Prince Charles’ second wedding to Duchess Camilla was originally set for April 8, 2005 but was delayed by one day so that the Duke of Cornwall – who was previously married to the late Princess Diana until their divorce on August 28, 1996 –
could represent Queen Elizabeth at the funeral of Pope John Paul II.
The couple’s civil ceremony saw Camilla in a cream silk chiffon style gown and a matching coat with a branch headpiece.
