Kelly Clarkson says her newborn daughter is the "greatest thing on the planet."
The 32-year-old singer, who welcomed her first child, River Rose, into the world with her music manager husband, Brandon Blackstock, last week, introduced the tot to her fans for the first time on Twitter today (20.06.14).
Along with an adorable picture of little River, dressed in white and napping in a red pram, she wrote: "Here is our beautiful baby girl River Rose; 6lbs 6oz, 18 inches, and the greatest thing on the planet."
Kelly also announced her daughter's arrival on the social media site last week and said she was on cloud nine.
She tweeted: "Our baby girl River Rose Blackstock arrived on June 12th! Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes! Brandon and I are on cloud 9!! (sic)."
The 'Stronger' hitmaker married Brandon, who has two children from his first marriage, Seth, seven, and Savannah, 11, in a low-key ceremony in Tennessee last October and previously admitted she couldn't wait to become a mother.
Shortly after announcing her pregnancy last year, she also predicted she would have a baby girl before finding out the gender.
She said at the time: "I'm totally gonna have a girl. I'm manifesting it. And when I have a girl, you're gonna be like, 'That chick knew it!' "

Kesha thinks her boyfriend is a "really sweet human being."
The 'Timber' hitmaker, who sought treatment in rehab for an eating disorder earlier this year, admits she feels very lucky to have New Jersey writer Brad Ashenfelter in her life and is "really happy."
The 27-year-old star said: "He's really, a really sweet human being. I'm very happy to have him in my life ... That's way too much information for America to know. But, I'm really happy with my beard."
The couple, who were introduced by her hairstylist, were first photographed together in April, but a source close to the singer revealed they have "actually been together a long time" and Brad "did visit her during treatment, he's been alongside her through it all."
Asked what first attracted her to her hairy beau, the blonde beauty also told 'On Air with Ryan Seacrest' today (20.06.14): "I do [like dirty boys], not like physically covered in dirt, but I just like them to be beardy [with] long hair and look like a little homeless.
"I like guys who look like they don't groom themselves. I'm not into guys who are very high-maintenance. I don't want them to take longer to get ready than me."

Christina Milian has dumped her fiancé Jas Prince.
The 'Dip It Low' hitmaker, who has a four-year-old daughter, Violet, with ex-husband The-Dream, called off her engagement to the CEO of Rap-A-Lot-Records earlier this month and has moved out of their shared house in Los Angeles.
A spokesperson for the former 'Dancing with the Stars' contestant's family confirmed she is single again to UsMagazine.com.
The 32-year-old singer was spotted moving her stuff out of their house on Thursday (19.06.14) and also hinted she was ready to move on when she shared a photograph of a quote on Instagram last week, that read: "There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. Surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living."
The duo started dating in 2010, just months after her split from The-Dream, and Christina first stepped out with a huge diamond engagement ring in April 2013.
She initially played coy about whether they were preparing to get married, but gushed about their romance in September.
She said: "I'm definitely in love with someone. I'm in a very happy relationship, a very stable relationship, which is great, and he's very supportive. We're definitely looking into the future."

Tracy Morgan has been transferred to a rehab facility.
The 45-year-old comedian - who sustained a number of injuries, including a broken femur, broken nose and broken ribs, when a Walmart truck crashed into the limo bus he was travelling in on the New Jersey Turnpike on June 7 - was released from hospital earlier this week, but still "has a long way to go" before he fully recovers from the accident, which also killed his friend, James McNair.
A spokesperson for the former '30 Rock' actor released a statement today (20.06.14), saying: "Tracy has been transferred to an undisclosed rehab center, where he is expected to remain for the next few weeks. While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go.
"He and [fiancée] Megan [Wollover] wanted to publicly express their deepest gratitude to everyone at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for the unbelievable care and attention they provided him."
Kevin Roper, the truck driver involved in the crash, has been charged with one count of death by auto and four counts of assault by auto in connection with the crash, but pleaded not guilty during a recent appearance at Middlesex County Superior Court in New Jersey.
Following the hearing, Mr. Roper, 35, was released on $50,000 bail.

