Bradley Cooper’s ex-wife trashes him in new book

Bradley Cooper's ex-wife has reportedly called him a "master manipulator".
The 'American Hustle' star, who was briefly married to actress Jennifer Esposito from December 2006 until May 2007, is believed to be the mystery men mentioned in her new book 'Jennifer's Way', according to New York Daily News.
The 41-year-old star describes the man as "funny, smart, cocky, arrogant and a master manipulator", claiming that she didn't "necessarily find him that attractive" when they first met but they quickly became a couple.
The 'Blue Bloods' star, who has written the book mostly about her lifelong battle with celiac disease, went on to say the boyfriend had a "mean, cold side", and his personality "could flip on a dime."
Jennifer claims their relationship was unhealthy and she felt as though she was a "nonissue".
She added: "I became very sad and I felt very alone", before she attended a seminar in Los Angeles, after which the relationship "hit an all-time low" and within a week it was over.
Speaking about the couple's break-up, she said it happened: "Abruptly, rudely, and with the exact callousness that I'd come to expect from him."
Bradley, 39, who is now dating 22-year-old model Suki Waterhouse, has only briefly spoken about his marriage to Jennifer.
He said: "It was just something that happened. The good thing, we both realised it ... Sometimes you just realise it. It just wasn't right."

Britney Spears offered $12 million to extend residency

Britney Spears is close to extending her Las Vegas residency.
The 'Perfume' singer, whose show 'Piece of Me' at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino has been a huge success, has reportedly been offered $12 million to continue performing until 2016.
According to New York Daily News, the pop star is close to securing a deal with Ceasers Entertainment, the parent company of Planet Hollywood, to stay on at the venue.
Ceasers Palace President, Gary Selesner, said: "Britney Spears has been a great success for the company and will be extended, if she wants to do it, and I cannot see why not.
"She has been filling the place every night, and she is enjoying it and is in good health."
The 32-year-old star was scheduled to perform 50 shows per year in 2014 and 2015 as part of the initial deal, earning her an impressive $30 million, and Gary admitted it was a "gamble" in the beginning but he is now happy with how popular the show is and wants her to return for further dates.
The show, directed by Baz Halpin, runs for 90 minutes and began on December 27 at the 4,600-capacity Axis theatre, which is booked by Live Nation.
Stars including Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez and Katy Perry are among those who have been to see Britney's popular show, which celebrates her career in music.
It has also been reported that 'Piece of Me' is outselling Elton John and Celine Dion's Las Vegas shows.

Bryan Cranston: Godzilla couldn’t make meth

Bryan Cranston thinks Godzilla would be "horrible" at making crystal meth.
The 'Breaking Bad' actor, who sold the drug as Walter 'Heisenberg' White in the series, joked about the monster not being able to make it at the premiere of his new movie at the Odeon in London's Leicester Square tonight (11.05.14).
Bryan exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I think Godzilla would be horrible at making crystal meth. You've got to be very refined to be able to make it. He's a monster, you know, they have a very destructive nature."
The 58-year-old actor, who stars alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen in the film directed by Gareth Edwards, also claims his character, nuclear scientist Joe Brody, is more like him than Walter White or Hal, who he played in 'Malcolm In The Middle'.
He said: " They're all pretty different. I'm not like hal and I'm nothing like Walter White. Maybe this guy in this movie is most like me."
Co-star Elizabeth admitted she hasn't seen many episodes of 'Breaking Bad' and finds it surprising how fans Brian has.
She said: "It's amazing how many fans he has. I don't watch it 'Breaking Bad', I've seen like three episodes. I feel like I'm the only human that doesn't watch it."
The 25-year-old actress also claims her and co-star Aaron have a "playful" relationship on set and she's looking forward to working with him more on 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'.
She said: "We didn't actually have many scenes together in this so it's nice to get to know each other better working on 'Avengers'. We definitely have that playful, stupid relationship."
'Godzilla' is in cinemas from May 16.

Biffy Clyro plan experimental album

Biffy Clyro's next album will feature beatboxing, "black metal pop" and "stoner-reggae".
The 'Mountains' rockers are excited about going into the recording studio to start work on the eclectic new record, and frontman Simon Neil says he loves to "surprise" himself and their fans.
He said: "I've written about 14 songs, we probably won't start recording properly until next year, but I'm really f***ing excited about it at the moment.
"I don't want people to think the whole album will sound like this, but I've written my first ever beatbox song, and I've written a black metal pop song which I can't wait for people to hear. There's also some cool stoner-reggae s**t going on, believe it or not.
"We're still looking to do new things and surprise ourselves. It's really exciting."
The group will headline T in the Park this year - their tenth appearance at the event - and are amazed at how far they've come since their first appearance, which saw them land a record deal afterwards.
Simon told NME magazine: "T in the Park is kind of like home for our band, and it's where we've cut our teeth at every level.
"It was the first place where we played a big stage, it was the first place we played to 10,000 people, throughout the life of this band it's been a marker for us.
"So it feels poetic we're going to be headlining it, in our 15th year."

Zac Efron doesn’t regret missing university

Zac Efron has no regrets about skipping university.
The 26-year-old actor, who shot to fame as a teenager in the 'High School Musical' franchise, doesn't have any qualms about not pursuing a degree because his leap into acting paid off.
He said: "This was my chance. Even on the hardest days of it, with the paparazzi and all of the attention, it's worth it to be able to be part of the movies.
"When 'High School Musical' finished, I saw the potential to continue to act and learn this craft. I'm lucky to be here. That said, I think there's a lot of things you have to learn on your own and if you're working, you don't get to do them. I was suddenly an adult at 17, making adult decisions."
The 'Bad Neighbours' star sought treatment twice last year foralleged alcohol and cocaine addiction and he admits his stints in rehab have made him value life more and scale back on work.
He told Britain's Glamour magazine: "It's important to find a balance and all I could do before was work, work, work. I'm more centred now that I've been in ages."

