Kylie Minogue wants to return to acting

Kylie Minogue wants to get back into acting.
The 'I Should Be So Lucky' hitmaker originally got her break on the small screen in 'Neighbours' but failed to make her mark in Hollywood, and she would love to land some roles to boost her profile in the US.
She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "I get such a thrill out of doing that as it takes me back to where I started. It is a completely different challenge.
"And it is nice to not be Kylie for a while. I truly love acting. I guess I get to do some acting in song videos - even putting on a happy face when you don't feel that way."
While Kylie has attempted a big screen switch before - including main roles in box office flops like 'The Delinquents' and 'Street Fighter' - she doesn't feel she has given herself something to be "particularly proud of".
She said: "I have had roles here and there in various films, but nothing much I am particularly proud of.
"Acting is where I started when I was 11 years old, and as we all know 'Neighbours' is the show that I became a household name in. Then when I did 'Delinquents' that was such an exciting new world.
"I knew I was green and this was a learning ground but I did think that would be the road I would take - and it just transpired that it wasn't."

Katie Price: ‘I’ll never speak to Peter Andre again’

Katie Price will "never speak" to Peter Andre again.
The former glamour model claimed her ex-husband still hasn't told her why he wanted to get divorced - their split was finalised in 2009 - and insisted their relationship has become too fractured to even be friends.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday newspaper's Fabulous magazine, she said: "I never wanted a divorce from Peter. That was his decision, not mine.
"He's never, to this day, told me the reason why. We don't speak. Too much has gone on. I'll never speak to him again."
Katie - who divorced second husband Alex Reid in 2011 and has been married to Kieran Hayler since 2013 - admitted she "was devastated" when their relationship came to an end, and explained she doesn't cope well with being single.
She added: "I can be bad ... When Pete left me, I was devastated and I went out drinking and partying.
"It was my way of melting down - I felt like everyone hated me and none of it was my decision. My life fell apart.
"When I'm single, I'm bad. When I'm in a miserable relationship, I'm bad, but when I'm in a good relationship, I'm 'happy Kate.' "

Georgia May Foote to be axed from Coronation Street

Georgia May Foote has been axed from 'Coronation Street' two months after signing a new contract.
The soap star - who plays Katy Armstrong - only recently agreed to an extension on her deal but she was told by bosses they will be writing her out after four years on the show, and while she will be "sorry to say goodbye" she is looking to the future.
According to the Sunday Mirror newspaper, she said: "I have had an amazing four years on 'Coronation Street', I have had some fantastic storylines and worked with some wonderful actors.
"I am very excited about what the future holds. While I will be sorry to say goodbye to Weatherfield I am looking forward to the challenge of new roles."
The 23-year-old star joined the soap in 2010, and was handed a new £100,000-a-year contract in February - only to be axed months later.
However, show boss Stuart Blackburn has confirmed her character won't be "killed off", meaning she may be able to return in the future.
He said: "Katy will not be killed off and the door will be left open for a possible return. We wish Georgia every success with her future career."

Stephanie Waring blasts ‘heartless’ Kym Marsh

Stephanie Waring is "shocked and upset" at Kym Marsh for dating her ex-boyfriend.
The 'Hollyoaks' star has admitted she was devastated when she heard that her friend was getting close to her former lover, insisting the 'Coronation Street' actress has broken "an unwritten rule".
Stephanie - whose texts to Kym were brushed off - told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "She's carried on with him knowing what it's done to me. It is killing me.
"I considered her a friend who I've known for years. I had no idea that she would ever do anything like this ... There is an unwritten rule that if you are friends with somebody you don't go near their ex partners."
The 36-year-old star has branded Kym "heartless" for her romance with Dan Hooper - which began he and Stephanie broke up - and insisted it is even worse because they have three-year-old daughter Lexi-Grace together.
She added: "He's not just some guy that I went out with for a year. This is a man I spent half a decade with and have a child with.
"Any woman who has had their heart broken and who is going through a break up can sympathise with this. He could have gone out with some 20-year-old hairdresser.
"He's a a free and single man who can do as he pleases. But Kym I actually considered a friend who I've known for years. It's left me in bits. She's heartless."

