Ed Sheeran collaborated with Usher after the pair bonded at a Passover dinner.
The 'Drunk' hitmaker, who is set to release his second album 'x' next month, met the star during the Jewish holiday, which runs between April 14 and April 22 and they quickly hit it off and decided to record a song together.
Ed told DJ Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1: "I was at a Passover dinner and sat next to Usher, it was quite random.
"I met him once before, but never enough to be like 'Yo what's up man?' but he went over to me with his phone and he's like 'Yo check it out' and he downloaded 'Sing'.
"And he was like 'Yo, man, do you want to get in the studio sometime?' and I was like 'Yes, Usher, I would love to get into the studio sometime.'"
The 23-year-old singer-songwriter didn't hang around and sent Usher a text at 1am the day after with music ideas and soon found himself in the studio with Usher, Diplo and Skrillex.
He explained: "[Usher was] like, 'Yeah, we are just getting started. And I went down and we made this awesome song. I had this guitar idea on my phone it was literally just a voice note and I emailed it to Skrillex then he took it in sampled it and made a beat out of it, and then me and Usher just went back and forth on melody ideas and lyric ideas."
Ed confirmed the as-yet untitled collaboration will most likely appear on Usher's next album, which is due for release later this year.
Britain's Prince George enjoyed a secret ice-cream trip during his stay in New Zealand.
The youngest member of the royal family escaped to Frank Kitts Park, Wellington, to savour his first ice-cream with his Spanish nanny Maria Borrallo while his parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were hard at work touring New Zealand last month.
The nine-month-old baby managed to avoid the cameras for a rare afternoon, no doubt a welcome break from being the centre of attention during his first official public outings.
The pair went completely unnoticed by passers-by, who missed George nibbling on his nanny's 99 Flake cone.
Barry Ludlow, the Mr Freeze ice cream van owner who served them the tasty treat, told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "There were plenty of people walking around the waterfront, there were children everywhere, but I don't think anyone saw them.
"They didn't look out of place at all."
Wellington's Mayor Celia Wade-Brown added: "I have heard rumours from people that the nanny and Prince George were out and about in the city and were seen places, and one of the rumours was that they were at Frank Kitts Park.
"I hope they enjoyed a chance to have some peace and quiet without being recognised by anyone."
George is currently resting at home after a hectic three weeks in Australia and New Zealand, where he was showered with attention from fans and photographed incessantly.
Russell Brand is letting homeless friends stay at his Los Angeles mansion.
The comedian and actor, who has been spending more time in London with girlfriend Jemima Khan, has stunned his pals with his generosity in allowing them to "chill out" at his lavish $3.4 million pad while he is away.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "It's keeping a roof over their heads, and they're good people who don't bother anyone so he doesn't see the harm.
"They just chill out and watch TV in the home cinema, or relax by the pool overlooking LA.
"They're never seen anything like it in their lives. They're in awe of Russell and his generosity."
The 38-year-old star's Beverly Hills mansion is just yards away from properties owned by Jennifer Aniston and Keanu Reeves but Russell makes sure his guests are supervised during their stay so that they don't annoy his celebrity neighbours.
The source continued: "Russell knows having his pals unsupervised would be pushing his luck, and probably his neighbours' patience.
"So he's got a friend of his from the charity he runs to stay over with them and make sure everything's in order. It's been working out fine."
In the past, the comedian, who is a former heroin addict, has given homeless people lifts in a car, taken them out for meals and handed out cash in the street.
He was also once seen helping a man riffle through a rubbish bin.
Rihanna threw a star-studded party after the Met Gala on Monday (05.05.14).
The 'Diamonds' hitmaker changed from Stella McCartney crop top and full-length skirt into a revealing gold gown for the bash at New York nightspot Up & Down, where she joined revellers including Naomi Campbell, Selena Gomez, Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren, Bradley Cooper and girlfriend Suki Waterhouse, John Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen, Leonardo DiCaprio and Lupita N'Yongo in partying until 4am.
