Billie Faiers gets engaged

Billie Faiers has got engaged.
'The Only Way is Essex' star, who is expecting her first child with Greg Shepherd, has revealed she will marry the ticket broker after he popped the question during a holiday in the Maldives last month.
Billie told Britain's OK! magazine: "He told me on the second night of our holiday that the hotel manager had arranged for us to watch the sunset on one of the sandbanks in the ocean.
"I had no idea he was going to propose! Even when we got there and I saw two chairs with a bottle of champagne, I didn't suspect a thing."
The 24-year-old reality star - who is 20 weeks pregnant - said yes straightaway even though she wasn't expecting the proposal.
She added: "I took one look at that ring and said yes. I really couldn't believe it. We'd spoken about marriage but I thought he'd wait until after the baby was born to propose."
Billie's proposal was made all the more special as Greg popped the question with a stunning diamond ring he had made especially for her.
She said: "He got it designed especially for me by a jeweller in Hatton Garden. The centre diamond is so big. It's a five-carat stone with two smaller diamonds either side of a platinum band. I couldn't be happier with it."

Ant McPartlin chops thumb off on vegetable slicer

Ant McPartlin was rushed to hospital after chopping his thumb off.
The 'Britain's Got Talent' host sought medical help at the emergency department after he caught his right thumb in a vegetable slicer while practising cutting a potato on his new gadget, called a mandoline.
He said: "I knew that to get the potatoes thin enough I'd need the proper tool but had no idea how to use one. On the Saturday night I decided to practise with it so I got one potato and gave it a go. It was a complete disaster. I ended up slicing the top of my thumb off. God, it was painful."
However, medics were unable to stitch the tip of his thumb back on and the best they could do was clean it up and wrap it in a bandage.
He explained to The Sun newspaper: "I was hoping they'd just be able to sew the tip back in and I'd be fine."
Despite his kitchen blunder, the 38-year-old star had another go at perfecting his slicing skills the next day and managed to pull off a delicious roast dinner for his wife Lisa, 37, his sidekick Dec Donnelly, 38, and Dec's girlfriend Ali Astall, 34.
Ant said: "I still got the meal on the table."

Sharon Stone hated curves

Sharon Stone "wanted to die" when she put on weight in her 20s.
The 55-year-old actress gained 45lbs as a side effect from medication she was given after an accident and admitted she hated the attention her newly-curvaceous figure received from men.
She said: "When I was 20, after my horseback-riding accident, I was given cortisone shots and I gained a lot of weight from that, like 45 pounds.
"I looked a little like Anna Nicole Smith, with a tiny waist, big boobs, and a big butt. Everywhere I went, men went insane over my va-va-voom body. I just wanted to die and I became an introvert."
The 'Alpha Dog' actress - who has three adopted sons, Roan, 13, Laird, eight, and Quinn, seven - also admitted she has struggled with getting older and has "cried and cried" over the way she has changed with time.
She told the new edition of Shape magazine: "There was a point in my 40s when I went into the bathroom with a bottle of wine, locked the door, and said, 'I'm not coming out until I can totally accept the way I look right now.'
"I examined my face in the magnifying mirror, and I looked at my body, and I cried and cried and cried . . . I thought, 'I'd like to age like a dancer.' I want to keep my body in shape like that."

J.K. Rowling to release second novel under pen name

J.K. Rowling is set to release her second novel under the pen name Robert Galbraith.
The 'Harry Potter' author wrote her first novel, 'The Cuckoo's Calling', under the alias last year and she's now working on a sequel to the bestselling crime novel, called 'Silkworm', which will be released later this year, according to publishers.
The 48-year-old writer had aimed to keep her crime writing venture a secret but her solicitor at the time revealed her pen name to the public and has since been fined and ordered to pay Rowling damages - which she donated to charity.
'Silkworm' will be the author's third book for adults, as she also released 'Casual Vacancy' under her real name in 2012.
Her newest crime story will feature private detective Cormoran Strike - who first appeared in 'The Cuckoo's Calling' - and he, along with his assistant Robin Ellacott, will unravel the death of writer Owen Quine after being hired by his wife to investigate his disappearance.
Rowling's publisher describes the novel as "a compulsively readable crime novel with twists at every turn."
The Scottish writer recently caused controversy by admitting she wasn't sure she was happy with the way in which she ended the final 'Harry Potter' book, and suggested she thought she should've written the ending so that Harry ended up with Hermione Granger rather than his best friend Ron Weasley, who married her instead.

