Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg are engaged.
The 41-year-old presenter unveiled her stunning yellow sapphire ring on 'The View' today (16.04.14), and revealed her 11-year-old son Evan - who she has with former spouse John Mallory Asher - helped the New Kids on the Block singer with his proposal last weekend.
After hiding her hand behind the show's desk, Jenny showed off the ring and exclaimed: "I just got engaged!"
She then wept as she recalled the proposal and explained Donnie, 44, had got down on one knee to pop the question.
She said: "This weekend I was sitting with Donnie ... and he went into the other room and Evan out came with a card that said 'Will' and he handed it to me.
"Then Evan ran away and came in with a card that said 'You.' I started crying and then Evan came into the room with the word 'Marry' - but spelled wrong.
"Last Donnie came out with Evan and Donnie's shirt said 'Me' and he got down on his knee ... Of course, I said 'Yes.' In that moment Evan yelled, 'I have another dad!' and it made all of us cry and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world and he's so wonderful."
The couple - who started dating last summer - are unsure when they will marry.
Jenny admitted: "We don't know yet."
She said they were considering August, but her co-host Barbara Walters said they could tie the knot in her New York home if they marry in September.
However, she added: "On the wedding night, you cannot stay in my apartment."
Jenny previously admitted Donnie had made her reconsider her views on marrying again.
She has said: "I've said on every interview that I was like, 'Never get married again ever,' and, of course, you never say never. I think he would be an amazing husband, so if he does, I would for sure say yes. I wouldn't be surprised if I was the one proposing."
Donnie has two sons from his nine-year marriage to Kim Fey, which ended in 2008.
Britain's Prince George was presented with a giant wombat toy upon his arrival in Australia.
The nine-month-old tot has been pictured looking rather grumpy during his parents' royal tour Down Under, but finally cracked a smile today (16.04.14) when he was given a huge stuffed animal in the shape of the cuddly mammal, which is native to the Commonwealth county.
The adorable present came courtesy of the family's hosts, Sir Peter Cosgrove and his wife, Lady Cosgrove, at the Admiralty House across from the iconic Sydney Opera House.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had just been reunited with baby George after their first official engagement in Australia, held at the Opera House.
According to People magazine, giving a speech in front of 400 young entrepreneurs, sportspeople, charity workers and society leaders, William said: "The affection that my grandmother, the Queen, has for this nation is infectious ... Her Majesty spoke recently of how, since her first visit here 60 years ago, she has been privileged to witness Australia's growing economy and flowering self-confidence.
"For Catherine, Harry and me, born in the early '80s, we've never known anything else - Australia and Australians have always been for us a beacon of confidence, creativity in the arts and sporting ability."
William and Catherine flew into Sydney earlier today after wrapping up their stay in New Zealand. The duchess was sporting a striking yellow dress, which her husband candidly likened to "a banana".
AC/DC's Brian Johnson has slammed claims the band are set to retire.
The frontman, whose band mate Malcolm Young, one of the founding members of the group, is said to be "seriously ill", has rubbished rumours the Australian rock group will soon split and insists they want to make new music.
He told telegraph.co.uk: "We are definitely getting together in May in Vancouver.
"We're going to pick up some guitars, have a plonk, and see if anybody has got any tunes or ideas. If anything happens, we'll record it."
The singer confirmed that one member of the band - thought to be rhythm guitarist Malcolm, the older brother of lead guitarist Angus Young - has been ill, but said that his condition wouldn't necessarily mean the band would stop touring and recording.
He said: "I wouldn't like to say anything either way about the future. I'm not ruling anything out. One of the boys has a debilitating illness, but I don't want to say too much about it.
"He is very proud and private, a wonderful chap. We've been pals for 35 years and I look up to him very much."
AC/DC, also made up of bassist Cliff Williams and drummer Phil Rudd, are planning a tour to mark their 40th anniversary and Brian previously said he would like the band to play 40 concerts in 40 different venues.
He said: "That would be a wonderful way to say bye bye. We would love to do it," adding," But it's all up in the air at the moment."
Meanwhile, Choirboys frontman Mark Gable, who is close friends with Malcolm, 66, told Australia's ABC radio the musician is too sick to perform live again.
He said: "It's not just that he is unwell, it's that it is quite serious. It will constitute that he definitely won't be able to perform live.
"He will probably not be able to record."
Jason Derulo made his latest album for "selfish reasons".
The American singer released his reissued third album 'Talk Dirty' this week, after a career set back when he suffered a neck injury onstage in 2012 and he thinks his new record helped his recovery.