Designer Alexander Wang hired a party bus - complete with music, neon lights and a stripper pole - to take himself and guests including Kristen Wiig, Nicole Richie and Zoe Kravitz from the Metropolitan Museum to the party, and they had a great time on the journey.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Everybody was laughing and dancing as they piled in. Kristen was swaying with her friends around the pole to the music, while Nicole texted away on her cellphone."
On arriving at the bash, guests were greeted by Rihanna and handed D'usse cocktails and many flocked straight for the dancefloor, with Jermaine Dupri behind the DJ decks.
Anne Hathaway - who changed into jeans and a top for the party - was described as the life of the party, grinding with Calvin Klein creative director Francisco Costa while a circle formed around them, and later staging a dance off between herself, husband Adam Shulman, J. Crew president Jenna Lyons and her girlfriend Courtney Crangi.
Sir Paul McCartney nearly drowned in a lime pit as a boy.
The 71-year-old legend's brother, Mike McGear McCartney, revealed the pair of them are lucky to be alive after they "were clinging for their lives" in a ditch and is glad their screams were heard by neighbours who helped to save them.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "We were screaming and clinging on for our lives. Eventually, a neighbour heard us. He pulled us out."
Mike admits that their dad, James 'Jim' McCartney, was not pleased when he found out but since they were visibly shaken he let them off.
He added: "We got a good hiding from our dad. It wasn't as bad as it could have been because he could see the shock."
Meanwhile, talking on the 'Kevin & Bean' show, Paul has insisted he likes talking about his Beatles heyday since it's like looking at a "scrapbook" full of fond memories.
He explained: "It's like kind of talking about your college days when you're kind of not at college anymore and there's quite a few years gone by. With the Beatles, so much what we did was incredible. And I can talk like that because it's over. It's like looking at scrapbook.
"There's so many great moments, that I actually like being reminded of them."
Anna Passey wants to be crowned Best Villain at the British Soap Awards.
The 'Hollyoaks' beauty, who plays scheming Sienna Blake on the Channel 4 soap, is desperate to win her first ever gong at the London awards ceremony later this month.
She told the Daily Star newspaper: "I would absolutely love to win because I have never won an award. I was up for an NTA (National Television Awards), which was exciting but disappointing not to win.
"The fact I've got another go at it is great, especially in the villain category, because I absolutely love playing a villain."
The 28-year-old actress, who missed out on a Sexiest Female nomination, faces stiff competition from her own co-stars Greg Wood (Trevor Royle) and Jesse Birdsall (Fraser Black) in the Best Villain category and hopes Sienna' vulnerable side won't mean she isn't a top contender for the prize.
Anna - who joined the soap in 2012 - added: "I'm very excited. I was worried because Sienna's had her more vulnerable, softer side on screen.
"As she's such a complex character I wondered whether people would start to question whether she's actually a villain or not.
"I didn't expect to be shortlisted. But I'm not sure I have a chance against those two because they are mean men."
Fans can cast their votes ahead of the May 24 ceremony at britishsoapawards.tv.
Binky Felstead and Alex Mytton are "trying to work things through".
The 'Made In Chelsea' co-stars were seen recently ending their six-month relationship after Alex was accused of cheating on Binky, but his former girlfriend has admitted things may not be over for good.
She told OK! magazine: "We are trying to work things through, yes, but it's very difficult ... We're going to see what happens."
The 23-year-old brunette, who was left devastated after they split in the last episode and had to be comforted by her mother, admitted it has been tough watching her problems play out on screen.
She said: "It's been horrible, I've been watching the show away from the other cast members because it's not easy seeing yourself like that.
"Before now, I'd never seen myself cry. So these past few weeks have been a real eye-opener. It's not been nice.
"I wish it was fake and scripted because this series has been quite a journey."
Binky - whose real name is Alexandra - also admitted her experiences have made her think twice about embarking on another televised romance.
