Charlotte Crosby proud of bruised bum

Charlotte Crosby wanted to prove how "hard" she was by posting pictures of her bruised bum on Instagram.
The 'Geordie Shore' star shocked fans earlier this year when she shared a montage of her mystery injuries, which included a nasty, purple-coloured swelling on each buttock, and has now revealed she was so proud of her ailments sustained during filming for her new TLC show 'The Charlotte Crosby Experience' that she felt compelled to strip off and flaunt them.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "They weren't filming it, which is a shame because I would love to watch it back. I had a little bit of an accident! I fell down a stone staircase and I split me arm open and I bruised me bum really badly.
"I wanted to show off about it because I felt like I was some kind of hard person. You know when people break their leg and they look really hard, I've never done anything like this before so was like, 'I'm whacking this on Instagram!' I wanted everyone to worry. I wanted to show people that I can handle anything."
Charlotte also set tongues waggling when she shared a snapshot of a red roses tattoo on her thigh, which people instantly likened to fellow Geordie Cheryl Cole's controversial inking, but the reality star admits she actually nicked the idea off Instagram.
The former 'Celebrity Big Brother' winner said: "I saw it on the Instagram popular page and copied it. That is literally all. I did that with me first tattoo as well.
"I know people are saying it's like Cheryl Cole's tattoo, but it was actually some really sexy girl's she was so slim and tanned with big, dark hair. She was wearing a bikini and she had these roses on the side of her hip. It looked so amazing."
But the party-mad brunette insists she won't be following in tattoo-obsessed celebrities like Harry Styles and Justin Bieber's footsteps.
She added: "I don't think I'm going to be getting any more tattoos now, these two will do it. It can go too far, that's it for me."
'The Charlotte Crosby Experience' airs Tuesdays at 9pm from April 29 on TLC.

Fern Britton proud of the Big Allotment Challenge

Fern Britton has compared 'The Big Allotment Challenge' to 'One Born Every Minute'.
The former 'This Morning' presenter likens her experience on the new BBC Two competitive gardening show to watching a baby's birth, much like the popular midwifery reality series, because of the long growing process and the anticipation once the fruit and vegetables are ready.
Fern told BANG Showbiz: "When you pull this carrot from the ground you don't know what it's going to look like, it's like a birth of this thing [the gardeners] have been incubating. It's like 'One Born Every Minute', or [better yet] 'One Pulled Every Minute'."
The series sees nine pairs of contestants given a series of challenges each week, including growing fruit and vegetables, flower arranging, and cooking using produce they grow in their own allotment or greenhouse.
Fern also brushed off comparisons to 'The Great British Bake Off', explaining how many months of preparation go into the art of gardening.
She said: "I personally think it's great to be anywhere near as successful of 'Bake Off' and if it is, then that's great. But if you're doing the 'Bake Off' it's a couple of hours of baking this is four months of getting ready before we've even turned up.
"So there is a hell of a lot of effort these guys put in from March until the end of August."
'The Big Allotment Challenge' airs Tuesday nights on BBC Two.

Chris Martin: I have issues

Chris Martin has suggested his own "issues" were responsible for the breakdown of his marriage.
The Coldplay frontman - who announced last month he and wife Gwyneth Paltrow were separating after 10 years of marriage - admits he has been a "mess" for some time because of his struggle to accept the good things in his life.
Asked if his marriage problems have inspired Coldplay's new album 'Ghost Stories', he said: "I wouldn't use the word breakdown, this was more a realisation about trying to grow up basically. Like I said, if you can't open yourself up, you can't appreciate the wonder inside. So you can be with someone very wonderful, but because of your own issues you cannot let that be celebrated in the right way....
"About two years ago I was a mess really because I can't enjoy the thing that we are good at and I can't enjoy the great things around me because I'm burdened by this - I've got to not blame anyone else and make some changes."
The 'Magic' hitmaker - who has children Apple, nine, and Moses, eight, with Gwyneth - also admitted he had found it difficult to "let love in".
Speaking to DJ Zayn Lowe, he said: "Up to a certain point in my life I wasn't completely vulnerable and it caused some problems. If you don't let love really in then you can't really give it back. So what 'Ghost Stories' means to me is like you've got to open yourself up to love and if you really do, of course it will be painful at times, but then it will be great at some point."
But the 'Fix You' singer thinks it is important to face "challenges" in life head on and wasn't afraid to be honest about his personal woes in his new album.
He added: "I think in life everyone needs to be broken in some way... I think everyone in their life goes through challenges, whether it's love or money, kids, or illness... You have to really not run away from that stuff. Life throws these colorful challenges at you ... what we decided to do on 'Ghost Stories' was to really be honest about it and say, this is what's been happening."
The full hour-long interview with Chris will be broadcast tonight (28.04.14) at 8pm on Zayn's BBC Radio 1 show.

