Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla have started a five-day tour of Australia.
The heir to the British throne and his wife flew to Australia from New Zealand where they spent almost a week on the start of their royal visit down under.
They arrived in Adelaide from New Zealand on a Royal Australian Air Force 737 on Tuesday (10.11.15) and were met by the governor general, Sir Peter Cosgrove, the South Australian governor, Hieu Van Le, and the state premier, Jay Weatherill.
Their itinerary in South Australia includes a visit to the Barossa valley region to view community projects and a tour of the Seppeltsfield winery.
Camilla also had a roundtable on domestic violence with the Australian of the Year, Rosie Batty on her itinerary.
They will visit Canberra to meet Australia’s new prime minister, Malcolm Turnbull on Wednesday (11.11.15) and take part in Remembrance Day services at the Australian War Memorial, before travelling to Sydney later in the week.
This trip marks the 15th time Prince Charles has visited Australia.