Jennifer Lopez would love to be friends with Mariah Carey.
The 'American Idol' judge claims she has never met the former '#Beautiful' hitmaker, despite having several mutual friends, and insists they aren't feuding.
The 44-year-old beauty said: "I don't have a feud against her at all. I know from back in the day, I've read things that she's said about me that were not the greatest, but we have never met. Like, we don't know each other. I think it's kind of from word of mouth of things that have happened in the past that I'm not really aware of. But I don't know."
She added: "I would love to meet her and I would love to be friends with her. I think she's incredibly talented and I've always been a fan of hers. 'My All' is one of my favourite songs of all time. I just love her. It saddens me to hear anything that's negative because I'm a fan of hers."
The 'Booty' hitmaker - who recently admitted she still loves her third ex-husband, Marc Anthony, and thinks he's sexy - is also on good terms with her most of her former lovers, including ex-fiancée Ben Affleck.
Asked if she dressed the 'Argo' star before their split in early 2004, she told 'Watch What Happens Live': "I did kind of like say, 'You need to be, you know, you're a movie star! You should wear a suit, you know? You should do this with your hair."
She added: "He didn't do anything he didn't want to do . . . He had some good fashion moments when he was with me."
But Jennifer, who has six-year-old twins, Emme and Max, with Marc, thinks dancers and singers are better in bed than actors.
She said: "I have to say that in my limited experience, I would have to say anybody involved in music. So I would say singers and dancers.
"The best and worst part? I mean, there's no bad part to it, really. It's not about the fact that they're a dancer or not a dancer. I've dated two dancers. One, I had a brief marriage with, Cris Judd, who is an amazing person and whom I love, and then Beau [Casper Smart], who we just broke up, who I love as well. He's a good friend."

The former 'The Hills' star, who is set to marry fiancé William Tell in her native Orange County, California this summer, flew to Cabo San Lucas with a few of her closest female friends, including former co-star Lo Bosworth and DJ Jilly Hendrix, for a long-weekend of pre-wedding festivities.
The 28-year-old fashion designer shared a photograph via Instagram on Thursday evening (19.06.14), showing a line of colourful streamers against a gorgeous ocean background, with the caption: "Let the games begin #donttellmrtell (sic)"

Megan Fox tries to work less than 20 days a year.
The 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' actress - who has two young sons, Noah, 20-months, and Bodhi, four-months, with husband Brian Austin Green - admits she constantly feels guilty about not spending enough time with her family, but claims she can't afford not to do one movie a year.
The 28-year-old star told Parents magazine: "I have to make one movie a year because I have to invest in their future and I have to be able to pay their way through college and be able to provide for them. I'm looking for movies that will shoot in Los Angeles, for projects where I'm part of an ensemble so I can shoot in and out in 10-20 days. It's all about trying to spend as little time away from my kids as possible."
Despite her chosen profession, Megan refuses to let her sons watch TV and sometimes struggles to find ways to keep Noah entertained.
She said: "Before you have kids, you really do not understand how much work it is and how consuming it is.
"It's really hard to manage because I also don't let them watch TV. It's not like I'm going to sit Noah in front of the television so I can take care of Bodhi. I have to figure out how to incorporate Noah into the process and have him help me take care of Bodhi and make sure he doesn't get jealous and make sure nobody's neglected and everybody's needs are being met. As a mom it's hard because I don't feel like I'm ever giving either one of them 100 percent of my attention or 100 percent of myself, so I carry a lot of guilt."
The brunette beauty finds it hard to relax because she is very protective of her children.
She said: "I had no idea how worried I was going to be for the rest of my life. From the moment I gave birth to Noah, that was the first time I was like, 'I love something so much that I will never be the same again.' "

