Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attend Endeavour Fund Awards

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended the annual Endeavour Fund Awards in London on Thursday (01.02.18).
The royal pair – who are set to tie the knot later this year – attended their first awards ceremony as a couple last night as they braced the city’s unfortunate wet weather to celebrate the achievements of wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women who have taken part in sporting and adventure challenges over the past year.
The former ‘Suits’ actress, 36 – who was dressed in a black pantsuit – had a special role on the night as she took to the stage to present the Celebrating Excellence Award – the second prize of the night – alongside Neil Heritage.
She told the audience: "I’m truly privileged to be here."
However, the presentation didn’t go completely to plan as Neil struggled with the envelope and needed Meghan’s help.
The gong was dished out to Daniel Claricoates – who was previously awarded the Military Cross after multiple tours in Afghanistan – as he was recognised for climbing to the summits of the highest mountains in both Africa and Antarctica with the organisation 65 Degrees North.
He said: "I don’t really feel deserving. It’s like the other award I have the privilege to wear – it’s not my award."
Last year, Prince Harry, 33, attended the event with his brother Prince William, who is currently in Norway.
