Prince Harry to hold talks with Cressida

Britain's Prince Harry is to hold talks with his ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas.
The young couple shockingly split last month and the 29-year-old royal is eager to meet with his former partner - who he had been expected to marry - in coming weeks to discuss their relationship.
A source said: "They are planning to meet within the week to have it all out. Cressida's father has told them they can use his Norfolk farmhouse, so they have complete privacy."
It's alleged the end of the relationship was sparked by Harry's desire for Cressida, 25, to behave more like a royal if they were to become engaged to be married.
The blonde beauty was reportedly reluctant to try and copy Harry's sister-in-law, the elegant Duchess Catherine.
The insider explained to Britain's Grazia magazine: "In the past few months Cressida's got the distinct impression she was being told to 'smarten up'. She is not going to change into the next Kate, she loves her boho style and won't change for anyone. She's told Harry that. It's telling that she's been out recently in her trademark Dr Marten [shoes].
"She is an independent girl and won't stand for being defined by her relationship. She comes from an aristocratic family and is not impressed by his royal status. She just wants to be with Harry."

The Neighbourhood: Weed helps us write

Rock band The Neighbourhood smoke "a lot" of weed and claim it helps them creatively.
The American act - made up of Jesse Rutherford, Jeremy Freedman, Zach Abels, Mikey Margott and Bryan Sammis - admit using the drug helps them to write good music and don't blame Miley Cyrus for smoking it so much.
Frontman Jesse told BANG Showbiz: "We didn't really f**k around with any of that stuff until about a year ago and started every day getting into it.
"It does help us creatively. When we haven't smoked for a while, we'll smoke and I think all of our ideas are the best ideas ever. My mind is always going, like a gazillion miles a f***ing minute, I need to calm down and concentrate.
"It makes me focus a lot and less paranoid. It's really interesting with me, it balances me. I hate the fact that a drug does that to me, but, it's f***ing weed, I don't blame Miley for telling everybody about it. I think it's the best thing in the world. I like getting high. I don't drink at all."
The band saw Miley perform in Oklahoma and couldn't believe how good to the 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker was live.
Zach said: "The show was so cool, I couldn't even believe it, I was like, 'It's really good'."
Meanwhile, The Neighbourhood are pleased they've been able to build on their fan base in the UK as well as America, after their single 'Sweater Weather' went double platinum in the US and their album 'I Love You' was a success over the pond, and they're now looking ahead.
Jesse said: "Those songs are old to us now, we want to move out. We're constantly writing stuff, we're about to release a free mixtape and it's almost ready to get put out. We're thinking a year ahead."

Ricky Wilson escapes surgery on injured eye

Ricky Wilson doesn't need surgery on his injured eye.
The Kaiser Chiefs frontman arrived at The 2014 Radio Academy Awards in London on Monday night (12.05.14) wearing an eye patch over his left eye.
Ricky suffered the "minor accident" filming the fairground-themed video for his band's next single 'Meanwhile Up in Heaven' while riding a dodgem, however, it should heal on its own over the next few weeks.
When asked if he would require an operation to fix his sight, Ricky said: "I don't need surgery and I've still got one good eye, and two good ears."
The 36-year-old singer also revealed he is excited about playing live with the band this summer and on tour next year, and is looking forward to playing to the new fans he has attracted from his judging role on 'The Voice' UK.
He said: "We're doing loads of festivals this year as many as we can. Our own tour starts next February. I'm so excited about the tour, it's what it's all been about, we spent the last year-and-a-half recording our album and we're so proud of it and we didn't know whether our fans were going to come out and support us but they came out in force and they came out fighting for us. We didn't want to pre-empt it by booking a big tour before it was out, just because I was on 'The Voice' but it came out and was received very well and the word of mouth is just making it grow and grow ... Our fans were pretty diverse in the first place and I think we're back there again, of course 'The Voice' has helped but we kind of had a inkling it might."
The Kaiser Chiefs performed three songs at the awards ceremony at The Grosvenor House Hotel and guests included Myleene Klass, Kian Egan, Alfie Boe - who also played live - and Pixie Lott.

