Paris Hilton and Chris Zylka’s relationship has been eight years in the making.
The 36-year-old socialite has revealed she actually first met the ‘Leftovers’ star – who she is now engaged to – nearly a decade ago when they "hooked up".
She said: "Chris and I actually met eight years ago and we hooked up back then. It was perfect timing last year to get together and become very serious, and now getting married. It’s amazing that Chris and I have been eight years in the making of our relationship. I feel so close to him and I love that we were friends before we even started dating because he’s the perfect man for me."
And Paris has "never felt like this in her life" about anybody.
She added to People magazine: "I’ve never felt like this in my life. I’ve never trusted anybody and, with him, he’s so loyal and so dedicated.
"He dedicates his life to me, he’s my best friend, my other half, my soul mate – there’s no one else like him in the world. He makes me smile and makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world every day I wake up."
Meanwhile, Paris previously admitted she was thrilled about her engagement to Chris and "immediately said yes" when he got down on one knee during their holiday in Aspen, Colorado during the new year.
She shared: "I am so excited to be engaged to the love of my life and my best friend. I have never felt so happy, safe and loved. He is perfect for me in every way and showed me that fairytales really do exist. I was so excited and surprised. I immediately said yes. The ring was so gorgeous and sparkling. I was shaking as I put it on. It is the most beautiful ring that I have ever seen."
Whilst Chris added: "Paris is the most beautiful and incredible woman both inside and out. I feel like the luckiest man in the world to be marrying my dream girl. I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together."