Jimmy Osmond says his kids aren't going to follow him into the family business and work in showbusiness.
The 51-year-old star has been singing with his brothers in The Osmonds since he was a child and he and his siblings still play around a hundred shows a year.
Jimmy has four children - Sophia, Zachary, Arthur, and Isabella - with his wife Michele but so far they have shown no interest in recording songs, and he thinks they're wise to avoid a career in music.
Jimmy - who is currently in the UK with The Osmonds as part of the 'Once In A Lifetime' tour - told BANG Showbiz: "Everyone is out of school so we've had a family holiday and come over together to the UK for these eight shows. My boys love doing that, they like coming round with us to see what their crazy old dad and uncles do. I don't think they really want to join the family business and I don't blame them! One boy wants to be a dentist.
"Showbusiness is different than what it was when we grew up. We grew up the old Hollywood way, we didn't know what we were doing we just kind of fell into all these amazing opportunities with all these cool mentors and you don't really see that happening in today's world and that's kind of sad. It would have been something that would have been fun to hand down to your kids but most entertainment kids really have a hard go anyway, always trying to live up to what their dad's done."
However, the 'Long Haired Lover from Liverpool' singer insists his kids do have the talent to be musicians if they want.
Jimmy did drag his tribe on stage during a Christmas concert and despite their initial reluctance he says they enjoyed the experience.
He explained: "My kids are all really musically talented. I did a show in Florida, a Christmas show, and I made the kids sing on stage and they hated me for it at first. Then at the end of the show they said, 'Dad we'd do that again.' I think it's in their blood but I think they're smart enough to look at doing something else for a living."
The Osmonds are joined on the 'Once In A Lifetime - The Final Tour' by David Essex, Les McKeown's Legendary Bay City Rollers and Showaddywaddy which kicks off at the Phones 4U Arena in Manchester, Northern England, tonight (20.06.14).

The mother-of-four - who has 10-month-old son Jett with her estranged husband Kieran Hayler, along with Harvey, 12, Junior, eight, and Princess Tiaamii, six, from previous relationships - has yet to decide on a name for her unborn daughter, but intends to choose an unusual moniker so her new arrival has a name like her sister.
She announced on ITV chat show 'Loose Women': "I'm stuck for names because of Princess. I have to name the baby something probably as crazy as Princess."
Katie, 36, dumped Kieran after discovering he had been having an affair with her former best pal Jane Pountney for several months, as well as cheating on her with another woman, and says the trauma has resulted in her putting on weight.
She said: "I don't mind the public. I don't mind anyone else criticising me because nobody's perfect but when it's at home and your other half (it's not good).
"I'm insecure at the moment anyway because I did put on four stone but because my husband cheated on me. Now I carrying completely differently now than I did then."
The star believes Kieran - who she has hinted she is willing to give a second chance - may even have strayed because of her baby weight.
She added: "As you know you can't help what your body is going to do. I've been pregnant the whole time I've been with [Kieran]. He only knows me pregnant. It's my own fault. He doesn't actually know me small."

Royal

Britain's Prince Beatrice is not taking a bigger role in royal life.
The 25-year-old royal - who is the daughter of Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson - has undertaken a number of official engagements this week, including reopening the Charles Read Academy school in Lincolnshire and touring the Isle of Wight, but Buckingham Palace officials insist her main priority is still her internship at Sony Pictures Television's London headquarters, which began in January.
A spokesperson told the Daily Mail newspaper: "She has a full-time job in the business sector, and occasionally carries out engagements in support of the queen and the Duke of York as requested.
Beatrice's father has previously expressed a desire for the Goldsmiths university graduate and her sister, 23-year-old Princess Eugenie, to take on some of his official duties.
Asked if he wanted the princesses to undertake more official engagements, he said: "If that is the sort of thing they want to do. I could make use of them because they would take some of the burden off me."
During her visit to the Isle of Wight, Beatrice visited the home and final resting place of her namesake, Queen Victoria's youngest child Princess Beatrice, who died in 1944.
