Duchess Catherine gives Cressida Bonas relationship advice?

Britain's Duchess Catherine reportedly told Cressida Bonas to take "time out" with Prince Harry.
The 31-year-old royal advised the blonde beauty to take a bit of time to herself, like she did in 2007 when her and Prince William - who she married in 2011 - took a break, since being in the public eye with reports of a royal engagement can become intense.
A source told Now magazine: "[Catherine] gave her the lowdown on the pressures of being a princess and advised her to take time out, like she did with Wills in 2007.
"Kate feels for Cressie. There's an awful lot of pressure when the whole nation is asking if asking if you're about to get engaged.
"She told Cressie how she benefited from taking time out when she was on a break from William. Kate said it might be best for them too."
Harry and Cressida were said to have parted ways at the end of last month and other reports claim she was "freaked out" with the attention the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had to deal with while they were on their tour of Australia and New Zealand in April.
A source told British magazine Look: "Cressida and Harry were happy - there was even talk of marriage. But watching William and Kate's tour of Australia and New Zealand freaked Cressie out.
"She will have seen how they were followed by the world's press every minute of the day, how people were clawing to get photos of George, and how Kate and Wills were under the microscope. I think it made her realise that isn't the life she wants."

Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s dog Lupo inspired children’s book

Britain's Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's dog Lupo has inspired a new range of children's books.
Author Abigail King, who penned 'The Adventures of Lupo the Royal Dog: The Secret of Windsor Castle', has her own pooch Lily, who she takes for walks in Kensington Gardens, and when she found out Prince William and Duchess Catherine have their own hound it got her thinking about the lifestyle of royal dogs.
She told website, Mail Online: "I'd seen in the papers that Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge now had their very own Lilly - a black cocker spaniel named Lupo - and I started to think about what life as a royal puppy, with palaces and parks at your disposal, might be like."
Abigail couldn't get the thought out of her mind and it helped her to create characters and tales for a book.
She added: "Over the next few months, the idea never strayed far from my mind. I began to see the scope for mystery and adventure - secret passageways and tunnels in royal palaces, portals to other times. A royal menagerie of characters began to form in my head."
The book will hit bookshelves in September and another three stories will follow shortly after.

Eminem makes Mother’s Day apology to Debbie Nelson

Eminem has apologised to his mother in his new music video.
The rapper appears to hug a woman resembling his mum, Debbie Nelson, and expresses his regret about their feud in the official clip for 'Headlights', which was released on Sunday (11.05.14) to coincide with Mother's Day in the US.
The reflective video, directed by filmmaker Spike Lee, also sees the 41-year-old star - real name Marshall Mathers - flick through a photo album featuring snaps from his childhood.
The lyrics even reflect on Eminem's earlier song, 'Cleanin' Out My Closet' in 2002, in which he accused his mother of making him ill due to her alleged drug habit and the song, featuring Nate Ruess, is taken from his album 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2', which was released last year.
He raps: "I went in headfirst, never thinking about who what I said hurt / In what verse, my mum probably got it the worst, the brunt of it / But as stubborn as we are, did I take it too far, Cleanin' Out My Closet /And all them other songs, but regardless I don't hate you / Cause ma, you're still beautiful to me, cause you're my mum."
The 'Rap God' hitmaker has had a troubled relationship with his mother over the years, often rapping about his troubled childhood in his autobiographical songs.
Debbie sued Eminem for $10 million in 1999 for slandering her by implying she was a habitual drug user, but she was only awarded $25,000 - some $23,000 of which went towards her lawyers' fees.

Brad Pitt to star in True Detective?

Brad Pitt is close to landing a part on 'True Detective'.
The 'World War Z' actor is reportedly negotiating a leading role in the second season of the crime series with TV bosses on US network HBO, taking over from Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Brad is already part of the HBO family and if commitments allow he will be part of the second season of 'True Detective'. The quality of the scripts means the biggest A-listers in the world want the role."
The first series of the show saw warring detectives Rust Cohle (Matthew) and Marty Hart (Woody) join forces to solve a crime, but the duo have confirmed they won't be back.
It is not yet known whether Brad would be working solo or will get an A-list partner.
Show creator Nic Pizzolatto recently told Rolling Stone magazine he's already started writing the next season, which would feature a brand new cast and mystery.
He said: "I've got three characters I love right now, and they're all unique, and neither of them is Cohle or Hart."