Jennifer Lopez on the hardest video of her life

Jennifer Lopez found it difficult filming the video for her track 'First Love'.
The 44-year-old singer, who shot the promo for her song in the desert in California, wasn't a fan of the drop in temperature and claims it was one of the most difficult experiences of her career.
Speaking to New York radio station Z100, she said: "We just shot the video for 'First Love' in the desert in California. It was the hardest video shoot of my life - it was freezing!"
Jennifer releases her new album 'A.K.A' on June 17, which features collaborations from Iggy Azalea, Rick Ross, Sia, T.I., and insists she still puts in 100 per cent for her fans when it comes to new music and live shows.
She explained: "As a performer you have to know how to turn it around and bring it back in big way with the audience on your side.
"I had my eye on Iggy Azalea for about a year. I've never collaborated with a female rapper before and I've always wanted to."
Meanwhile, the 'I Luh Ya Papi' singer, who will be honoured with ICON Award 2014 at the Billboard Music Awards on May 18, also spoke about her shock in being told she will receive the accolade.
She said: "It's kind of overwhelming and surreal to me to get the ICON award. I'm very humbled and super excited for it."

Jamelia: Loose Women changed for better

Jamelia thinks 'Loose Women' has "changed for the better".
The ITV daytime show has seen a major shake-up over the last year, including a glamorous new set and the introduction of younger panellists, in a bid to boost ratings and the singer believes the programme has benefited from the transformation.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I definitely think it has changed and it's changed for the better. I feel the changes [executive producer] Martin Frizell has put in place - he's making it more brave, a bit more interesting, something that everybody will want it to watch rather than just appealing to the over 40 women. I think everybody used to watch it, but people are watching it now and not just because it's on."
The 33-year-old star says the current panel, which features stars young and old, are "strong" women who aren't afraid to stand by their opinion on the topical programme.
Referring to recent clashes between Janet Street-Porter, 67, and Myleene Klass, 36, she said: "I think that's what makes it interesting. Janet represents one demographic and Myleene represents a set of people who think like her.
"I think it's important the panellists are strong women who aren't easily swayed by another person's opinion.
"I do think you need to be respectful of what someone else is saying and listen when they're voicing their opinion. But I also believe we have to be strong, opinionated and not feel intimidated by another woman on the panel."
Jamelia is an ambassador for Tilda Basmati's Mum Helping Mums campaign in association with the World Food Programme. For further information visit www.tilda.com/mums.

Billie Piper: Penny Dreadful scarier than Daleks

Billie Piper says 'Penny Dreadful' is scarier than the Daleks in 'Doctor Who'.
The 31-year-old actress, who plays prostitute Brona Croft in the dark new Victoria-era thriller, says the themes explored in the series - produced by 'Skyfall' director Sam Mendes - are far scarier than the metallic robots seen in her former show.
Speaking at the launch of 'Penny Dreadful' in London yesterday (12.05.14), she said: "Not that I was scared of the Daleks myself ... But yes, as much as it has all the supernatural elements, lots of it is about mortality. It is about people existing on the outskirts of society becoming one and living with the demons and darkness. And I think all of that is pretty scary - far scarier than the Daleks!"
Billie - who played Rose Tyler in 'Doctor Who' - is joined in the violent new thriller by US actor Josh Hartnett, Eva Green, Timothy Dalton and Harry Treadaway.
'Penny Dreadful' marks 'Pearl Harbor' heartthrob Josh's return to the small screen after turning his back on big budget Hollywood movies, and he admits it was a challenge not knowing his character's entire storyline for the series.
He explained: "I'm used to getting a full script for the concept of the character from inception to completion, and in the show I was only given the first two episodes so the back-story doesn't exist."
'Penny Dreadful' starts on May 20 at 9pm on Sky Atlantic.

