Cheryl Cole is focusing on her brand.
The former Girls Aloud singer - who recently revealed she'd be returning to 'The X Factor' as a judge later this year - has been ensuring her brand will get maximum exposure by trademarking her name against all of her products.
Under her Stormflower label she formally applied to the Intellectual Property Office with a list of more than 50 items which include her perfumes, false eyelashes and nails, body shimmers and more unusual products such as toilet water, scalp cream, talcum powder and "fragrant wax for use in potpourri burners".
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Showbiz is a fickle world and she is determined to make the most of her X Factor comeback. She will once again become one of the most popular and talked about female celebs in Britain, and is determined to maximise the exposure."
The 30-year-old singer - who previously claimed she would never return to the talent show after being dumped from the US version by Simon Cowell - has realised how important it is to have her products associated with her name.
The source added: "Anything she puts her name to will sell. Young girls want to look like her, or smell like her, and if they think they can do that by buying Cheryl's eponymous range of moisturisers, eyelashes, perfumes then they will.
"First and foremost, Cheryl Cole is now a businesswoman and a brand."

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have hired a "royal wedding coach" to teach them etiquette.
The couple are preparing to marry next month in France, and the reality TV star - who is famously fascinated by the nuptials between Prince William and Duchess Catherine in 2010 - wants their big day to be as "regal" as possible.
A source told UK's Grazia magazine: "Kim and Kanye want their day to be as regal as possible and are studying Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding for inspiration.
"The coach will apparently spend a week with Kim, Kanye, and the rest of the Kardashian clan in LA, giving them lessons tailored to their 'royal' day.
"They will also be taught about contemporary etiquette and manners carried out by the modern royal family, as well as putting a British touch to their day with all the formal protocol."
And the couple - who have 10-month-old daughter North together - will be issuing guidelines to their guests on appropriate behaviour at the wedding.
The source added: "Their coach has come up with a strict guide for guests, including how to hold a champagne glass.
"They will also be told not to address service staff. Kim and Kanye want this to be as formal as possible."

Ronnie Wood's stepson insists he was "tight" with money growing up and wouldn't hand out much cash to his children.
Jamie Wood, who Rolling Stones' guitarist Ronnie brought up as his own after he got together with his ex-wife Jo, claims he used to "hustle" from a young age and sold hash to classmates to make money at school.
He told The Times newspaper: "My old man is tight. I'd say, 'Dad, I'm going out', and he'd give me a tenner. That's why I was always hustling from a young age, so I wouldn't have to ask him for nothing.
"Dad grew up poor ... he understands the value of money, make no mistake. We all had to earn our money. He's not one to say, 'Take my cash', because if he did I'd say, 'F**k this', and go sit on a beach."
Jamie, 39, who is now an art gallery owner and helps to sell his stepfather's famous paintings, admits he used to dabble in drugs but hasn't touched them since he was a teenager.
He said: "Who doesn't do drugs, whether you're a rock 'n' roll family or not? Everyone does drugs these days. I got it all out of the way in five years. I haven't done a drug for 19 years."

Sam Claflin found filming 'The Quiet Ones' difficult.
The 27-year-old actor admits shooting a horror movie without having music or sound effects to react to was a challenging experience, but thinks seeing the resulting behind-the-scenes footage would make for a great comedy.
He said: "During filming we found it reasonably difficult, not going to lie. Trying to film a horror movie without the music or sound effects to react to, instead you have a director behind the camera going 'screech', 'scrape','bang', 'door slam', it's how it works. And you're going, 'Is this gonna be scary? I don't know if it works...'
"I think it would make for a great comedy, to do a really bad horror movie and to see a behind-the-scenes of what really happens on a horror movie."
Claflin enjoyed researching his role of Brian McNeil in the 1970s-set movie because he got the chance to learn how to use the technology of the period.
Talking on Radio One, he explained: "For me, there was a huge research to do into the 1970s film equipment, you have your camera and editing stuff, which I needed to learn to do, so I went on a couple of courses.
"Working with the equipment it was amazing, learning how to cut film reels and staple them back together."