Katy Perry enjoys date with Diplo

Katy Perry and DJ Diplo went on a date last week.
The 'Roar' hitmaker and her musician friend - who were first romantically linked at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival earlier this month - were spotted enjoying an intimate meal at the Marlton Hotel in New York City on Thursday (24.04.14), before heading to the 'Amazing Spider-Man 2' after-party at Skylight at Moynihan Station, where they were "very affectionate" with one another.
A source said: "They were very affectionate, very lovey-dovey.
"[When they weren't all over each other, they were constantly looking at each other."
However, the pair ensured they weren't pictured together as they left the bash.
The source added to People: "As they departed, they quickly separated. She didn't want it to look like they were together, but they were."
The following evening, Katy - who was previously married to Russell Brand and split from John Mayer earlier this year after 18 months of dating - attended a birthday party at 1Oak, where Diplo was performing.
While the 'Part of Me' hitmaker seems smitten with the producer, friends are worried the romance could lead to her getting hurt again.
One worried pal told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Diplo always has girls throwing themselves at him, and it's fair to say he has his fun partying with them.
"But he's also got a three-year-old son with his on-off girlfriend that he doesn't see that often as he's on tour a lot.
"He also had a public fallout with his other ex, MIA, who he dated for five years, so Katy's friends are worried she could end up getting hurt - again - by a guy who's seen as a bit of a lothario."

Alex Turner: Success doesn’t come from awards

Alex Turner insists success in the music industry does not come from winning awards.
The Arctic Monkeys frontman, who admitted the band's BRIT Awards this year for Best Group and Best Album for 'AM' didn't mean much to him, claims he was just being honest.
He said: "I don't step up to accept a trophy for a race I didn't know I was running and act as thought it's something I've been dreaming of since I was a little boy, because it's not the truth.
"If that is the truth for you, fine, but it's not ever been about that - I think any sort of victory in this trek comes with the conception of a song or an idea, not with a trophy or a pat on the back."
Alex's improvised acceptance speech at the BRITs, in which he claimed "rock 'n' roll will never die", was frowned upon by some critics but guitarist Jamie Cook claims attitude is all part of being in the industry but it can only take an artist so far.
Drummer Matt Helders explained: "People can have a rock 'n' roll attitude and never be in a band. You can dress like that."
Alex added: "It's easier to say what it isn't. A haircut or a belt buckle. It doesn't even occur to some people that there is a rock 'n' roll - so, me saying that might give someone an idea. It's a beacon in your peripheral vision. You can't draw someone a map to it."

Die Hard director John McTiernan says his films are ’embarrassing’

'Die Hard' director John McTiernan finds his movies "embarrassing."
The 63-year-old filmmaker - who has given his first interview since release from prison in February - is best known for his action films including 'Predator' and 'The Hunt for Red October' and despite his success he finds it difficult to watch a movie back without being critical.
He told Empire magazine: "I find all of my movies embarrassing. I'm not saying they're bad but I sit there groaning. Cuts I'm not happy with, parts where I f**ked up. I find them emotionally difficult."
McTiernan insists he changed the scope of 1998 hit film 'Die Hard', starring Bruce Willis, and transformed it from being a "terrorist" film into a "date night" movie.
He said: "The original screenplay was a grim terrorist movie. On my second week working on it, I said, 'Guys, there's no part of terrorism that's fun. Robbers are fun bad guys. Let's make this a date movie'. And they had the courage to do it."