Corrie’s Maria Connor to flee cobbles

Coronation Street's Maria Connor will leave the cobbles after being exposed as Tyrone Dobbs' mystery text culprit.
The Weatherfield hairdresser - played by Samia Ghadie - will flee the country when Tyrone (Alan Halsall) and Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine) discover she is the person behind the malicious messages addressed from Tyrone's abusive ex Kirsty Soames.
Samia said: "She's really worried. She's completely lost the plot, and that's why she decides to go away for a while. She just needs to get away from Weatherfield and Marcus and get back to being Maria.
"I think a break will do her the world of good. She needs to get away and let the dust settle with Tyrone and Fiz, and then try and start again."
The actress blames her character's actions on discovering her boyfriend Marcus Dent (Charlie Condou) in bed with another man, Todd Grimshaw (Bruno Langley), earlier this year.
Samia explained: "Maria's terrified when [Tyrone and Fiz] report her to the police, but she's also terrified by what she's done. She's basically had a nervous breakdown, she's not herself, and I think it's a result of what's happened over the past few years. She's been heartbroken so many times and she's been through so much stuff that finding Marcus on the floor with Todd just tipped her over the edge."

X-Men: Days of Future past was logistical nightmare

Simon Kinberg claims 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' almost didn't happen.
The producer-and-screenwriter has revealed he initially thought plans for the mutant superhero movie might have to be scrapped because it's A-list cast - which includes Sir Ian McKellan, James McAvoy, Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence - were so busy and proved tricky to get together at the same time.
Speaking at the long-awaited film's UK premiere in London's Leicester Square last night (12.05.14), Kinberg told BANG Showbiz: "I never thought it would happen because I thought it would be too complicated in terms of cast ... Figuring out the schedules, getting all those people in the same place at the same time was almost as hard as writing it."
The latest instalment in the superhero saga sees Jackman's clawed alter ego travel back in time to prevent the mutant race from becoming extinct, and Kinberg believes focusing the plot so heavily on Wolverine was an obvious choice.
Kinberg reasoned: "Some reasons [for choosing Wolverine] are obvious, he's in some ways the fan favourite of the group in the franchise, the other obvious thing is his age - the character was developed in 1973.
"But for me the part that was the most compelling was the idea that the character who had been saved and mentored by the older Charles Xavier was going back in time was going back in time to save and mentor the younger Charles Xavier, essentially taking the lessons he learnt from the older character and teaching them to his younger self."
Kinberg braved heavy rain to walk the special blue carpet at the event and was joined by several stars of the film such as Fassbender, McKellen and McAvoy who was accompanied by his actress wife Anne-Marie Duff.

Alien designer H. R. Giger dies

'Alien' designer H. R. Giger has died.
The Swiss surrealist artist passed away on Monday (12.05.14) at the age of 74 in hospital after falling down the stairs at his Zurich home, a spokesperson at the H.R. Giger Museum in Gruyères, Switzerland, has revealed.
Although already an acclaimed artist, Giger found fame when he designed the 'Xenomorph' extra-terrestrial for Sir Ridley Scott's acclaimed 1979 sci-fi movie.
The creature was based on his painting 'Necronom IV' and his work on the alien and other sets such as 'The Space Jockey' and 'The Derelict' earned him and the rest of special effects team the 1980 Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.
Giger's work was featured in the three subsequent 'Alien' films with him creating new designs for 'Alien 3'. Scott also got him to create original extraterrestrial murals for his prequel movie 'Prometheus', which was released in 2012.
In 2013, he was inducted into the Science Fiction Hall of Fame in Seattle for his work on the iconic franchise.
Away from the big screen, the artist was famous for creating surrealist sculptures and paintings which usually depicted strange dreamscapes featuring humans and machines fused together or engaged in sexual activity, a style Giger referred to as "biomechanical".
Giger's work was also used for a number of album covers including Blondie singer Debbie Harry's solo album 'Koo Koo'.
A poster he created for the inside of the album sleeve of The Dead Kennedys' LP 'Frankenchrist' - which showed rows of human genitalia engaged in sex - led to the group's frontman Eric Reed Boucher being tried in 1986 for distributing harmful material to children in 1986, however, the case was dismissed.
Giger is survived by his wife Carmen Maria Scheifele Giger, who runs his museum.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin spend day together