Bradley Cooper: Suki Waterhouse is the one

Bradley Cooper says Suki Waterhouse is "the one".
The 39-year-old actor - who has dated actresses Zoe Saldana and Renee Zellweger and was previously married to Jennifer Esposito - hit it off with the 22-year-old model after they met at the ELLE Style Awards last February and he thinks the blonde beauty is perfect for him.
He said: "She's wonderful, the one for me. It feels great."
Bradley's mum Gloria is "backing" the couple - who were seen cosying up to one another at the EE BAFTA Awards at the Royal Opera House in London's Covent Garden on Sunday (16.02.14) - to get married and her initial worries about their age gap have "vanished".
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Gloria's been really won over by Suki.
"She's backing Bradley all the way if he wants to tie the knot with her.
"She thinks Suki is great for him and, although initially a little concerned about the 17-year age gap, that vanished as soon as she saw them together."
Bradley is eager to settle down and start a family with Suki but she has confided in her best friends Cara Delevingne and Georgia May Jagger that she is worried she is too young.
A source previously said: "Suki's been texting Cara saying that Bradley wants a wedding before he's 40, but she's worried she's still too young, even though she's besotted with him.
"Cara and Georgia May [Jagger] have told her to go with it and let it happen."

Sir Paul McCartney to receive NME Songwriter’s Songwriter award

Sir Paul McCartney is to receive the Songwriter's Songwriter NME award.
The 71-year-old singer has been honoured the one-off accolade after being recognised by his fellow musicians for his outstanding contribution to pop music and his lasting impact on the industry.
NME editor Mike Williams said: "We've spoken to the biggest and best musicians around, and they've told us, 'Paul McCartney is the world's ultimate songwriter'. Paul's enduring and stunning talent is worth celebrating, and I'm incredibly honoured that NME are giving him the special, one-of-its-kind Songwriter's Songwriter award to recognise that."
The Beatles legend will pick up his award at the NME awards on February 26, 2014, at the O2 Academy in Brixton, London.
McCartney is the third winner to be announced so far, as Damon Albarn is to pick up the new Innovation award, while Blondie has been named this year's Godlike Genius.
Fans have been casting votes across 20 categories for this year's awards, and the Arctic Monkeys currently stand in the lead with eight nominations, Haim follow closely with six, while Queens of The Stone Age, Lily Allen and Arcade Fire all have three nods.
Blondie have been confirmed to perform at the ceremony and other artists will be announced shortly.
The event is being sponsored by the city of Austin in Texas.

Kurt Russell won’t appear in The Expendables

Kurt Russell won't appear in any of 'The Expendables' films.
The 51-year-old actor admits, although he admires Sylvester Stallone's work on the film series, he won't be appearing in any future installments alongside stars such as Jason Statham and Jet Li.
He said: "I'm glad Sly's done well with this. He's a great person. The fellas all seem to have a good time. I've never seen any of them [the films]. It's not a beat I get. It's like looking backwards to me."
The 'Death Proof' actor went on to speak about 'The Fast and Furious', and admitted that although its been assumed he would play a father figure to the late Paul Walker's character in 'Fast & Furious 7' he's revealed things may not be as clear cut as that.
Speaking to IGN, he said: "The character I play is presented as one thing, but you have a big suspicion that he's another. It's really the family around Vin [Diesel] that's going to be suspecting, 'Why is he involved with this guy?'"
Russell also said that he's intrigued by the franchise and thinks it's fascinating that it can appeal to such a diverse audience.
He added: "There's something about 'Fast & Furious'. It has that mystery to me - and it's for a funny audience, you know? It's for a 15 to... 30? I think now you can take that from 15 to 45, and I think that's what's interesting about that."
'Fast & Furious 7' is currently still under production and will be released in UK and US cinemas on the April 10, 2015.

Oprah Winfrey wants 50 Shades of Grey to be ‘filthy’

Oprah Winfrey hopes 'Fifty Shades of Grey' will be sexy.
The talk show host wants the movie adaptation - starring her pal Rita Ora - to be "filthier" than E.L. James' erotic novel and she hopes there will be large amount of explicit action shown on screen.
She told The Sun newspaper: "I know Rita and I know 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' - and I just can't wait for the movie.
"I've read the book and I just hope the movie is filthier than the book. Less talking, more action!"
Meanwhile, Dakota Johnson previously admitted the film is set to be so raunchy that she hasn't discussed the intricacies of her role as Anastasia Steele - who gets entangled in an S&M relationship with kinky businessman Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) - with her family.
Dakota - who will have to strip off naked for the part and engaged in very explicit scenes - blushed: "I think that I would love to have [my parents] experience it with me, but I can't really do that, just because of what it entails. I talk to them more about problems with my landlords. That's my talking point with my family."
The book trilogy has been dubbed "mummy porn" by the media due to its popularity with middle-aged women.

Big Reunion’s 5th Story bonded in shower

'The Big Reunion's 5th Story bonded by showering together.
Gareth Gates - who is in the band with Dane Bowers, Adam Rickitt, Kavana and Blazin' Squad's Kenzie - has joked the five-piece super-group, who formed for the new series of the ITV2 show, got to know each other in a rather intimate situation.
He quipped: "We went to a spa, didn't we ... we had a shower together."
Meanwhile, Gareth's bandmate Kenzie has admitted that his former 'Crossroads' cohorts Blazin' Squad have had some issues with him signing up for the show without them.
He said: "It wasn't great when it was announced; it wasn't the way I really wanted them to find out. Some of them haven't taken to it too kindly.
"I didn't want to do it with my former band, it worked when it worked. This is current now, I like being with the old boys."
Another Level star Dane admits he was initially going to join the show with his former band, but one of the members couldn't commit to the show and a spin-off tour.
He told The Huffington Post UK: "I just thought it would make great TV. I was going to do this with Another Level at first. One of the guys couldn't see how he could fit it in and it's a shame, I was gutted. But I've enjoyed this so much."