He told the US edition of OK! Magazine: "I think it's [the album] more of a representation of who I am as a person.
"I love to have a good time. I made this album for selfish reasons. I was trying to get myself out of a rut so I wasn't doing it for anyone else, it was me just trying to get myself out of a dark place because of the injury I had.
"It wasn't about writing a hit album, it wasn't about writing a hit song, but it was about making myself feel good and in the end I got an album that you can get to know me better on. That's what I'm excited about. A lot of people have heard the hit songs but who is Jason Derulo?"
The 24-year-old star has worked with a number of big names, including long-term girlfriend Jordin Sparks, Snoop Lion and 2 Chainz and he's pleased with how the record turned out.
He said: "Everything happened organically. Like with the song 'Wiggle' I was like, 'It would be so dope if Snoop was on the track.'
"Then I saw him at the All-Star game and I was like, 'I have this track I want you to hear.' He was like, 'Oh, man, this is crazy. I'll send it back to you within 48 hours.' It all happens differently."
Discussing working with Jordin, he revealed the pair recorded six different songs before they settled on the track 'Vertigo'.
"When I wrote 'Vertigo' I knew it was it. It's just us and the piano so the emotion really comes to life."
Lady Gaga's fans will be situated under the stage on her forthcoming tour.
The eccentric singer is preparing to take her 'artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball' on the road, and the shows will take place on a transparent platform that will "engulf" the audience and allow them to look at the performance from an unusual angle, with some extra-special seats available for some lucky concert-goers.
She said: "I'm really excited for a big, huge, clear stage. ..
"It's like a big party, so sort of like, the stage is these huge panels [that] really engulf the whole audience to the centre of the arena. But they also have space underneath them for you to walk, so you can look up underneath the stage at the dancers and me. There's a VIP area for special fans who've got tickets to sit inside the stage and have their own bar. It's all really fun and it's a big art rave."
And the 'Born This Way' star joked she will be packing plenty of underwear to ensure her modesty is protected.
Speaking to BBC Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills, she added: "Yes, I do have panties, yes. I have more panties than clothes probably."
Sam Bailey is expecting a baby girl.
The 'X Factor' 2013 winner, who is pregnant with her third child, took to her Twitter account today (16.04.14) to announce that she and her husband Craig will welcome another daughter into the world later this year.
She tweeted: "Me and Craig are proud to announce we are having a little girl... A special thank you to @miracleprogress xxxx (sic)."
However, it appears sam's five-year-old son Tommy was hoping for a baby brother rather than another sister.
Sam, 36, who also has eight-year-old daughter Brooke, posted a picture of Tommy with a grumpy expression, which was accompanied with the caption: "Tommy not so pleased that he is having a baby sister!!! Lol (sic)".
The former prison officer found out she was pregnant last month after taking a test in an ASDA supermarket while her husband Craig, 40, was off doing the food shopping.
She said previously: "I went and did it in the toilet while he was getting all the food. I came out and went, 'Yep - I'm pregnant'. It wasn't planned."
Meanwhile, the songbird has been forced to delay her tour, which was planned for October, and was initially worried her management would be disappointed by the news.
She said: "When I got into the car I was really upset because I thought I'd let everyone at my management and the record label down. But they were really good about it. I was going to go on tour solo at the end of October - but I have to move it until January."
'EastEnders' star Lorna Fitzgerald believes Ian Beale will murder his daughter Lucy.
The 18-year-old actress - who plays aspiring vet Abi Branning - has predicted the busybody restaurant owner (Adam Woodyatt) will be behind the tragic death of the 20-year-old businesswoman (Hetti Bywater) next week.
Speaking to Inside Soap magazine, she said: "I'd have to say Ian [is the killer]. I know he's devastated by her death - but I think that's because he killed her!"
Show bosses are keen for the chilling storyline to be as big as the 'Who Shot Phil Mitchell?' plot in 2001, so they are withholding the killer's identity from the cast, crew, and viewers until next February.
Lorna explained: "Everyone at 'EastEnders' is waiting to find out the truth in the same way as the viewers. There was a censored scene in a script the other day, and that put a buzz about the studio."
However, despite the secrecy surrounding the storyline, the brutal murder will give Adam a chance to "shine" following his alter-ego's successful breakdown storyline last year, which saw him flee Walford and return as a tramp.
An insider said previously: "It's been so cleverly plotted that it isn't a typical whodunnit. It's going to be raw, emotional and gritty.
"It will see her dad Ian start to question how well he really knew his daughter as secrets spill out after her death."