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin spent Mother's Day (11.05.14) together.
The former couple - who announced in March they were separating after 10 years of marriage - celebrated the US holiday with children Apple, nine, and Moses, eight, at their Malibu mansion and were seen looking relaxed and happy as they enjoyed a family trip to the beach.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "Gwyneth and Chris had a fun day out on the beach with their kids. They seemed very relaxed in one another's company.
"Anyone watching them would have thought they were just a normal loving family."
Despite their separation, the former couple - who took their children on holiday to the Bahamas when news broke of their split - have been seen together several times in recent weeks, including at the actress' 'Iron Man' co-star Robert Downey Jr.'s birthday party last month.
And it was recently revealed the pair will continue living together in the Malibu property as it includes "two totally separate" living spaces.
It had previously been speculated that 'Fix You' singer Chris planned to live alone in the $14 million home as it was bought by a special trust.
A property insider explained: "For this property a new trust was created, called Magical Kingdom Land (trust), which signalled something definitely changed between the pair.
"Everything else they have owned together, including homes in London and New York, was bought under Orchard House LLC. It appears that the trust used was different to the firm that Gwyneth is known to be associated with."

Michelle Williams splits from boyfriend

Michelle Williams has reportedly split from her boyfriend.
The 'My Week With Marilyn' actress and Dustin Yellin are said to have separated after a year of dating, Us Weekly reports.
The 33-year-old beauty - who has eight-year-old daughter Matilda with her late ex-fiance Heath Ledger - was first romantically linked with the artist when they were spotted holding hands in May 2013 after the Met Gala.
The pair were not spotted together very often and Michelle didn't speak publicly about her romance with the 38-year-old artist.
Though it is unclear when they split, Dustin didn't appear to be with the actress when she and her 'Cabaret' cast and crewmates celebrated the Broadway production's opening night last month, and he also wasn't by her side at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for this year's Met Gala earlier this month.
New York-based Michelle previously dated actor Jason Segel, who lives in Los Angeles, for almost a year until February 2013, with their romance reportedly coming to an end because of the distance between them.
The former 'Dawson's Creek' star previously insisted that her daughter is always her main priority.
She said: "Raising the kid is the work, yeah. And it's amazing, and it's the ultimate creative act. That's my side project and my centre project."

Kylie Jenner tattoos Lionel Richie’s son

Kylie Jenner has reportedly tattooed Lionel Richie's son.
The reality starlet made her body art debut on Friday evening (09.05.14) in a Hollywood recording studio when she inked her initials on 19-year-old Miles Richie's hand.
The 16-year-old brunette was in the studio with her sister Khloe Kardashian and her boyfriend French Montana watching Miles get inked by artist John Petro when she decided to give it a go herself.
In a video obtained by TMZ, a glove-clad Kylie can be seen copying John's hand movements as she tries to pick up the skill.
The gossip site is reporting the LA County Dept. of Public Health has confirmed only those aged 18 and over can administer tattoos, so Kylie could be hit with a fine of up to $1,000.
And John - who has tattooed the likes of Soulja Boy and Lil Wayne in the past - could have his license suspended.
Meanwhile, Kylie has reconciled with her pal Selena Gomez after the pop princess reportedly "flipped out" upon discovering text messages from the reality star on her on/off boyfriend Justin Bieber's phone last month.
The drama kicked off when Selena spotted Kylie chatting to Justin at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in California and reportedly worried they had been flirting.
