Jennifer Lawrence unchanged by fame

Nicholas Hoult says fame hasn't changed Jennifer Lawrence.
The British star first started dating the 'American Hustle' actress in 2011 and has known her through her Oscar win for Best actress last year and a further nomination this year, and says despite all the accolades, she's still the same person.
He told VMan magazine: "The privacy thing obviously changes but the rest pretty much stays the same.
"It's like that thing whereby you don't believe your own hype. Enjoy the good times, but don't get swept away with it. And I think that's something she's capable of doing and that's what makes her special, but yeah, it is very odd, and I am just kind of a bystander in many ways.
"It is well-deserved for her. I haven't really seen any change in her."
Nicholas, 24, first met Jennifer on the set of 'X-Men: First Class' in 2011 and after a break in early 2013 they got back together when they were filming forthcoming sequel 'X-Men: Days of Future Past', which he says was a great experience because it meant they were able to spend plenty of quality time together.
He added: "It's fun because in this business you are away from one another for long periods of time, so when you're on set together it's a brilliant thing, because you actually get to spend time together. Especially with this film, I got to spend time with her."

U2 album won’t be released until 2015

U2 won't release a new album until next year.
Although the band have performed live - appearing at The Oscars, The Golden Globes and on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' - and debuted two new tracks, 'Ordinary Love' and 'Invisible', they are still trying to perfect songs for their new album.
A source told Billboard magazine: "It seems to be taking longer for them to finish an album as they get older, but the great thing about U2 is that the whole of a record is always better than the sum of its parts.
"That magic that the band always seems to capture ... they have yet to capture it."
The album is being helmed by executive producer Danger Mouse and U2 - Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen - have scheduled further sessions with producers Ryan Tedder and Paul Epworth to complete the as-yet-untitled record.
Bono, 53, has previously said he is conscious of the band's age and having something to say on their 13th studio album.
He explained: "We're on the verge of irrelevance. You have to make stuff relevant to you and where you're at, make an honest account of what you're going through. If that's relevant to other people, great. But we don't know."
The singer also spoke about the inspiration behind the album, saying it goes back to when the group first got together in 1976.
He added: "We went back to why we wanted to be in a band in the first place. We were listening to the Ramones and Kraftwerk - you can hear both on 'Invisible'. It opened up a whole valve for me writing, it was like a damburst of sorts."

Justin Bieber’s mother wants more children

Justin Bieber's mother wants more kids.
The 20-year-old superstar's is the only child of Pattie Mallette - who raised him as a single parent after she and Justin's father split when he was 10 months old - but now she's beginning to get broody again
Pattie, 37, posted a picture of her holding a friend's baby and wrote: "A baby looks good on me eh? (Yep still Canadian). #iwantmorekids! (sic)"
It is not known if Pattie is dating anyone at the moment, although she has had a busy few months after Justin's behaviour started getting him into trouble. She flew to Panama for an emergency meeting with the 'Confident' singer alongside his manager, Scooter Braun, in January, after his arrest in Miami for allegedly having an expired license and resisting arrest. This came weeks after his home in Calabasas, California, was raided by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, following the egging of neighbour's property. Days after his Panama break, Justin also flew to Toronto where he was charged with allegedly hitting a limo driver over the Christmas period.
Justin's father, Jeremy, has grown a strong bond with his son in recent years and was with him when he was arrested in Miami. After splitting from Pattie, he went on to marry Erin Bieber, with whom he has two children, Jazmyn, five, and Jaxon, four.

Dermot O’Leary fascinated by space

Dermot O'Leary is incredibly excited to be working with an astrophysicist for Channel 4's 'Live from Space' season.
'The X Factor' host will take viewers on an incredible journey around the world in 90 minutes, and while the series may be a dramatic change from his most famous role, Dermot says accepting the opportunity seemed like a no-brainer.
He told BANG Showbiz: "When I took the gig, a mate of mine was like, 'I didn't know you were curious about space?' And my take on it was, I don't know anyone who isn't curious about space? It just seems such a natural thing to do."
When Dermot was given the opportunity to watch the International Space Station pass over St Paul's Cathedral in London he found it almost impossible to comprehend the speed at which it was travelling.
He explained: "I just thought I wonder where it is now, and I thought in my head it'd be like Ipswich or the Netherlands and it was over the Bay of Bengal or somewhere like that. I mean it's extraordinary, it goes so many times faster than the speed of a bullet."
Channel 4's 'Live from Space' season kicks off next Wednesday (12.03.14) with two fascinating hour-long documentaries, 'Astronauts: Living in Space' and 'Astronauts: Houston We Have a Problem'. These shows aim to reveal life as it is for the people living and working on the International Space Station, the challenges they face and the day-to-day experiences they have.
The series of programmes will conclude on Sunday 16 March with 'Live from Space: Lap of the Planet', a major interactive television event centred around a live two-and-a-half hour broadcast from the ISS and Mission Control in Houston as the ISS completes an entire orbit of the earth.

