Sandra Bullock tells kids not to pick their noses

Sandra Bullock hates seeing people pick their noses.
The 'Speed 2' star made a surprise appearance at the Warren Easton Charter High School Class of 2014 - which she adopted in after it was damaged in the wake of hurricane Katrina in 2005 - in New Orleans this morning (19.05.14).
While there she talked to students about her own graduation and also gave her best tips for making it to the top.
According to People.com, she told the assembled students: "Stop worrying so much. I don't remember any of the moments in my life where I worried. Nothing is a failure it's just not supposed to work out.
"Eat something green every day. Do not pick your nose in public. How about we just go get a tissue?
"When someone who cares about you hugs you, hug them back...
"And last but not least go find your joy. It's what you're going to remember in the end. It's not the worry, it's not the what-ifs. It's the joy that stays with you."
The 49-year-old star also remembered how nervous she was when she was in the same position as the graduates.
She said: "I was trying to remember my graduation and, oddly, I couldn't remember anything. I remembered how good I looked and then I went back and looked at pictures and I really didn't look so good.
"I didn't remember anything, because I was so worried about the future."
The actress' words were greeted with rapturous applause by the assembled 200 children and staff.

Jessica Simpson’s wedding will ‘definitely be extravagant’

Jessica Simpson's wedding will "definitely be extravagant".
The reality TV star has been engaged to former NFL player Eric Johnson since 2010 and they are planning to pull out all the stops as they finally plan their big day.
Jessica told NBC's Today show: "It'll definitely be extravagant. I don't do things small."
The star - who has two children with Eric; Maxwell, two, and Ace, 11 months - runs a hugely successful fashion empire, but always makes sure each day includes family time.
She added: "We get up with the kids. We do breakfast. I'm always with my loving fiancé who I adore more than anything, well, of course, my kids. They're all equal."
Jessica added she believes her fashion line has been so successful because her body weight has fluctuated so much over the time she has had her children.
The Weight Watchers spokeswoman added: "I think I can relate to every woman out there. I have been every size there is, so I know how to dress every body type.
"[And] I truly believe it's not just about high fashion.
"We all need pieces in our wardrobe that are fashionable but accessible, wearable and affordable. I think that that's really what has made the brand such a success."
Jessica and Eric are rumoured to be getting married over the July 4th weekend in Santa Barbara, California.
The marriage will be the 'Dukes of Hazzard' star's second, after she was previously wed to Nick Lachey from 2002 to 2006.

Candice Swanepoel: ballet helps me model

Candice Swanepoel says studying ballet helped her become a model.
The star told how the demanding dance discipline helped to strengthen her posture and joints so she had perfect poise for the catwalk.
She told Marie Claire magazine: "I studied ballet when I was growing up. It has helped a lot with modelling because I think about all parts of my body, from my fingers to my toes."
If she hadn't been spotted to become a model aged 15 she would have continued with her ballet studies, or "maybe I would have become a veterinarian."
The South African beauty also said her job with as a Victoria's Secret Angel involves much more than simply modelling underwear.
She added: "It comes with a different kind of responsibility. It's not just about posing for shoots. People know your name and your personality."
Candice, 25, also revealed an unusual hidden talent.
She added: "I am very good at pretending I am not nervous!"
The model - who is dating Hermann Nicoli - has also recently said she loves to have dance music playing when she is on photoshoots as it helps her keep her energy levels up.
Speaking of a recent shoot for the brand Bottletop in Brazil, she said: "We had a DJ playing electronic dance music all afternoon to keep our energy and spirits high and I think you can tell we had a great time by the quality of the images."

Charlize Theron ‘didn’t see’ relationship with Sean Penn coming

Charlize Theron didn't see her relationship with Sean Penn coming.
The South African actress was surprised how her longstanding friendship with the actor and director blossomed into something more last year.
She told Vogue magazine: "What I guess I am trying to say is: A friend kind of stepped into that role [of boyfriend], and I really didn't see it coming.
"Sean and I have known each other for eighteen years. We were just really good friends. And it's been slow going because you are aware that you could screw that up and lose it.
"It just kind of naturally happened, and before I knew it, I was in something that was making my life better."
However, the 38-year-old star - who was previously in a relationship with the actor Stuart Townsend for nine years until 2010 - warns she's not interested in getting married anytime soon.
She added: "I really do understand the importance and what that ceremony represents to so many people, but it's just such a personal thing.
"Let's put it this way - I never had the dream of the white dress. And watching other people getting married? I think it's beautiful for them, but ... it's supposed to be this night of celebrating love, and all you see is a couple separated all night making sure everybody else is OK. And as you get older, you start sifting through the stuff that really matters."