Ian Anderson to record more music

Ian Anderson plans to make "one or two" more albums before he stops recording.
The Jethro Tull frontman, whose new record 'Homo Erraticus' reached number 14 in the UK Album Charts, his highest charting solo record to date, still has plans to tour but might not want to record too many records in the future.
He said: "I'm heading off to various parts of the world on tour during the rest of this year and into 2015 again before I take a break to record something.
"There's maybe one or two more recordings in me before I decide I've done enough."
But as a performer, Ian, 66, claims he is lucky to still be able to tour and health is on his side, therefore he wants to make the most of it.
He explained: "I might find myself even going back to New Zealand and Australia. I can get on doing what I do for as long as I can, without fear of getting the sack or stopping on age related grounds," adding, "If you had my job, you wouldn't really think about retiring unless it's thrust upon you."
The singer's next record will be a "string quartet album" featuring music ideal for "funerals and weddings."
Ian told BANG Showbiz: "A lot of people do like those big moments in their lives to have a big piece of music mark the passage into life or death. I think it'd be quite nice to make a record that would consist of music which someone could say, 'We could play this at our daughter's wedding.' "
Ian is set to go out on tour from next week with dates across the UK, kicking off at the Brighton Dome on Monday April 28. He play tracks from his new album and a number of Jethro Tull classic. Tickets and information is available at Gigantic.com/artist/ian-anderson.

‘Lucky’ Leslie Mann

Leslie Mann feels "really lucky" to be a working mother.
The 'Other Woman' actress - who has children Iris, 11, and Maude, 15, with husband Judd Apatow - knows females in their 40s don't necessarily find it easy to get their careers back on track after taking breaks to raise their families.
Leslie, 42, said: "It's fun to be able to work like this at my age.
"I'm so lucky I was able to have a career when I was younger and I was able to have my kids and stay home with them.
"And now that I get to work again? I mean, I am really lucky. I have a lot of 'mom friends' who aren't in my industry and they talk about how tricky it is now their kids are older and they want to go back to work. Getting back into the workforce isn't as easy at 40 as it is at 20."
The 'This is 40' actress relies heavily on her group of close friends and doesn't know how she would cope without them.
She told Stylist magazine: "I don't know what I'd do without my girlfriends. I have the same best friends I've had since middle school and they're super, they have my back and I have theirs.
"I love spending time with my husband but I really need my girlfriends."

Iggy Azalea has met boyfriend’s family

Iggy Azalea has met her boyfriend's family.
The 'Fancy' hitmaker has been dating LA Lakers star, Nick Young, since late last year and they have now taken their relationship to the next level.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, the Australian star said: "I have met his family, his family are really nice.
"I wish he could meet my family but they're so far away."
The 23-year-old rapper had just met Nick when she went off to support Beyoncé on the Australian leg of her 'Mrs Carter World Tour' and the distance between them made he realise she wanted their relationship to be "official".
She said: "He was kind of not my boyfriend at the time. We were talking then but we weren't official.
"We were kind of dating and talking and I'd just met him and then I'd gone off on this tour and it was like, 'Will I? Won't I?' I guess we kind of missed each other because I came back off the tour and that was that."
Iggy recently revealed that her first date with Nick was at discount store Target.
She admitted: "It's kind of funny actually, we went out for dinner after this. But at first I was like, "Target is my favourite place, I wanna go to Target!" So I made him take me!
"We went out to dinner with nice linen tablecloths and everything afterwards."
Iggy's album 'The New Classic' is out now.

Kimberley Walsh’s birth nerves

Kimberley Walsh is "nervous" about giving birth.
The former Girls Aloud singer is expecting her first child with partner Justin Scott, and though she intends to stay as relaxed as possible during her labour, she is still wary of things going wrong.
She said: "Birth is the most amazing thing, but I'm nervous about complications - that's why I wouldn't have a home birth.
"I'm planning to try hypnobirthing classes, though. It's all state of mind - well, for the first few hours of labour. If I can relax at all during that time, it's worth a go."
Kimberley is trying to take care of herself during her pregnancy and is doing her best to eat well.
She told Britain's OK! magazine: "The bump is getting bigger and my stomach is getting harder. I don't have cravings anymore, but I'm enjoying my food. It's really hard to gauge what the right amount is, but I don't want to count calories. I just want to enjoy it and make sure my baby has everything it needs.
"I'm eating a healthy, balanced diet, which is the most important thing."

