Paul Walker’s daughter settles wrongful death lawsuit with Porsche

Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow Walker has settled a wrongful death lawsuit with Porsche nearly four years after her dad’s passing.
The ‘Fast and the Furious’ star was killed in a car crash in November 2013 aged 40 while a passenger in a Porsche Carrera GT driven by Roger Rodas – who also died – and the Hollywood star’s 18-year-old daughter has reached a resolution with the car giant for an unknown amount.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, Meadow reached an agreement with Porsche on October 16 with both parties requesting the wrongful death case be dismissed.
The terms of the resolution are confidential.
She sued the company in 2015, claiming her father had survived the crash initially but was burned alive because he was trapped by his seatbelt.
The lawsuit also claimed Porsche knew the Carrera GT "had a history of instability and control issues".
What’s more, the documents revealed Paul’s father, Paul William Walker III, has settled a separate lawsuit against Porsche.
In April 2016, Meadow – whose mother is Paul’s ex Rebecca Soteros – was awarded $10.1 million from Rodas’ estate.
The court found that Rodas was "partly to blame" for the accident and as a result Meadow was awarded the sum.
It was also agreed Rodas was "not directing the car through any particularly unsafe manoeuvres when it went out of control."
Law enforcement previously ruled the cause of the crash was speeding at rates between 80mph and 93mph.
The car careered off the road into a concrete lamp post and two trees and burst into flames.
