Jared Leto has dented his Oscar Award.
The 'Dallas Buyers Club' star won the Best Supporting Actor prize for his role as Rayon in the biopic at the event on Sunday (02.03.14), but he has already managed to damage the trophy after accidentally hitting it on the banister while showing it off to his friends.
He said: "True story, I was letting some of the people that I work with take a picture with the Oscar, and I was carrying it downstairs and boom - I hit the railing on the stairs and I put a little nick in the back of it. It's already lived in, as they say."
Meanwhile, the 30 Seconds to Mars frontman has decided to stash his award in the kitchen, disguised by some food, so that he can look at it every time he comes home.
He explained to Entertainment Tonight Canada: "The Oscar is sitting in my kitchen guarded by some vegan butter and a bag of popcorn,"
"That is the first place I go when I go home, you put your keys down, you take off your jacket and you put your Oscar in your kitchen."

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield didn't attend the Oscar Awards on Sunday (02.03.14) due to "personal reasons".
The couple were meant to be hosting the event, held in Los Angeles, at the weekend but the pair reportedly never flew in from New York City, and friends believe their absence was for something serious.
A source told RadarOnline: "It was disheartening to learn that Emma and Andrew cancelled on the Oscars and the Vanity Fair party literally last minute for a personal matter.
"If it were a fight or something between them one would have just came without the other, but this seemed to be more of something going on with one of their families."
Pals close to the pair - who have been dating since 2011 - are worried their decision to skip the awards ceremony could be down to Emma's mother falling ill again.
Krista Stone was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, known to be highly aggressive and tough to treat, in 2008 but beat the disease later that year.
The source explained: "Everyone just hopes Emma's mum didn't detect another case of cancer or something.
"Emma and Andrew don't have any other press obligations in the next two weeks, so hopefully whatever it is, they will have some time to themselves to deal with it."

Jaime King credits Jessica Alba for teaching her how to be a "great" mother.
The 34-year-old actress welcomed her son James Knight into the world five months ago with her husband Kyle Newman and admits the 32-year-old star - who has daughters Honor, five, and Haven, two - has helped her adapt to motherhood.
She told E! News: "Jessica Alba is the godmother to my son James Knight. She is such an incredible parent and I chose her because she really showed me what it is like to be a great mum and a great working mum."
The 'Hart of Dixie' star has picked up tips on how to juggle being a mother with having a globe-trotting career from Jessica, who runs her own business The Honest Company, which creates toxin-free household goods, nappies, and body care products.
She explained: "It was really just watching her over the years, the balance that she creates. She had kids before anyone in our group of friends did and I thought after having a baby, how much courage that takes and how much information you need to know...and watching Jessica really come to her own and create this Honest [company] of all of these products that are good for the planet, good for children. It's just so great knowing I have someone that is like a sister that did so much for women and families."

Shakira wants to have "eight or nine" children.
The 'Cant Remember to Forget You' hitmaker - who has 15-month-old son Milan with her partner Gerard Piqué - admits her career has forced her to put her plans for her second child on hold for the time being, but she insists she'd like to have a big family eventually.
She said: "If it weren't because of my music projects, I would be pregnant already. I would love to have eight or nine kids with Gerard--my own soccer team."
However, despite the 37-year-old singer's busy schedule, she insists her first born Milan will always come top on her list of priorities.
She explained: "I used to go in circles around an idea, but since he arrived I don't have much time--I have to rush back home--so he has helped me learn how to focus.
"When you have a baby, when you feel his love, you feel so at peace with the world. You just want to share the good news and share how happy you feel."
Meanwhile, Shakira believes she and Gerard - whom she has been dating for four years - share a true loving relationship, rather than a romance based on fame.
She told April's edition of Latina magazine: "He's with me because he wants to be with Shakira the person, not the celebrity. There's real love. There's no ulterior motives. And I'm with him because he's the most amazing man I've ever met. We want the same things, we like the same things, we hate the same things. I have never been with someone so passionate in my life."

Ellen DeGeneres has been branded a "transphobic" after she made a joke at the Oscar Awards on Sunday (02.03.14).
The talk show host - who is openly gay - has been criticised by fans after she joked that Liza Minnelli looked like a drag queen at the glamorous event, held in Los Angeles, at the weekend.
Ellen, who was hosting the awards, said to Liza at the ceremony: "Hello to the best Liza Minnelli impersonator I've ever seen", before adding, "Good job, sir."
Viewers took to Twitter afterwards to hit out at Ellen for her remark.
Bruce LaBruce wrote: "I did not appreciate Ellen's mean joke about Liza. I found it transphobic and disrespectful. (sic)".
While Greastzok tweeted: "are we going to address the fact that ellen blatantly called liza minelli a man you'd think she would know better im extremely disappointed.
"i literally just sat there in disbelief when she said that i was like did she actually just say that (sic)".
However, Liza, 67, didn't appear to take offence from the joke and claims the 56-year-old comedian didn't mean "any harm" by it.
She told TMZ.com: "I think she thought it would be funny, but she never stopped after she said it and said 'my friend Liza Minnelli.' So I think it went a little stray on her. I don't think she meant any harm at all, and she's a wonderful lady."

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen had to delay their wedding.
The couple married in September last year by Lake Como in Italy, but their big day didn't go according to plan as they were forced to push back their nuptials by four hours due to bad weather.

Colin Farrell admits his passion for acting was "toxic" for seven years.
The 37-year-old actor earned himself a bad reputation in Hollywood from 2000 until 2006 due to his wild behaviour, and he claims the high level of fame that came his way during that period "diluted" his love of performing.
He said: "I was removed from the amount of passion and curiosity that I had about acting.

Scarlett Johansson's pregnancy could delay filming for 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron'.
The 29-year-old actress is reportedly due to welcome her first child into the world with her fiancé Romain Dauriac, 31, in August, but shooting for her upcoming movie, which kicks off on April 5, may need to be re-scheduled to fit around her growing baby bump.

The 26-year-old actor underwent a stint in rehab early last year, allegedly because abusing alcohol and painkiller Oxycodone, and ensured he wasn't tempted at Sunday's (02.03.14) glitzy extravaganza by having his companion by his side at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "Zac had a sober coach with him the entire time he was at Dolby to monitor what he was doing and to make sure he didn't partake in any substances like drugs or alcohol.
"The coach was there to escort him to the bathroom or backstage, anywhere he needed to be where temptation might arise."
The 'That Awkward Moment' actor - who was seen wearing a blue Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) chip, marking six months of sobriety in December - is said to have skipped the afterparties in favour of a quiet night back at home.
Zac recently proclaimed he is feeling better than ever after his stint in rehab.
He said: ''I'm so happy. I feel like I'm in a great place and I'm glad that I'm really here to share this moment with everybody and be present for all of it.
''It was an interesting year. I learned so many things. So much. The best part of it was being able to reflect upon that experience and realise how much I have learned about myself and the kind of man I want to be.''

Hayden Panettiere is "overwhelmed" at the thought of her wedding day.
The 'Nashville' actress hasn't yet started planning her nuptials to Wladimir Klitschko - who she got engaged to in October - but she is nervous because she thinks going down the aisle will be such an opposite experience to walking the red carpet.
She explained to Brides magazine: "When eyes have been on me in the past, it's been because of an event, where people see me as a persona, as Hayden Panettiere the actress.

And though she insisted she hasn't started planning her wedding yet, Hayden offered a small tease about her big day.
She said: "I love colour, so that will play a big part."