Cameron Diaz isn’t looking for Mr. Right

Cameron Diaz isn't looking for the perfect guy.
The 41-year-old actress - who recently claimed that "everyone will be cheated on" by a lover at some point in their life - insists she's not actively searching for a man to share her life with.
However, if the right guy comes along naturally then Cameron would still be open to pursuing a relationship with them.
Serial dater Cameron said: "I don't think you find them, I think they find you. My feeling about it is you should just be open to receiving."
The blonde beauty also revealed she believes that people can have soul mates, but doesn't think that humans have just one person they can connect with on such a deep and meaningful level.
Cameron - whose previous boyfriends include Justin Timberlake, Jared Leto, and baseball player Alex Rodriguez - is quoted by Us Weekly magazine as saying: "There are many soulmates. My soul has a lot of different facets and it needs a lot of different men. Friends, too. Friends can be soulmates!"
Cameron formed a close bond with her co-star Kate Upton on the set of 'The Other Woman' and she showed the Sports Illustrated model how to be a "proper adult" when she celebrated her 21st birthday last June.
She said: "We celebrated Kate's 21st birthday in the Hamptons. We showed her what it was like to be a proper adult!"

George Clooney engaged?

George Clooney and his girlfriend Amal Alamuddin have fuelled rumours they're engaged.
The couple have sparked speculation they're heading for the aisle after the 36-year-old lawyer was spotted showing off a diamond sparkler on her ring finger as they indulged in sushi at Nobu in Malibu on Thursday (24.04.14).
According to Entertainment Tonight, the couple, who are yet to confirm they are even dating, were joined by Cindy Crawford and actor Edward Norton.
The website claims: "Multiple sources confirm that they saw Amal showing off a ring to Cindy, the wife of Clooney's business partner Rande Gerber."
The pair - who were first linked after a dinner date in October - have been getting serious in recent months and were most recently seen at a special screening of George's movie 'Monuments Men' at the White House in February.
An onlooker said at the time: "His arm was around her shoulder and she had hers around his. They just seemed very, very together."
George's romance with Amal came shortly after he split from Stacy Keibler last July, who reportedly ended their relationship because the Hollywood hunk didn't want to settle down and have children.
Meanwhile, the actress-and-model swiftly moved on, marrying Jared Pobre in a romantic ceremony in Mexico last month, and is already expecting a baby.

Selena Gomez turns to religion to avoid rehab

Selena Gomez has turned to religion to avoid rehab.
The 21-year-old singer, who sought treatment in January, has began attending church as she believes a "spiritual gap" is the reason she's suffering from depression.
A source told the HollywoodLife.com: "Selena is trying to change her ways by going to church and more so to avoid going to rehab. She feels like she has a spiritual gap and that maybe that's why she is struggling.
"She learned about the spiritual aspect in rehab when they talked about the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous."
The 'Come & Get It' hitmaker has also decided to cut the people she considers to be a source of negativity out of her life because she wants to focus on her career.
The brunette beauty reportedly dumped her on/off boyfriend Justin Bieber last week after she became convinced he was getting close to Kylie Jenner at the Coachella music festival in California earlier this month.
Selena also cut ties with the reality TV star and her sister Kendall, 18, by unfollowing the sisters on Instagram and deleting all her pictures with the pair.
However, her friends and family think she is channelling her emotions in the wrong place and want her to focus on cutting Justin, 20, out of her life.
A source said previously: "Selena is in a really bad place at the moment -- she's on the edge and now overcome with jealousy. She really needs to wash her hands of Justin for good."

Paul Walker’s brother not used to his death

Paul Walker's brother admits his death "still doesn't feel real".
Cody, 25, still hasn't come to terms with the passing of the actor, who died in a car crash in November, and he believes it will take him a long time to get used to it.
Speaking to the Associated Press, he said: "Right now, a whole lot of time has not gone by yet. It still doesn't feel real, because sometimes, working in this industry, making films, he'd be away from his family three, four, six months at a time, you know. And my only interaction would be a phone call. So, I know it's going to take a while."
However, Cody is seeking comfort in remembering Paul's legacy after he recently became brand manager of Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW), which is a non-profit disaster-relief organisation, founded by the late star in 2010.
Fighting back the tears, he said: "He was just so low-key. He just lived such a modest life."
He added: "He would tell me how jealous of me he was because I still had my anonymity. And he's like, 'I can't just go to the movies. I can't catch the films I want to see. You've still got that, man.' And here he is, talking. It was just so funny to hear that come from him."
Meanwhile, Cody and his brother Caleb have signed on to help finish Paul's final movie 'Fast & Furious 7' as the late actor was half-way through shooting when he died.
The movie is set for release on April 10, 2015.
