Anna Kendrick doesn't want singing roles in films so she can drink beer whenever she wants.
The 28-year-old actress is soon to hit the big screen in a string of movies including 'The Last Five Years' which is based on Jason Robert Brown's musical of same name, an adaptation of 'Into the Woods' based on the Tony Award-winning Broadway performance, and the sequel to 2012's 'Pitch Perfect'.
These films require her to belt out tracks and Kendrick insists she needs to be cast in productions which don't force her to think about her voice as much.
Talking to the wrap.com, she said: "I never want to sing again, honestly. It's hard as f**k.
"The 'Pitch Perfect' [sequel] is going to be fine, ten girls have to be able to sing the songs so it's going to be fine, but doing 'The Last Five Years' and then 'Into the Woods' straight away, I was like, I don't want to have to think about my voice so much.
"I want to be able to drink beer whenever I want."
The brunette beauty stars alongside Jeremy Jordan in Richard LaGravenese's forthcoming comedy and is also set to feature with a number of A-Listers including James Corden and Meryl Streep in 2014's musical fantasy 'Into the Woods' where she plays Cinderella.
Both these films are in post-production, while 'Pitch Perfect 2' will be released in 2015 and shows Kendrick and Rebel Wilson both reprise their roles.
Daniel Radcliffe is filming scenes for 'Frankenstein' in London.
The 'Harry Potter' star has swapped his short brown hair for dishevelled bob style extensions for his role as Frankenstein's assistant Igor in the latest adaptation of Mary Shelley's novel.
Radcliffe will star alongside James McAvoy (Victor Frankenstein) and former 'Downton Abbey' star Jessica Brown Findlay and previously joked about the difficulty of maintaining his fake hair.
The 24-year-old actor explained: "I don't mind how it looks but I mind dealing with it. I don't know why any man would have it voluntarily."
Radcliffe attended the WhatsOnStage Awards last week, where he and his co-star McAvoy were both nominated for Best Actor awards and he admitted that when he's finished working on the fantasy-drama he won't be growing his own hair.
He said: "The amount of work it takes, having to dry it - doing anything to it is a f**king nightmare. I do have a whole new sympathy for women. I wouldn't be growing my hair this long in my own time."
'Frankenstein' - which is being directed by Lucky Number Slevin's Paul McGuigan - is expected to be released in January 2015.
Kanye West is writing a movie role for Kim Kardashian.
The 'Bound 2' hitmaker - who has eight-month-old daughter North with the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star - is teaming up with author Bret Easton Ellis for a film based on his 'Yeezus' album and insiders say his fiancee will "definitely" be part of the cast.
A source said: "It's going to be based on the 'Yeezus' album. That's pretty much a narrative of Kanye's life.
"Kanye will not appear in the movie. Kim is definitely going to be in it. The screenplay already features her character."
However, it has not yet been decided how big a role Kim will play in the movie.
The source continued to RadarOnline.com: "They're still working on the script, so it's unclear at this point if Kim will be a major star of the movie or making a smaller cameo but her role in the movie will be pivotal.
"Her role is going to be very dramatic. Far from the bubbly happy persona that she's always played."
Kanye plans to direct the movie - which will be dedicated to his late mother - and "wants to be heavily involved in all aspects of production."
Paula Patton felt "utterly disrespected" by Robin Thicke and Miley Cyrus' MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) performance.
The 38-year-old actress reportedly had a huge argument with the 'Blurred Lines' singer following the show, saying the raunchy routine - which featured 21-year-old Miley 'twerking' against her spouse - was insulting to her, particularly as it took place in front of a huge national TV audience.
And according to TMZ, Paula was particularly "enraged" because Miley improvised the performance without warning but her husband was happy to play along.
The couple - who announced their separation after eight years of marriage earlier this week - began arguing constantly after the ceremony in August, with the actress particularly furious with Robin's insistence on continuing to party at clubs and frequently being pictured with various women.
Although the couple - who have three-year-old son Julian together - insisted the separation was mutual, friends say Robin fought hard against the decision.
A source told Us Weekly: "Robin wanted to save their marriage, but it was Paula's choice and she ended it. Robin does not want this divorce.
"Robin was not blindsided - he knew this was coming out.But he was committed to saving their marriage. He didn't want this."
Another source added: "She is done with the marriage, but he was definitely fighting to stay together until the last moment. It is still cordial between them, but they are now figuring things out."
Woody Harrelson got into acting to impress girls.
The 52-year-old actor realised he could carve a career using his knack for impersonations after wooing a young lady by mimicking Elvis Presley.
He said: "In high school, I realised that if you were a terrific athlete, you could attract girls. I wasn't, so I had to look into some other possibilities.
"I got into theatre because a girl I liked saw me do an Elvis impersonation in the library and said I should be in the theatre. And I was like, 'If she wants me to be in theatre, I'm going to be in theatre.'
"Later on I realised that most of us are never going to be rock stars, which is probably everybody's real dream. So theatre is really our only chance to get up in front of a live audience."
The 'True Detective' star meditates on a daily basis and became a staunch vegan after feeling "knocked out" by greasy fast food.
He told the Metro newspaper: "I used to eat burgers and steak but I would just feel knocked out afterward. I had to give them up.
"Dairy was first, though. I was on a bus when I was about 24 and this girl saw me blow my nose, and I had acne all over my face. She told me I was obviously lactose intolerant and that if I gave up dairy my symptoms would disappear in a matter of days. She was right."
Ellen DeGeneres presented Jimmy Kimmel with an Oscar for his unborn baby last night (26.02.14).
The 56-year-old talk show host will front the Academy Awards on Sunday (02.03.14) and joked she had taken one of the statuettes to gift to the presenter following the news he and wife Molly McNearney are expecting their first child together.
Speaking on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' last night, she said:
"You announced on the show that you and Molly are having a baby. Congratulations again. I got you a baby gift. Will it be your first?"
Jimmy inspected the trophy and said: "It is a heavy baby gift."
Ellen joked: "It is real! They let me take a real - well, they didn't let me - but I took it.
"I was rehearsing across the street. It is like a baby rattle so the child can play with it."
However, Jimmy felt his offspring wouldn't be impressed by the gift.
He joked: "I wish the baby had a speech prepared right now...I can't believe how heavy this thing is. The baby is not going to like this at all! We are going to have to have one of those super babies."
Meanwhile, Ellen - who is married to Portia De Rossi - also admitted she didn't "think through" her decision to host the Oscars and is incredibly "busy" at the moment.
She said: "I am very busy. I didn't think this through when I said I would host the Oscars. I have a show everyday, and I am writing like crazy. I am moving at the same time, which was not thought through either. We are moving right after the Oscars."
Angela Rippon will front a new ITV game show.
The former newsreader and 'Take Me Out' presenter Paddy McGuiness will co-host 'Amazing Greys', which pits young people against "some of the UK's most talented pensioners".
A source told the Sun newspaper:"Each of the Amazing Greys [the pensioners] has an incredible talent they have spent a lifetime perfecting - be it physical, mental or something completely unique to them.
"The contestants will face a maximum of three Amazing Greys. If they can beat two of the three, they will leave with £10,000. If they don't they will leave with nothing."
The format is reminiscent of former BBC game show 'The Generation Game' - famously hosted by Bruce Forsyth in 1971 - which featured four different families pit old against the young in a bid to win prizes.
Angela says she looking forward to the new format and will be encouraging the elder generation throughout the competition.
She said: "The show will celebrate some of the most talented senior citizens and I will be there to cheer them on as they take on the younger contestants."
'Amazing Greys' will air on ITV in the spring.