Russian politician slams Eurovision winner

Russia's Vladimir Zhirinovsky insists Conchita Wurst's Eurovision Song Contest win symbolises the "end of Europe".
The bearded drag queen - whose real name is Thomas Neuwirth - won the 2014 competition on Saturday night (10.05.14), but has now been slammed by the leader of Russia's Liberal Democratic Party.
According to The Sun newspaper, Zhirinovsky said: "There is no limit to our outrage. It is the end of Europe. They don't have men and women anymore - they have 'it'."
Conchita - who won the competition for Austria with her song 'Rise Like a Phoenix' - accepted her award by thanking supporters of equality and freedom.
She said: "This night is dedicated to everyone who believes in a future of peace and freedom. We are unity and we are unstoppable.
"I share the opinion that this was not a victory just for me but for the people who believe in a future that works without discrimination and is based on tolerance and respect. This transcends borders."
Russian president Vladimir Putin has recently come under fire for introducing "anti-gay" laws which restrict the spreading of information described as promoting "non-traditional sexual relations", and his country's entry into the competition were greeted with boos at the live final.
Meanwhile, during a live TV debate Filipp Kirkorov, the producer of the Russian entry's song, claimed that Austria's winning contestant should serve to change the attitudes of Russian politicians.
He told Rossiya-1 television: "Maybe this is a kind of protest against some of our views in Russia. Maybe we should have a think. Maybe we shouldn't have such a categorical attitude to people of different sexual orientations."

Pauline McLynn joined EastEnders for June Brown

Pauline McLynn joined 'EastEnders' to work with June Brown.
The Irish actress makes her on-screen debut in tonight's (12.05.14) episode as Yvonne Cotton - the mother of Dot Branning's mysterious grandson Charlie Cotton (Declan Bennett) - and she admits she was initially reluctant to join the BBC One soap until she learned she would work with the Walford legend.
Quizzed about working with June, Pauline said: "That's why I'm there, I'll be honest with you. Sometimes you get a bit conflicted, thinking, do I want to be in something that's so iconic? And will I ever want to watch it again? Because that's my favourite soap.
"They said, 'Well, it would be a Dot Cotton storyline.' By the time they finished saying the word 'Dot', I said, 'I'll be there.'
"She's a goddess, really. She's done it all. I spent a day working with her in her [character's] living room and her kitchen, and just to see her working - the woman is 88-years-old and she's a dynamo!"
While Pauline is best known for her comedy roles - including the beloved Mrs Doyle in 'Father Ted' - she's excited to play a more serious character.
Appearing on ITV's 'Lorraine' this morning, she said: "She's a very dour woman. If she smiles at you, you're really in trouble then! I see a lot of people on social media going, 'There must be a bit of comedy coming to EastEnders' ... not with me there ain't!
"It's fabulous for me, because she's this stone-faced woman."

Hermione Norris to star in Doctor Who

Hermione Norris is due to guest star on 'Doctor Who'.
The 'Cold Feet' actress has signed up to star opposite new Time Lord Peter Capaldi when the BBC One sci-fi show returns this autumn.
She said: "It's exciting to be part of such an iconic show, and one that my kids can watch!!!"
The unnamed episode will see the cast, which also includes Jenna-Louise Coleman as the Doctor's companion, jet off to the Spanish island of Lanzarote on a new adventure, penned by Peter Harness.
Steven Moffat, lead writer and executive producer, commented: "It's a testament to the quality of Peter Harness's intense and emotional script, that we've been able to attract an actress of the brilliance of Hermione Norris.
"And for the first time since 1984, the 'Doctor Who' production team is heading to Lanzarote. The Doctor is returning to the scene of an old adventure - but there have been sinister changes since his last visit."
The episode will also star Ellis George, Tony Osoba and Phil Nice.
Other guest stars confirmed for the new series this autumn include Ben Miller, Tom Riley and Keeley Hawes.
Matt Smith left the programme last year after four years playing the titular Time Lord.
New incarnation Peter took over the role in the 2013 Christmas special, 'The Time of the Doctor'.

