Cate Blanchett and Sally Hawkins have become best friends.
The pair became close while acting as siblings in Woody Allen's acclaimed movie 'Blue Jasmine' and are on the hunt for another film they can work on together because they enjoy having a "good laugh and a chat" together.
Cate, 44, told the Daily Mail newspaper: "We are looking for something. Not to play siblings again - that would be daft - but just to do something together, it could be a film or on the stage.
We had all that time making the film then during the promotion of it, and then both of us being nominated for various awards, so we've spent a lot of time together, and it has occurred to us that we should work on another project."
The duo's on-screen chemistry was recognised by critics, audiences and their peers and the adulation culminated with Cate winning the Best Actress Oscar last Sunday (02.03.14), while Sally, 37, received her first Academy Award nomination in the Best Supporting Actress category but lost out to '12 Years A Slave Star' Lupita Nyong'o.
Despite her loss, Sally enjoyed the opportunity to dress up at the star-studded ceremony, but admitted she still needs to get used to wearing designer gowns.
Referring to her Oscars outfit, she said: "I feel like a screen goddess. I'm this ordinary person, dressed up in a gorgeous gown."
Lindsay Lohan says her legal issues are "in the past".
The 27-year-old actress has made a concerted effort to turn her life around after completing 90-days of court-ordered rehab last summer - which stemmed from an arrest for lying to police about a car crash in June 2012 - and she credits talk show legend Oprah Winfrey with helping her get back on track.
Appearing on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' last night (06.03.14), she said of her legal problems: "That is the past. I feel really lucky to be able to work with someone like Oprah and create. I have a really strong bond with her where I can call her for advice and she has become someone I can learn from in life."
Lindsay gave an interview to Oprah right after leaving rehab last August and has filmed an eight-part reality show for her TV channel, OWN.
However, the 'Mean Girls' star hasn't seen any of the footage, which includes Oprah telling her to "cut the bulls**t".
She explained: "I have seen nothing ... it is really interesting as I kept hearing my name [on trailers] and I get really uncomfortable with it.
"It is a television show so they want ratings - they picked the first two months after I got back to New York after I had been in treatment."
Oprah, 60, has recently been accused of exploiting Lindsay by signing her up for a reality show, but the actress says the drama seen in the show isn't as it seems.
She added: "I became really spiritual over this past year and I have been trying to find peace and serenity in my life. So of course they take the chaos of me moving after eight years of living in LA back to the city of New York. So it's like 'Oprah reprimands Lindsay!' "
Jude Law is in talks to star in spy comedy 'Susan Cooper'.
The actor is expected to take the lead role opposite Melissa McCarthy in Paul Feig's upcoming comedy caper, The Wrap is reporting.
The action flick, which will also star Rose Byrne and Jason Statham, depicts the adventures of an unlikely female spy.
Feig wrote the script and is producing alongside Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping through their Chernin Entertainment banner with Jessie Henderson.
This marks the third big screen outing for Feig and McCarthy, who have known international success with 2013's 'The Heat' and 2011's 'Bridesmaids'.
Feig previously insisted he wants 'Susan Cooper' to be as realistic as possible when it comes to fight scenes.
He told Page Six: "I don't want [Melissa to be able] to beat up a 300-pound giant. She has to use her wits to do it. Women make the best spies because they can figure out how to get in with somebody, gain their trust and be a friend ... Still, if she has to kick ass in some way, she can."
20th Century Fox is planning to release 'Susan Cooper' in May 2015.
Law was last seen in 'Dom Hemingway' and appears in the all-star cast of new release 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' alongside the likes of Tilda Swinton, Bill Murray and Ralph Fiennes.
'Gods Pocket' starring the late Philip Seymour Hoffman has been given a release date.

Yoko Ono has written an open letter to Elbow thanking the band for mentioning her in a song.
The Japanese artist - the widow of Beatles legend John Lennon - has been name-checked by the group on their latest track 'New York Morning'.
In the lyrics, frontman Guy Garvey sings: "Oh, my giddy aunt, New York can talk, It's the modern Rome and folk are nice to Yoko."
The song is taken from their latest album 'The Take Off And Landing Of Everything' and references the time when Yoko lived with John in New York before he was almost kicked out of the US in 1973 by immigration authorities for his marijuana conviction in Britain in 1968.
John - who was shot dead outside the Dakota Building in NYC by Mark Chapman in 1980 - was given 60 days to leave the country but his order of deportation was later overturned and he received his green card.
Yoko, 81, wrote on her official website: "Dear Guy, Craig, Mark, Pete and Richard, Yes. New York has been kind to me as your song says. Thank you (sic).
"For John, he always wanted to come and live in this city, ever since he saw Bob Dylan on the famous album cover (The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan). And I played the catalyst to make his dream come true.
"But in sleepless nights, I am still living in the memory of my sweet husband, who was virtually kicked out of his own country that he loved so dearly and learned to live in this bleak port city just so his woman and he could live in peace.
"Two sides of the coin. Life is. Have a great time in New York.
We loved it. Love, Yoko."
Britain's Queen Elizabeth and the Prince Philip were greeted by a robot at a school in Surrey yesterday (06.03.14).
The 87-year-old monarch and her husband met a patriotic flag-waving droid during a tour around the science department at Reed's School in Cobham.
The queen is a patron of the school, which opened in 1813, and appeared delighted to see the 2ft robot, along with cheering pupils and staff who waved Union Jack flags as she arrived.
She wore a pearl-grey tweed suit and matching hat, along with a stunning diamond brooch and her traditional Launer handbag.
And despite his recent bad health, the Duke of Edinburgh appeared in good spirits as he toured the school and inspecting projects displayed by students.
