Paloma Faith, George Ezra for BRITs performances

Paloma Faith, George Ezra and Royal Blood have joined the line-up for the BRITs 2015.

The three British acts have been announced as performers during the evening, joining the already announced Taylor Swift, Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran for the prestigious ceremony which aims to celebrate the best in British music.

In 2014, Royal Blood hit the headlines when they topped the UK album chart with their Mercury Prize nominated self-titled album, which quickly went on to become the fastest selling British rock debut LP in three years. Their performance at the annual event adds another huge show to their repertoire, having also played at MTV’s European Music Awards in November.

The event – which will be held at London’s O2 Arena on February 25 – will also see three-time BRIT Award nominee Paloma Faith return to the stage after collaborating with Cee-Lo Green at the 2011 ceremony, while George Ezra will be following his sold out UK tour with a special performance at the ceremony.

As well as the additions to the musical line-up, it has also been confirmed Laura Whitmore, Rickie Haywood-Williams and Melvin Odoom will host the official red carpet and backstage coverage for ITV2, while Ant and Dec will host the official show.

The BRIT Award nominations will be revealed tomorrow (15.01.15) at an exclusive event in central London called ‘The BRITs Are Coming’, which will be broadcast on ITV at 10.40pm and will feature performances from Jessie Ware, FKA Twigs, Clean Bandit and the 2015 Critics’ Choice winner James Bay.