DJ Cassidy was determined to get Jessie J to perform on his debut single because of her "electric" personality.
The DJ-and-producer has recruited a number of stars for his debut album 'Paradise Royale', including R. Kelly and John Legend, but he was desperate to get Jessie to provide vocals on 'Calling All Hearts' after being introduced to her by songwriter Claude Kelley.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Claude obviously has worked with Jessie his whole career and had many number one records with her.
"He always said to me, 'We need to get Jessie,' and he was dead on. Her voice is so uniquely powerful and uniquely soulful and her personality is just electric and she just lifted this song up."
Cassidy finally got to pitch his idea to Jessie, whilst she was eating a sandwich during a break in the recording sessions for her last album 'Alive'.
He said: "When she came to New York to finish her album with Claude, Claude said come to the studio, we're having lunch, it's the perfect time to pitch. I ran to the studio and whilst she was eating her sandwich, I pitched her the project."
Jessie was so excited by the track - which also has Nile Rodgers on guitar - that she insisted they record it straight away.
Cassidy - who has deejayed for some of the world's most famous and important people, including President Barack Obama, Jennifer Lopez and at the wedding of Jay Z and Beyonce - added: "I played her the demo of 'Calling All Hearts' and she said, 'I want to record it right now. Two hours later, the song was done."
'Calling All Hearts' also features Robin Thicke on vocals and the 'Blurred Lines' hitmaker was just as keen as Jessie to get on board with the project once he heard the song.
Cassidy revealed: "I'm playing Andre Harrell, legendary R&B mogul, my album and he says, 'How come Robin's not on this f***ing album?'. And I said, 'Well, I first played some tracks for Robin when I started and he had sketched out some things which never panned out.' He said, 'I'm calling Robin right now; he happens to be in New York.' So he calls Robin and at one in the morning I go to the hotel and I play Robin my album. I get about halfway through before I play 'Calling All Hearts', after one verse, he stops it and says, 'I'm recording this song with her.' Next day, he flew to LA and recorded the song."

The 26-year-old actor, who sought treatment in rehab for cocaine addiction twice last year, recently began dating his 'Bad Neighbours' co-star after meeting her on the set of the upcoming comedy.
A source told E! News: "They are definitely an item. They were seeing each other a bit during filming of their movie together and ever since he went to rehab they got a lot closer.
"Her friends love him and say he is so sweet. He's really good to her."
The heartthrob and the 20-year-old former Nickelodeon star were photographed laughing and talking animatedly as they watched a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game together earlier this month.
News of their romance comes just weeks after Zac sparked concern about his sobriety after he and his bodyguard were involved in a fight with a group of transients in downtown LA.
But the 'That Awkward Moment' star, who previously dated Vanessa Hudgens and Lily Collins, has reportedly hired a health and wellness coach to help him stay on track.

JWoww was banned from having sex for a month.
The former 'Jersey Shore' star - who is set to give birth to a baby girl in July with her fiancé Roger Mathews - was warned by her doctors that she needed to be "cautious" in the bedroom because she had a "low lying placenta."
The 28-year-old beauty revealed on her official website JenniFarley.com on Tuesday (15.04.14) that medical professionals discovered the issue at a check-up earlier in her pregnancy.
She wrote: "So as the doctor is finishing up he notices something else... Ummm are you serious?! He says it looks like you have a low lying placenta and we need to be cautious until the next visit so no bleeding occurs... Okay?! What do you mean by cautious... 'Well no sex' he says. I literally burst out laughing hysterically. Roger swears I paid him to say lmao. So now no sex for a Month!!! (sic)"
The reality TV star, who went "numb" when doctors found a small cyst on her unborn baby's brain, was thrilled to discover she and her baby girl are both in good health this week.
She added: "Fast forward to this checkup which brings me to 25 weeks aka six months. My daughters cyst went away!!!!!! Also my placenta is higher so I'm no longer at risk (don't tell roger)... (sic)"
JWoww previously admitted she isn't enjoying her pregnancy and can't wait to give birth.

Paul Walker's younger brothers will help complete his final movie, 'Fast & Furious 7.'
Producers confirmed on Tuesday (15.04.14) that Caleb and Cody Walker have signed on to shoot the remaining scenes featuring the late star's character, Brian O'Connor, for the upcoming blockbuster.
Paul, 40, was on a break from shooting the film when he died in a car crash in November and filming was put on hold until recently.
A note on the movie's official Facebook page stated: "The Fast & Furious saga is about family. Our family experienced an unthinkable shock in November. We had to take time to grieve Paul, the brother we love and lost, and to figure out if we should move on with our film.
"We came together and all felt the only choice was to continue. We believe our fans want that, and we believe Paul would want that too. Paul had already shot his dramatic scenes and most of his action for 'Fast & Furious 7,' and it's among the strongest work of his career.
"We have resumed shooting and now welcome Paul's brothers, Caleb and Cody, into our Fast family. Caleb and Cody are helping us complete some remaining action for their brother and fill in small gaps left in production. Having them on set has made us all feel that Paul is with us too."
A source first revealed in December that producers had approached his "nearly identical brother" Cody, who worked as a stuntman in the past, to help them to finish the project, explaining: "They can shoot Cody from behind and at distance and if it's a shot they need Paul's face in close up they can CGI it later on. If Cody agrees it's because he wants to honour his brother's memory."
The movie is scheduled to be released on April 10, 2015.