Elsewhere, the queen's grandson, Prince Harry, spent the morning playing volleyball with disabled athletes at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford as he launched the Invictus Games, a competition for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women, which will take place in London in September.
After serving in Afghanistan on the frontline, the 29-year-old royal said: "It's not about showing support for Afghanistan, it's not about supporting war, it's not about supporting the forces themselves ... just come along and show your support."
Joey Essex wants to become a rapper.
The former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star is reportedly in talks with Warner Music to record an album following the release of his 'Essex Anthems' compilation CD.
He told The Sun newspaper: "I might be doing a deal. It'd take me a few years to do big shows.
"I've done things like that but not actually sung. I've got the confidence, but it's just being able to sing."
Joey showed off his talent with his lyrics: "Yo, yo, yo, yeah, my name is Joe. Don't live in Hackney, don't live in Bow."
His record label are said to be monitoring sales of his first record before deciding on a rap album and he hopes to become Britain's answer to 'Holy Grail' hitmaker Jay Z.
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old star had his TOWIE co-stars James 'Arg' Argent and James 'Diags' Bennewith in stitches when he revealed he wants Peter Pan to play him in a film about his life.
During an online chat with fans, he said: "I'd like Peter Pan to play me because he never wants to grow up," adding, "Make a cartoon where Peter Pan says 'today I'm going to be Joey Essex."
The hunk didn't understand when Arg and Diags tried to explain Peter Pan is "already a character" before Arg joked that Jonah Hill could portray Diags.
Joey also admitted he'd strip naked for £500 for a magazine spread and hinted he could return to TOWIE, telling fans: "Never say never."
Lea Michele doesn't think people should "strive for fame".
The 27-year-old star - who recently released her first solo album 'Louder' - thinks too many young people aspire to be a star rather than looking to do something they are really passionate about.
She told Bliss magazine: "A lot of people strive for fame and don't focus on finding something they're passionate about.
"There becomes this idea of a system where someone is better than you because they're famous, so you want to strive to be where they are, when the most important thing is to be the best you, and be your own personal motivator."
The 'Glee' actress has always been interested in singing and acting and says being famous is just an unfortunate part of the job rather than something she's always aspired to.
When asked if the intrusions into her personal life are worth it for being able to do the job that you love, she said: "That is a very weird part of this business. It's very strange that men sit outside my house in cars and wait to take a photo of me at the grocery store.
"Some days it's harder to deal with than others, but I try not to let it get the best of me."
Joe Jackson may be the father of Brandon Howard - not Michael Jackson.
A DNA test released yesterday (06.03.14) allegedly proved the late King of Pop fathered a secret love child with gospel singer Miki Howard, however, in a sensational twist, it's now claimed the 31-year-old aspiring singer is in fact the love child of Michael's father.
Miki was represented by Joe, 85, in the 1980s and toured with Michael and his music manager dad.
A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: "I've been hearing for years that Brandon is Joe's son."
A press conference was held by Beverly Hills dental surgeon Dr. Joseph Goodman yesterday in which he claimed there was a "99 per cent" probability Brandon is Michael's son, having acquired the late 'Thriller' singer's DNA by buying one of his used dental devices at auction.
Brandon admitted he did supply some DNA for the test but insisted he is not looking to stake a claim in the fortune left behind by Michael upon his death in June 2009.
He said: "Number one, I did not call [website] TMZ or anything like that. Didn't put out a story, nothing. Number two, I've never 'self-proclaimed' to be Michael Jackson's son.
"Number three, I'm definitely not suing the estate. I've been taken care of very well. Number four, it is true I did do a DNA test but it had nothing to do with any of this."
The news has prompted speculation Brandon is the child Michael is singing about in his 1982 hit song 'Billie Jean'.
Michael was father to three children, Prince Michael, 16, Paris, 15, and Blanket, 11, until his death in 2009.
Ireland Baldwin has split up from her boyfriend.
The 18-year-old model - the daughter of actor Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger - has called time on her relationship with Slater Trout in order to focus on her career and her schooling.
She told People magazine: "I love him more than anything but I need to focus on myself right now."
The couple were introduced to each other in 2012 and by May 2013, Ireland was gushes about how close she had become to the surfer.
She said at the time: "I would say he is my best friend. We have our moments but that's rare. We can act stupid in public, private or wherever and we are always laughing."
The pair even sparked engagement rumours last year after Ireland was spotted wearing a silver band on her ring finger.
Ireland isn't only making changes in her love life at the moment as she ditched her platinum locks on Wednesday (05.03.14) and dyed her hair lilac.
She told E! News: "I just really wanted to go lavender and it's going to fade out. I wanted change! I love my platinum hair and that's who I am, but this is fun. Why not? It's temporary and fun."

Brooke Vincent isn't ready for marriage.
The 'Coronation Street' actress - who plays Sophie Webster in the soap - says she isn't in a hurry to follow in co-star Michelle Keegan's footsteps by getting engaged to her footballer boyfriend Josh McEachran.
She said: "Michelle's older than me so she's had a lot more life experience. And I wouldn't want to get engaged just because other people were doing it."
The 21-year-old star has been with her boyfriend for over two years and admits she's surprised they've lasted so long because they have very different personalities.
She added to new! magazine: "It's two and a half years now - I'm surprised he hasn't killed me yet! He's dead quiet and I talk everyone's socks off. That's my problem, I don't let him get a word in edgeways."
While she's not ready to tie the knot, Brooke admits she would love to have children one day - but will leave 'Corrie' first.
She said: "I've always wanted to be a stay-at-home mum, so maybe when that happens I might stop being Sophie Webster for a bit. My mum was 23 when she had me. Four of my friends have had babies recently and I do get broody. But I also understand how hard it is, so I think I'm going to get a few more years of sleep in!"