She said: "It's not something I'd recommend. This is my first real emotional blowout and a lot of people are saying it's the most powerful series yet. I think that's because the emotions are so raw and real.
"I guess I'm glad that I'm able to contribute to the show - although I do kind of wish this wasn't my drama."

Eminem is set to play London's Wembley Stadium this summer.
The 'Lose Yourself' rapper is returning to the UK for the first time since 2001 and has chosen to perform at the massive venue on July 11 after his original Hyde Park show wasn't given the royal seal of approval.
He announced the news on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show yesterday evening (06.05.14), saying: "I heard that I wasn't going to be approved to play in Hyde Park and it made me even more excited to play in London this summer.
"The easiest way to get me to do something is to tell me I can't do it. Thanks to the Royal Parks for making it all possible... for Wembley."
Eminem will be the first rapper ever to headline the venue and his next single 'Headlights' from his latest album, 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2', is going to be released to coincide with the show.
The star is also doing a mini US stadium tour with Rihanna this summer, 'The Monster', which will take them to LA, New Jersey and Detroit.
He explained that he prefers to perform big one-off gigs these days rather than spending months on the road.
Eminem added: "I'm not saying I'll never be ready for that again, but right now, this is what's working for me."
Tickets for the Wembley show go on sale this Friday May 9 at 9am.

Charlotte Crosby ate raw Walrus while she was travelling for her reality show.
The British star - who was catapulted to the spotlight on MTV show 'Geordie Shore' - has been whizzing around the world for 'The Charlotte Crosby Experience' and she insists walrus was one of the worst delicacies she ate.
Asked about what the worst foods she ate was, she told heat magazine: "Walrus - that was awful. It wasn't cooked. Like, imagine you got a joint of beef or gammon, and you just shoved it in the snow and froze it. Then you took it out, chopped a bit off and just started eating it. That's how they eat it."
Although she wasn't keen on certain cuisines she insists her strong accent was understood by most communities she interacted with.
Charlotte added: "People got my accents more than the crew'! It was the people from London. They couldn't understand. With me, they're were totally fine - totally understood us."
She recently admitted she learnt a lot about relationships during her new reality show where she was taught important life lessons about love.
Charlotte said: "I'm the type of person who, when I'm arguing with my boyfriend I think, that's it I'm finishing with him.
"But finishing with someone or getting a divorce is just not a question for the people I stayed with in India or Canada ... You look at all the great times you've had together and you don't just focus on the one bad time."
Miley Cyrus doesn't drink or smoke on tour.
The 'Wrecking Ball' singer resumed her 'Bangerz' world tour in London last night (06.05.14) after having several weeks off due to a serious allergic reaction to an antibiotic and claims she is back on top form for her fans, even shunning alcohol, cigarettes and drugs when she's performing.
According to multiple sources, she said during a press conference: "I'm probably the only one on this tour who doesn't drink or smoke before a show, as I take this really seriously. It's almost like being an athlete being up here, because if someone was f**ked up, they definitely couldn't do my show."
Miley feels "better than ever" following her hospital stay and threatened to explode like a shooting star when she took to the stage.
She enthused: "I'm feeling good, I'm alive - so that's f**king awesome. I'm the poster child for good health. I've been laying down for three weeks. I'm gonna go off - I'm like a star waiting to explode."
The 21-year-old singer, who urged members of the audience of the same sex to kiss each other during her controversial, twerk-heavy set at London's O2 Arena, revealed she was on a natural high of vitamins these days.
She said: "I'm on this crazy vitamin rush and crazy honey and lavender. I learned a lot about taking care of yourself [while I was in hospital]."
Miley also slammed hurtful rumours she had postponed a number of her US shows and the first two dates of the European leg of her tour because of a drug overdose.
She lamented: "There is nothing I would rather not do than lay in a bed for two weeks. It was the most miserable two weeks of my life."