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star, who filed for divorce from Lamar Odom in December after four years of marriage, is smitten with the 'Pop That' hitmaker but her friends and family believe it's merely a "rebound" romance.
An insider told E! News: "Khloé adores him. She keeps telling everyone what a great guy he is."
The 29-year-old beauty hung out with French - real name Karim Kharbouch - all last weekend and was spotted on three dinner dates with him in Los Angeles in four days.
They also recently flew to Arizona to party together with friends.
But a source said: "No one thinks this will last. (Khloé's close friends) think it's a rebound."
The friend also insisted Khloé has no intention of reuniting with Lamar, who allegedly battled a cocaine addiction and cheated on her multiple times before she filed for a divorce from him.
The source said: "Khloé checks in with Lamar to see how he's doing."
But added: "That is done, finished. She would never."
Khloé and Moroccan-born French, 29, were first spotted together late last month and recently enjoyed a double date with her sister Kourtney Kardashian and her partner Scott Disick.

Kris Jenner admits it will be "a relief" when Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding is over.
The Kardashian family matriarch is fed up of keeping details about the couple's upcoming nuptials in Paris a secret and can't wait to relax after the event.
Asked what she is looking forward to most about their special day in the French capital on May 24, the 58-year-old star told E! News: "Probably sleeping when it's over. We really can't say a lot just for their privacy right now, but it'll be nice not to have to keep a secret all the time. It'll be just a relief to get it over with."
But she added: "(I'm) so excited that these two, who are so in love, will be together and married, so we're beyond thrilled.
"They're both so happy, the baby is so happy and they have the most amazing family unit. He is the most amazing daddy and she is a fantastic mom."

Miley Cyrus was hospitalised on Tuesday (15.04.14).
The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker was rushed to a US medical centre after having a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics prescribed to her for a fever.
The 21-year-old star was forced to cancel her performance at the Sprint Centre in Kansas City, Missouri, as part of her 'Bangerz' world tour, and a press release from the venue stated she had been "placed on medical rest by her doctors."
Another source told E! News the singer had "an absolutely horrible reaction" to medication.
Miley also took to Twitter from her hospital bed to apologise for the cancellation.
She tweeted: "Kansas I promise I'm as heartbroken as you are. I wanted to badly 2 b there 2night.
"Not being with yall makes me feel s***tier than I already do (sic)."
The 'Adore You' singer later posted a picture of herself in a hospital gown, with a toy octopus covering her face, writing: "Mr. Octopussy & some amazing Drs are taking good care of me (sic)."
Miley first revealed she was not feeling well on Monday (14.04.14), tweeting: "I woke up like disssss #SICK Fever fever go away (sic)."
News of her medical scare comes after she was devastated by the sudden death of her dog, Floyd, on April 1 and admitted she was "emotionally and physically exhausted."
She also cancelled another show in Charlotte, North Carolina last week when she came down with the flu.

The 'Clueless' actress, who welcomed her first baby boy, Bear Blu, into the world in May 2011, claims she really enjoyed the first half of the delivery process.
Promoting her new book, 'The Kind Mama,' the 37-year-old star told 'Live! With Kelly & Michael': "The first 14 hours was almost sexy. The [hormone] oxytocin was doing all this magic and it felt amazing. And then it got less than amazing. It got really intense as labour is. And, yeah, it didn't end up as I planned but the whole juicy story is in the book."
The 'Suburgatory' beauty endured 27 hours of labour before she was forced to undergo an emergency Caesarean section.
Alicia has previously attracted criticism for some of her parenting skills, including chewing her son's food before giving it to him, and ingesting her placenta through a pill.
But she told 'Good Morning America': "As far as critics, I'm very secure in the choices I make because I'm really informed and I trust my instincts and when I need help, I go to the people I see parent or birth or be pregnant in a way that was really inspiring me. And the rest is just noise."
Asked if she wants more children, she said: "Definitely eventually. But I'm really loving and enjoying Bear right now. I want to finish a few things and then definitely want another baby but not yet."