James 'Arg' Argent has been receiving a lot more "offers" from women following the leak of his naked 'selfie'.
The 'Only Way Is Essex' star - who has had an on/off relationship with co-star Gemma Collins following his split from Lydia Bright - thinks the female population liked what they saw after an image of him standing in his bathroom showing off his impressive manhood emerged online earlier this year.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I've received more offers I think [after the selfie]. I think girls were quite impressed with what they saw."
Arg realised the image had leaked online when he signed onto his Twitter account and saw people were talking about it, but he was concerned fans would think it was a PR stunt since it happened around the same time as his autobiography 'Living it Arg' was released.
He added: "I found out [about the leaked selfie] when I signed onto my Twitter and it kept flashing up and up and up. Is it like a big coincidence that it come out the same time as my book, I didn't want people to think that. It was just one of those things, I know exactly how it got out there. It wasn't the worst picture I suppose."
Arg will be at Waterstone's, Bluewater this afternoon (16.04.14) signing copies of his book 'Living It Arg', just one of the many exciting activities available at Bluewater this Easter bank holiday. For more info go to Bluewater.co.uk/kids
Helen Flanagan hates her bottom.
The former 'Coronation Street' star, who is no stranger to flashing the flesh, admits she suffers with low self-esteem and can't stand her "non-existent" derrière.
She said: "My natural weight is a size 8 but to get to a 6 I have to work hard. I'm like any normal girl; I get really self-conscious. Sometimes my weight drives me round the bend. I've got good boobs, but I do not like my bum whatsoever. I do squats, but it's non-existent."
Despite her enviable figure, the 23-year-old actress admits she regularly scoffs chocolate and gorges on alcoholic beverages, but tries to maintain a healthy diet.
She explained to OK! magazine: "I eat so much chocolate, especially if I'm hormonal. I like healthy food, but my downfalls are wine, chocolate and coffee."
Helen has also decided to step away from her boob-popping frocks and skimpy skirts as she believes covering up makes her feel "sexier".
She said: "What I've found is covering up is so much better ... I genuinely feel sexier when I cover up."
Meanwhile, the glamour model, who had a nose job last summer, took the opportunity to slam rumours she's gone under the knife recently and claims her structured face is all down to her make-up artist.
She said: "She [my make-up artist] takes two hours to contour, your face looks completely different. It's an art."
Tilda Swinton doesn't "feel like" an actress.
The 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' star - who won an Academy Award for her portrayal of ruthless lawyer Karen Crowder in 'Michael Clayton' in 2007 - can't relate to other actors when they discuss their craft.
She told variety.com: "I don't know what it would take for me to feel like one [actress]. I understand it's a strange thing to say because I do keep saying, 'Yes, I'll dress up and be in your film.' But when I hear proper actors talking about their lives and how they approach their work, I feel like I'm up another tree."
Swinton - who spends a lot of time in the Highlands of Scotland - isn't able to answer how she prepares for roles after she's been cast in a film.
She explained: "When people ask about how I approach a character - well, I wouldn't know how to approach a character if I tried.
"People will ask about choosing a role - I don't choose roles. People will talk to me about preparation. Aside from putting together a disguise, I'm not aware of any preparation at all."
Leonardo DiCaprio will star in 'The Revenant'.
The 39-year-old actor will take on the role of revenge-seeking frontiersman Hugh Glass, who is mauled by a grizzly bear in the movie adaptation of Michael Punke's book - full title 'The Revenant: A Novel ...
Paul Bettany has confirmed his role in the 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'.
The 42-year-old star was rumoured to star as the Vision in the sequel to 2012's hit film 'The Avengers' after he was spotted meeting with director Joss Whedon at Shepperton Studios, near London in February and although he remained coy about the film's plot he insisted his character can do "all sorts of things".
Talking on US chat show 'Jimmy Kimmel Live', he said: "He can do all sorts of things, but I'm not allowed to really talk about them and what we're going to do, because there might be a Marvel agent in the room who will actually wrestle me to the ground and fire me."
Bettany - who was catapulted to the spotlight in 2000's 'Gangster No. 1' - is thought to have had a number of costume, hair and make-up tests in a bid to emulate the Vision's extremely pale complexion.
He joins an all-star cast which includes Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth's (Thor), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk) and Chris Evans (Captain America).
He previously voiced J.A.R.V.I.S. which is Tony Stark's artificially intelligent computer in 'The Avengers', and also voiced him in the three 'Iron Man' films.
'Avengers: Age of Ultron' is tipped for a May 2015 release.