Diane Keaton says her exes were ‘mesmerising’

Diane Keaton thinks her ex-boyfriends were all "mesmerising people."
The 68-year-old actress, who previously dated Woody Allen, Al Pacino and Warren Beatty, admits they helped her feel more confident.
She told People magazine: "I really appreciated them, are you kidding? They were absolutely mesmerising people. Sometimes they made me feel better about myself.
"Warren was really good at feeding you ideas about yourself that were just, you know, not possible. That I was so talented, so.... I remember thinking he's lying, but I'm just going to go with it.
"I remember Woody looking at me, we were sitting on a park bench, and he said, 'I wonder if I'd think you were attractive if I didn't know you.' I laughed because, hello! You jerk, how dare you say that to me? But it was funny."
The actress admits she has no desire to go under the knife in a bid to preserve her looks.
She said: "When I grew up (plastic surgery) was the thing you would never do. That was horrible - you weren't authentic. Now I don't believe that for a second, but there's a point where you can't do it anymore because you become, like, a freak. People do the face-lift or the filler, and if you're too old you need to do both and you've created a new face. I haven't done anything."

Kenda Wilkinson’s mum ‘upset’ over rift

Kendra Wilkinson's mother is "upset" she hasn't spoken to her daughter since last October.
The reality TV star, who is due to give birth to her second child next month, hasn't spoken to her brother Colin and her mother Patricia, who believe fame has gone to her head and turned her into an "inconsiderate b***h," since October.
Patricia told the US edition of OK! magazine: "I have not seen or heard from Kendra since October 17, 2013 and I am deeply sad, upset and hurt."
The fight kicked off when Patricia rang the former Playboy star, to enquire whether the pregnancy rumours were true, and Kendra allegedly told her mother to "go die".
And things have escalated since then.
Patricia said: "Kendra seems to have this deep-seated hatred toward me and I cannot figure out why. Until a sincere apology comes my way, we won't be part of each other's lives."

Justin Bieber wanted to propose in Central Park

Justin Bieber wanted to propose to his future wife in Central Park.
The 20-year-old singer had his sights set on popping the question to his beau in the famous spot in Manhattan, New York City, but he's since changed his mind.
The troubled star posted a picture on his Instagram account yesterday (26.04.14) of himself in the urban park.
He accompanied the snap with the caption: "Was gonna wait to go to Central Park for when I proposed to my future wife but sh*t sometimes things change. I'll think of something more romantic. (sic)."
The cryptic post comes just a few weeks after Justin's on/off girlfriend Selena Gomez ended their relationship after she became infuriated with his closeness to Kylie Jenner at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival.
A source said previously: "Selena is convinced something has gone on between Justin and Kylie.
"At Coachella they looked to be back on track. Selena was hanging out with Kylie too and they were behaving like best friends.
"Then she heard stuff about Justin and Kylie and felt totally betrayed. She went berserk and called it all off again."
Selena, who has been romantically linked to Justin for three years, has now decided to channel her emotions into religion as she's determined to stay out of rehab after her brief three-week stint earlier this year.

Ellen Page is selling her Studio City home for $1 million. The 'Juno' star bought the property for $885,000 in 2011, but she's now decided to put it on the market after forking out $1,701 million on a house in Hollywood Hills. The modern home, whic...

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber to wed?

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber want to get married.
The couple, who have sons Alexander, six, and Samuel, five, have been together for nine years and are considering taking their relationship to the next level by tying the knot.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "While Naomi and Liev have had their ups and downs, including a cancelled New Year's Eve wedding right before 2008, they've finally worked out their differences and are rethinking marriage."
The pair reportedly grew closer after Naomi, 45, was heavily criticised for playing the late Princess Diana in her biopic, which was a flop at the box office, last year.
The source explained: "Liev really admired how Naomi rose above the flak she got for Diana - a role he really thought she'd win awards for. She was totally broken-hearted over that movie and Liev has played a huge role in getting her confidence back so she could carry on with four more films she has in production."
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty recently admitted she was instantly attracted to the hunk when she met him at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala in 2005 and she couldn't possibly let him slip away.
She said previously: "I was wildly attracted to him and his work, so I said something cheeky as he was about to walk out. I said, 'Don't you want my digits?' Because I couldn't possibly say, 'Would you like my phone number?'
"It made him laugh. He texted me five minutes later saying, 'Would you like to go for a drink now?' And I said, 'No, I'll meet you for breakfast tomorrow.' "