Jamie Dornan learns to walk heel to toe

Jamie Dornan says filming '50 Shades of Grey' has improved his walking.
The 31-year-old actor has been cast as sadomasochistic millionaire Christian Grey in the film adaptation of E L James' erotic novel and had to shoot a ballroom dancing scene which inadvertently made his day-to-day posture better.
He explained: "So basically, I've always had a complex with the way I walk. I've not always been told I've got a bad walk, but someone's always commented on my walk. It's always been a bit like, 'All right. That's how you walk?'
"My wife tried to help by making me lean back and then in 'Fifty Shades...' my character has to dance the foxtrot and the teacher said, 'Do it as though you are walking, heel to toe.'
"No one had ever told me that. I was always toe-to-more-toe! Now I just apply that every day, when I'm walking around."
Jamie - who is married to Amelia Warner - insists the movie will be a success even if just a small percent of those who read the book enjoy the film.
Talking on 'The Graham Norton Show', he said: "I mean, look, we're in a really powerful position that 90-plus million people have read the book so if like a third - I mean, a hundredth of those people - that's successful if they go see the film.
"It's a nice position to be in, but I have no idea what it's going to do."
Jamie stars opposite Dakota Johnson, who plays Christian's lover Anastasia Steele, in the movie.

Katie Holmes praises inspirational mother

Katie Holmes' mother is her inspiration.
The 35-year-old actress credits her supportive mum Kathleen for influencing her own parenting style with her seven-year-old daughter Suri, and says she has always admired her homemaking skills.
Speaking in the new issue of ELLE magazine, Katie said: "She's an amazing woman. She's very creative and loving. She still sends us all care packages - things she sees when she's out that make her think of one of us. She'll send it with a beautiful card, great wrapping and ribbons. She makes everything just perfect."
The former 'Dawson's Creek' star worries about Suri - whose father is her ex-husband Tom Cruise - growing up in today's society because of the external influences they are exposed to, especially on the internet.
Katie ensures she always protects her child and lets the youngster know she is loved very much as often as possible.
She mused: "Children are exposed to so much more than we were. I suppose every generation goes through that feeling, 'Oh my god, it's so different from how I grew up.' I think the basics are very important: the number one thing is making sure my child feels loved. And that what she does and who she is, is special and important, and should be celebrated. And my mom always said, 'No one loves you like your mother'."

Sir Richard Branson can’t wait for Lady Gaga’s space outfit

Sir Richard Branson insists Lady Gaga will find a "pretty good" costume for her performance in space.
The 63-year-old businessman admitted the 'Born This Way' hitmaker -who is set to sing outside of the Earth's atmosphere following the launch of his Virgin Galactic commercial space flights next year - is yet to come to him with concept ideas but is looking forward to the forthcoming project, which will cost $250,000 per seat.
Quizzed about whether he's excited about sending Gaga into space, he said: "Of course, yeah. It is going to be most exciting thing I have done in my life - just the whole space programme, which I already am a few months off.
"I got a feeling she'll [Gaga] find one [costume] which is pretty good."
Richard is a huge fan of Peter Gabriel, who was catapulted into the spotlight in the late 60s as part of rock band Genesis, but admits he tries not to constantly reminisce about the former generation of music.
Talking at the WE Day UK Event at London's Wembley Arena on Friday (07.03.14), he told BANG Showbiz: "I always avoid the older person saying the music of the next generation is not as good as their generation but I was very lucky I did live in the time of great bands but I'm sure the music's just as good."
Ellie Goulding, Prince Harry's girlfriend Cressida Bonas, Jennifer Hudson and former 'X Factor' UK contestants joined Richard on the red carpet for the event, which promotes global youth empowerment.

Oprah Winfrey gives dress to Twitter fan

Oprah Winfrey gave a dress away to a Twitter follower for her wedding.
The generous talk show host made a fan's dreams come true after gifting her the lavish white dress she wore on the cover of Essence magazine's Hollywood issue earlier this year.
Twitter user @snobaby28, who is believed to be called Brandi, tweeted Oprah after seeing the cover, which features her, 'The Butler' co-star Forest Whitaker, Michael B. Jordan and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
She wrote: "@oprah you look beautiful in that essence cover pic. WOW. CAN I please have that dress? Cuz I know u won't wear again lol luv u (sic)"
Oprah responded: "@snobaby28 you're right I won't wear ever again contact my asst. and show her this tweet. (sic)"
It appears the bold and unusual request was granted, as a week later Brandi wrote to the 60-year-old star again after receiving the dress and declared she will wear it on her wedding day.
She wrote: "@Oprah THANK YOU! Recv beautiful dress. Plan to wear at my wedding when I find a groom lol but will twt pic wearing it soon. Luv u to life! (sic)"
Oprah is no stranger to surprising her fans with gifts and has previously stunned studio audiences on her talk show, 'The Oprah Winfrey Show', with her generosity.
The star infamously gave cars to every member of her audience in 2004, cheering, "You get a car! You get a car! Everybody gets a car!"
And in 2010, to mark the final season of the show, she flew her entire audience out to Australia for a week of episodes taped Down Under.

