Pixie Lott sacrificing summer holiday for West End role

Pixie Lott and her boyfriend have missed out on a summer holiday because of her West End role.
The ‘All About Tonight’ hitmaker is currently starring in a stage version of Truman Capote’s classic novel ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ in the lead role of Holly Golightly, but her hectic schedule has made a summer holiday for the couple an impossibility, so the 25-year-old singer’s model boyfriend has had to find other things to occupy himself.
Speaking to the Evening Standard newspaper, Oliver said: "We’ve missed out on going on holiday this summer."
However, rather than wait around for his girlfriend – who is playing the role made famous by Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 film, – Oliver has got stuck into a number of projects, first of which is a charity bike ride from London to Paris.
He shared: "Well I’ve had to buy a bike. And then a good pair of shorts. I’ve never been a cyclist before but I’m really getting into it."
Oliver has since discovered that the activity is quite hazardous but feels lucky to have his father, who has taken part in Iron Man challenges, to help him out.
He said: "It’s quite dangerous – I’ve come off a few times already. My dad is doing it with me. He’s a keen triathlete and has done a few Iron Mans do I’ll see if I can keep up with him. It could be very embarrassing."
Oliver – who was scouted by a modelling agency at the age of 15 – will use the ride to raise money for the Royal British Legion and it’s not the only new thing he has been trying out.
He said: "I’m auditioning for a few TV shows and I’ve started up a men’s fashion website."
