duty as soon to be husband and wife in Nottingham later this week.
Kensington Palace announced the news on Twitter. A post read: "Prince Harry and Ms. Markle will undertake their first official engagements together in Nottingham this Friday.(sic)."
And Harry – who has been dating his 36-year-old fiancee for over one year – is "looking forward" to introducing his lover to a community who are "very special" to him.
Another tweet read: "Prince Harry is looking forward to introducing Ms. Markle to a community that has become very special to him (sic)."
During their visit to the city in England’s Midlands region the pair will visit Terrence Higgins Trust World AIDs day charity fair, where they will meet with teams working with organisations that support people battling with the diseases.
Another post on the micro-blogging site read: "They will visit a Terrence Higgins Trust #worldAIDSday chairty fair where they will meet representatives of organisations supporting people living with HIV/AIDs (sic)."
Harry and Meghan’s forthcoming trip will also see them converse with staff and mentors from Nottingham Academy about the programme.
Another tweet read: "Prince Harry and Ms. Markle will speak to staff and mentors @NottinghamAcad about the Full Effect programme which is helping prevent young people from turning to violence and crime (sic)."