Duchess of Cambridge unhappy with palace decor

The Duchess of Cambridge is unhappy with the £1 million revamp of Kensington Palace.
The 32-year-old royal is reportedly disappointed with the "horrible" décor inside 20-bedroom apartment and is keen to change the colour scheme, despite already having spent the staggering some of cash.
Catherine, who gave birth to Prince George last July, is thought to have hired help in the form of a flamboyant interior designer but has changed her mind on the colour scheme she chose while pregnant.
A source told the Mail Online:"She tried to do the revamp cheaply with the builders who did the kitchen, and she got Dulux paints to match the Farrow & Ball colour palette to save money. But she wasn't happy with the result, and one room came out with a horrible, unexpected purple tinge. She's blaming it on her hormones before the birth."
According to the newspaper, Ben Pentreath has been tasked with brightening up the royal residence which Catherine and Prince William moved into in October.
Ben - who insiders compare to Prince Diana's interior designer Nicky Halsam - had studied at Prince of Wales's Institute of Architecture before working on Prince Charles' Poundbury model village in Dorset.

Harry Styles recording to Kodaline?

Harry Styles has been writing songs with Kodaline.
The One Direction hunk is currently in Los Angeles, California, penning and recording tracks with the Irish band, with the finished collaboration expected to feature on the group's second album.
The 'High Hopes' hitmakers took to their official Twitter account yesterday (06.03.14) to share the news with their fans.
They tweeted: "In the studio with @Harry_Styles in LA writing a tune, sounds massive. He's gone and done a drawing of us.. x (sic)".
The quartet - consisting of Steve Garrigan, Jason Boland, Vincent May and Mark Prendergrast - have been working on the follow-up to their debut album 'In A Perfect World', which reached number three in the UK charts last year.
Drummer Steve said previously: "We're constantly writing new tracks, it's just a case of recording them.
"We started road-testing songs on tour. Playing to a crowd is better than writing it and seeing what happens.
"We've been told the next album won't be released till 2015 but we want to record and write as it's what we love doing."
Meanwhile, Harry, 20, admitted to the group earlier this month that he was a big fan of their's after watching them at a gig.
Frontman Steve said: "Harry turned up to the first show and randomly came over to say he was a big fan.
"We ended up going out that night to have a few drinks.
"He is such a cool dude. He's got no ego about him and seems really down to earth."
One Direction are currently on a three-month break before kicking off their 'Where We Are' stadium tour next month.

Mel C collaborates with Peter Aristone

Mel C has collaborated with Peter Aristone.
The 40-year-old singer and the up-and-coming musician are set to release their new single 'Cool As You', which explores the early stages of a relationship between two lovers, later this month.
Mel said: "I have been lucky enough in my career to work with various artists and I always enjoy collaborating, especially with other vocalists. As soon as I heard 'Cool As You' I was excited to be involved with the project and Peter was a pleasure to work with."
'Cool As You', which will feature on Peter's forthcoming album '19 Days in Tetbury', will be the second release by the singer following his debut single 'Sunlight', which was a massive hit last summer.
Peter said: "I'm absolutely thrilled to be working with an international recording artist of Melanie C's standing. To have this happen on my second single release in the UK is like a dream come true for me."
Meanwhile, Mel C is performing a 'secret gig' at the trendy Queen of Hoxton pub in East London on Wednesday (12.03.14) and, with a 250 capacity restriction at the venue, it's likely to be packed out.
'Cool As You' will be available from March 31, 2014, on iTunes and '19 Days in Tetbury' will be released in the Autumn.

Union J’s Josh Cuthbert would’ve auditioned for The Voice

Union J's Josh Cuthbert would have tried out for 'The Voice' if he hadn't made it on 'The X Factor'.
The 21-year-old heartthrob first auditioned for the ITV talent show on his own in 2007 and later with Union J - which also includes Jaymi Hensley, George Shelley and JJ Hamblett - in 2012, but Josh claims he would've gone to rival singing competition 'The Voice' if he was turned away by the 'X Factor' judges.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz prior to Union J's live set at M&M's World in London's Leicester Square yesterday (06.03.14), he said: "I would have just kept trying and would've done it through any avenue possible. So yeah, I probably would have gone on 'The Voice' or something like that, but I'm glad we managed to make it through 'X Factor'."
The 'Carry You' hitmakers performed a number of tracks from their self-titled debut - including 'Beautiful Life' and 'Loving You Is Easy' - for an exclusive crowd to celebrate the launch of the store's new personalised printer service, and Josh admitted that he thinks they all get equal attention from their female fans.
He said: "I think because we're all quite different ... there's not one of us that gets more attention than the others, because we all appeal to different people."