Kanye West has installed a pool filled with pink water at his wedding venue.
The rapper and fiancee Kim Kardashian are set to tie the knot this weekend, and though their big day has been shrouded in secrecy, guests - which include the reality TV star's family and Kanye's best friend Jay Z and his wife Beyonce - have been directed to the Chateau Louis XIV in Paris, France, though it is still unclear where they will undertake a legally-binding ceremony as the couple have not spent long enough in the city to be allowed to wed there.

Hulk Hogan surprises neighbours by walking tiny Chihuahuas

Hulk Hogan says people "freak out" when they see him walking his pet Chihuahuas, Pebbles and Pumpkin Spice.
The 60-year-old WWE Superstar has revealed his neighbours in North Clearwater Beach, Florida, are always surprised when they catch him out with the tiny pooches as they expect him to have more manly dogs because he's a muscle-bound wrestling legend.
During an appearance on British TV show 'Loose Women', he said: "My wife Jennifer is an amazing cook and she's into all the organic stuff and the juicing and the healthy stuff but I'm the guy who walks the Chihuahuas. Everybody expects me to walk these big dogs around but I always walk the girl dogs, Pebbles and Pumpkin Spice. Everybody freaks out when they see me with these little dogs."
Hogan's five-decade spanning career in the ring and on the big screen has made him one of the most recognisable people in the world but he insists when he's at home with Jennifer he's just Terry Bollea.
He said: "Wherever I go - my real name is Terry - and so when I go outside people don't go 'Hey! Terry, how you doing?' They go, 'Hey Hulk! What's up brother?' I have to be Hulk Hogan the moment I walk out the door but when I come home I take the bandanna off the bald head and I don't wear red and yellow, and I put my board shorts on because I'm a beach bum. At home I get to be Terry."
Hogan is currently in the UK as part of the 'WWE Live WrestleMania Revenge' tour and will act as the host of 'SmackDown' when the TV show is taped at The O2 arena in London on Tuesday night (20.05.14).

Marilyn Manson mourns mother

Marilyn Manson has vowed to make his late mother "proud".
The 'Beautiful People' hitmaker has been left devastated after his beloved parent Barbara Warner lost her battle with dementia last Tuesday (13.05.14) aged 68 and paid tribute to her on his Facebook page.
He wrote: "To my Mother, the first and greatest believer in me...I hope I see you again someday. But not now, because I have more things I promised I would do.
"I'll make you proud and satisfied that you know you made the son you wanted.
"I love you."
The funeral service was private, and Barbara's family requested for donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
Manson - who was previously married to Dita Von Teese and engaged to Evan Rachel Wood - is currently dating fashion model and photographer Lindsay Usich, and previously admitted he is keen to start a family with her so that their little one can ''breathe profanity''.
He explained: ''My girlfriend Lindsay's twin just had a baby and I've started to think that maybe I wouldn't mind passing my demented genius on to some small thing who can set fire and breathe profanity.''

Jennifer Lopez nervous about first book

Jennifer Lopez is nervous about baring her soul in her new book.
The singer's first ever autobiography about her life and loves, 'True Love', is out in October and she is worried about making her most intimate thoughts public.
She admitted to People magazine: "What's funny is, I didn't start off the project wanting to bare my soul in print. It started off as a diary of the year I went on tour ... and when I was on the road, it became something else. I really surprised myself, and I realised, 'Oh my God, I'm writing this book.'
"Even to this day, I think, 'Do I put this book out there?' I did a lot of soul searching and praying, because I don't ever want it to be mistaken for anything other than it was, which is sharing something I learned with people I could help."
The 'On The Floor' hitmaker, who became the first ever female recipient of the Icon Award at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (18.05.14), believes her fans might be surprised by some of the confessions in the book, especially regarding the breakdown of her eight-year marriage to Marc Anthony - the father of her six-year-old twins Max and Emme - in 2012.
She explained: "I changed a lot as a person. It was a very transformative moment in my life. I had gone through a lot of changes and then confronting fears of having never toured and being a mom on my own. It was a real shellshock time for me."