David Tennant, Olivia Colman return to Broadchurch

David Tennant and Olivia Colman are confirmed to return to 'Broadchurch'.
ITV has announced that a host of stars from the first series of the murder mystery drama will be back for the second series, including David, Olivia, Arthur Darvill, Jodie Whittaker and Andrew Buchan.
David and Olivia will reprise their roles as police detectives Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller, who solved the murder of schoolboy Danny Latimer in the first series.
Olivia's character had her world torn apart when her husband Joe confessed to the killing.
Jodie and Andrew will return as Danny's grieving parents Beth and Mark Latimer, while former 'Doctor Who' star Arthur is back as local vicar Paul Coates.
The new series of 'Broadchurch' will begin filming in Dorset shortly, but as with the first series, writer Chris Chibnall has shrouded all plot details in utter secrecy.
ITV's director of drama Steve November said in a statement: "We're delighted 'Broadchurch' is back in production, but we're remaining tight-lipped about how the story develops. Suffice to say Chris has delivered as always and the scripts are just as exciting as the first series."
Director Jane Strong - who helmed five episodes of the first series - will be back to direct the first two episodes of series two.
She said: "The reaction to 'Broadchurch' from UK viewers has been incredible. So we'd like viewers to enjoy the new series knowing as little as possible about what's to come and for the story to unfold in real time."
Meanwhile, David is also set to star in a US remake of the series, titled 'Gracepoint'. The show will star 'Breaking Bad' actress Anna Gunn in Olivia's role as Ellie Miller.

George Clooney throws engagement party

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin enjoyed an engagement party at the weekend.
The 'Monuments Men' actor - who proposed to the human rights lawyer at home last month - and his new fiancee were joined by a number of celebrity friends at Malibu's Cafe Habana last night (11.05.14) to toast their impending nuptials.
Among those in attendance at the low-key bash, which kicked off around 7pm, were U2 frontman Bono, Rande Gerber and his wife Cindy Crawford.
And despite the famous gathering, the group were happy for the eatery to still be open to patrons wanting a Mother's Day meal, and one onlooker said the restaurant - which is owned by Rande - was very busy.
The source told E! News: "People got a show they didn't expect and other [restaurant patrons] said it was the best Mother's Day ever."
The happy couple were described as looking "refreshed and relaxed" and favoured casual attire for the bash, with George
teaming a blue shirt with jeans and his bride-to-be wearing a green t-shirt and floral shorts.
The evening wasn't the first time the couple have celebrated their engagement, as it was previously reported that the night after George proposed, the pair celebrated their happy news with friends at Craig's restaurant in Los Angeles, and onlookers say they were "just beaming".
And the following night Amal happily showed off her ring to pals including Cindy and Rande at Nobu in Malibu.

He said: "I wear Mickey Mouse slippers around the house."
Pharrell is fascinated by outer space, and though his clothes have made it into orbit, he has no desire to leave earth himself.
In an interview with Us Weekly magazine, he said: "[Astronaut] Leland Melvin took one of my Billionaire Boys Club T-shirts to space.
"I love [late astronomer] Carl Sagan and respect outer space so much, but in reality I wouldn't ever go there!"
However, one place he is keen to spend more time in is Japan.
He admitted: "I love Japanese food, especially the truffle yellowtail at Pubbelly Sushi in Miami Beach.

She said: "I love the slow pace, the normalcy that it gives me."
The 'Automatic' singer was previously known for being outspoken, but is happy she has now "calmed down" and is able to show new sides to her personality.
Speaking to the new issue of Billboard magazine, she said: "With success, I've been able to sort of calm that down and go, 'OK, I don't have to be guns a-blazin' all the time. People are listening, so I can open up my softer side and show people who the whole Miranda is.'
"I have this other side. I love pink and puppies, too."
However, Miranda insists she isn't afraid to still speak her mind.
She added: "That is who I am. I'm just a Texas girl that speaks her mind, and sometimes that gets me in trouble."
Miranda and Blake - who married in 2011 - have been subjected to many rumours about their romance, but they just laugh off the constant speculation.
She joked: "I think I've had like five sets of twins in the last two years, and we've been divorced four times, and one of us had a $100 million divorce."