Paul Barber: Trigger needs to be part of Only Fools and Horses comeback

Paul Barber believes any new 'Only Fools and Horses' episode must deal with the real-life death of Roger Lloyd-Pack.
The 62-year-old actor plays Denzil in the classic sitcom and although he is excited about the rumours there could be a new instalment he believes the show can't be the same following the passing of Roger, who portrayed dimwitted cleaner Trigger, in January.
Paul insists Trigger's absence must be a key part of the plot in any comeback show.
When asked if it would be hard to bring the comedy back without Roger, Paul told BANG Showbiz: "Exactly, yeah. If they do bring it back, you're going to have to be showing Roger in flashbacks. The scenario could be that you have all the surviving cast members sitting in the Nag's Head and everybody is reminiscing about Trigger and it cuts to famous scenes.
"Personally, I think it would be hard for a lot of the actors because anybody who's worked with Roger knew how talented he was. You know, he was classically trained, he could do Shakespeare. It was always a buzz going into rehearsals knowing that Roger was in the scene. I used to love doing my scenes with Roger. Anybody who's ever worked with Roger looked forward to it because you just never knew how he was going to deliver his line."
The actor - who can be seen playing Captain Jack in the next episode of 'Death In Paradise' - is definitely up for reprising his role as Denzil again.
However, Paul insists he is always the last to know if there is going to be another 'Only Fools and Horses' and only found out that Sir David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst had reprised their roles as Del Boy and Rodney for an upcoming Sport Relief sketch with David Beckham when he saw it on TV.
He said: "I didn't even know about the 'Sport Relief' sketch with Beckham until I saw a photo on the news. I am always the last one to know about 'Fools and Horses', whether we're going again or another special or anything else. It's just like Denzel's character, I'm always being stitched up, you know what I mean? One time I was in a taxi in London somewhere and the taxi driver said to me, 'Oh so you're going to be doing more 'Only Fools and Horses' then.' And I said, 'I don't know.' By the time I got home that day there was a message on my answering machine from my manager saying, 'Get down to Bristol we're going again.'
He jokingly added: "But you know, we've made so many comebacks we're beginning to sound like Frank Sinatra!"
'Death In Paradise' continues on Tuesday 18 February at 9pm on BBC One.

Simon Cowell’s son has London-based nursey

Simon Cowell has painted the skyline of London across his son's nursery.
The 54-year-old music mogul has had famous landmarks - including the London Eye, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament - splashed across the walls of his first child Eric's bedroom because he's keen for the tiny tot to grow up knowing his British heritage.
Eric - who was born on Friday (14.02.14) in New York - will be spending a lot of time in the US as his mother Lauren Silverman is American, but he'll also have a home in the UK too.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Simon is a true Brit and wants to make sure Eric grows up knowing he has a home in the UK as much as the States."
The couple are considering sending Eric to a school in the UK as the 'X Factor' boss is adamant his son will speak with an English accent, rather than an American one, and they want him to be around his godmother Sinitta and grandmother Julie, who reside in England.
The source explained: "Simon has made no secret that he would like Eric to have an English accent, rather than an American one. The lad's granny, Julie, lives in England as do lots of Simon's friends, including Sinitta.
"There is also talk about sending Eric to school in the UK."
The proud parents took the newborn home from hospital on Sunday (16.02.14), but Simon is expected to return to the UK later this week for the 'Britain's Got Talent' auditions.

Kelly Brook splits from boyfriend

Kelly Brook has reportedly split from her boyfriend.
The 34-year-old star has been inseparable from David McIntosh - who appeared as Tornado on the UK TV game show 'Gladiators' in 2008 - recently, but she's reportedly dumped him after just six weeks of dating because she believed he was only with her for the fame.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Kelly got tired of the relationship and David trying to hog the limelight.
"She realised he was enjoying the fame a bit too much and wasn't as serious about her as she thought. Kelly decided it was better to end things now than carry on."
The busty brunette deleted all the photographs of them together from her Instagram account last night (17.02.14) but, so far, the former Royal Marines commando has kept the loved-up snaps on his page.
Kelly and David, 27, struck up a romance last month after meeting each other at a New Year's Eve party at her bar, the Steam and Rye, in London, and the pair have since been showing off their new relationship at a number of star-studded events.
It is believed the hunky Iraq war veteran is Kelly's first boyfriend since she ended her seven-month relationship with Danny Cipriani, whom she had been in an on/off relationship with since 2008, last August after he allegedly cheated on her.