Rihanna rejects X Factor role?

Rihanna has rejected an offer to be a judge on 'The X Factor'.
The singer was Simon Cowell's first choice to join Cheryl Cole on this year's panel, but it is said bosses have realised they won't be able to get her to agree to a deal.
An insider told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "Rihanna was Simon's ultimate choice and was right at the top of ITV's hitlist.
"Having her on the panel next to Cheryl and Simon would have been a ratings-winning dream but everyone has accepted it's not going to happen now."
Meanwhile, Simon has insisted a final decision on the judging panel won't be made until Louis Walsh's future is clear.
The media mogul is fighting for his friend, but admitted ITV bosses and returning coach Cheryl weren't keen on having him on board.
Speaking at the London cabaret Club's launch, he said: "We are waiting to see if Louis is back before deciding the fourth spot. ITV and Cheryl don't want him to come back but he will be if I get my way.
"We've seen a few people for the job but I think ITV are slowly coming round to my way of thinking.
"Louis is very underrated. People are finally realising how good he is."

Jonathan Ross promises show shake-up

Jonathan Ross has promised to come back stronger for the next series of his chat show.
The ITV host's reputation slipped after a slightly disappointing run that saw BBC rival Graham Norton overtake him in the ratings, but he is determined to "shake up" his programme to reclaim the top spot.
He told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "I'm like a vampire. I keep coming back .. We'll be shaking up the format of the show in October - that will be the first big shake-up in a while.
"We do it every six years to keep the show fresh. So expect a few new surprises - and we're still striving to get top guests.
"It will be a shorter run this time so I'l get a little time to rest."
The recent sixth series only pulled in 2.7 million viewers for its finale, while The Graham Norton Show had a consistent audience of more than three million.
Jonathan has blasted his rival in the past, claiming high-profile guests appear on his programme to get softer questions.
He previously said: "It's tricky. I think Graham gets first bite of film guests. Some stars prefer his show over mine before they're less protected on my programme.
"If they go on Graham's, three guests all sit together on the sofa. He recently had Jude Law on his show who could hide behind fellow guest Dame Judi Dench. On my programme they can't do that."

Arnold Schwarzenegger ‘excited’ about Conan movie

Arnold Schwarznegger is excited about 'The Legend of Conan'
The 'Sabotage' actor is delighted to finally have a new installment of the series - which he previously starred in in 1982 and 1984 - underway because previously not having the right budget or director for the film made it difficult to take up offers to reprise his role as the muscular sword and sorcery hero.
He said: "They said 'Do you want to play Conan? I thought 'Oh it will be great to be back' because it's all of the original characters.
"I've tried to do more Conan movies [ in the past], but the people who have owned the rights I didn't want to do Conan movies with, if they weren't on the level of big movies, you know it needed the budget behind it, the director behind it, then it can be a proper movie."
Meanwhile, the 66-year-old actor also says he felt "honoured" to be offered the chance to return as the destructive cyborg in 'Terminator 5' next year despite critics who are concerned his age could jeopardise the continuity of the story.
He gushed: "So the 'Terminator' movie came to me, and I felt very honoured and because there are people who they could have got to do it but they decided to cast me back in the film."

Lily Allen understands safe choices

Lily Allen understands the music industry's need to play it safe.
The 29-year-old singer has previously admitted her single choices - particularly 'Air Balloon' - to promote her new album 'Sheezus' haven't been the best, but she understands why record label bosses opt to release radio friendly pop tracks compared to her more risqué material.
She explained: "People fear for their jobs in this economy. No one wants to approve something that might offend. But the simple answer is, if people paid for music instead of stealing it, we'd be in a position where people would go with their gut instincts instead of being scared of losing their jobs. But I don't blame anybody. I write all my songs. I just feel sad that the record industry doesn't work like it used to."
The outspoken star claims she'd love to go against the grain and release the more daring songs on her album, like the title track - which talks about the rivalry among pop divas to be number one - but she ultimately has to answer to her record label.
Lily added in an interview with Britain's Glamour magazine: "I'd like to, but unfortunately I signed a record deal! I took a mortgage out on myself, that's how it works."

Tisha Merry’s ‘strange obsession’ with Filofaxes

'Coronation Street' star Tisha Merry has a "strange obsession" with Filofaxes.
The actress - who portrays Steph Britton on the ITV show - is really organised and spends time decorating her Filofax which keeps her life in order.
She told InsideSoap magazine: "I can't believe I'm telling you this, but I have a strange obsession with Filofaxes! I will look at the Filofaxes fan club online and see how other people accessorise theirs! I'm so organised, I have everything planned with colour co-ordinated stickers! My Filofax may be the most expensive thing I own."
Tisha admits that she often gets recognised as being a soap star and always has fans asking who killed Tina McIntyre, in the highly anticipate storyline which will see screen beauty Michelle Keegan exit the show.
She added: "[Fans] will always say one of two things. Firstly, they will say 'You look so much like that girl from Corrie', if I can get away then, I will. But I can't they will go on to ask, 'Do you know who is going to kill Tina?' I should probably confess it was me! Also, a few of the boys have asked me to pass their numbers on to Michelle."
