Marc Webb won’t direct Amazing Spider-Man 4

Marc Webb won't direct 'The Amazing Spider-Man 4'.
The 39-year-old director has announced plans to step down from helming the superhero franchise after the release of 2016's 'The Amazing Spider-Man 3', but hopes to stay on as a producer.
He told The Daily Beast: "I'd like to be involved as a consultant. I've already talked to these guys about it, but in terms of directing it, ['Amazing Spider-Man 3'] will close out my tenure.
"I've had so much fun doing it, but after the third movie, it'll be the time to find something else."
Webb rebooted the Sony Pictures franchise in 2012 with 'The Amazing Spider-Man', starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, and has also helmed the upcoming sequel.
Last year, Sony announced ambitious plans to release two more 'Spider-Man' films in 2016 and 2018, as well as expand the franchise with two spin-off movies, 'The Sinister Six' and 'Venom', which will concentrate on the web-slinging hero's most famous foes.
The two films will be released in the intermittent years between new 'Spider-Man' intallments, meaning there will be a fresh 'Spider-Man'-themed film every year.
Webb also touched on his decision to cut rising star Shailene Woodley - who had filmed scenes as Peter Parker's future girlfriend Mary Jane Watson - from the film entirely.
He explained: "It was really clear that the movie was about Peter and Gwen [Stacy], and to introduce any other elements that people knew had a romantic possibility, it felt wrong. But it wasn't a love triangle. It was just Peter seeing Mary Jane once or twice next door. Shai was only there for a couple of days and it was a very minor part."

Harry Styles writing with Kodaline

Harry Styles is collaborating with Kodaline.
The One Direction hunk was impressed with the Irish band - made up of Steve Garrigan, Jason Boland, Vincent May and Mark Prendergrast - after he saw them play live and decided he wanted to work with them while on a break from touring with his band.
Mark told The Sun newspaper: "He came along to one of our gigs, then showed up at another in LA.
"We ended up going into the studio - I can't remember who suggested it but it worked out well."
The 'High Hopes' band were impressed with Harry's attitude and insist the heartthrob - who was catapulted to the spotlight alongside Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne following their success on UK's 'X Factor' - is "just normal" and doesn't act like an egotistical superstar.
Mark added: "He's a nice lad, just normal. There was no big entourage or airs or graces or any of that, he really just wanted to make some music."
The curly-haired hunk, 20, also teamed up with John Legend recently, to pen a track for US 'X Factor' duo Alex and Sierra and is said to have been interested in writing for 5 Seconds Of Summer and girl band Neon Jungle.

Allison Williams: Engagement doesn’t feel ‘real’

Allison Williams' engagement still doesn't feel "real".
The 'Girls' star got engaged to her boyfriend of three years Ricky Van Veen after he popped the question last month and she admits she has no idea when and where they will marry, much to the frustration of her friends.
She said: "Literally, we have not even started thinking about the logistics of the wedding. It's so funny, even my friends are like, 'So, ballpark, just tell me what time of year, just in case I travel,' and I have no idea.
"As of now, it just exists as this hypothetical thing that will happen eventually. And none of it has started to become real yet. So eventually that'll become things that we're concerned with. But for now, it's just the fun part."
Allison also admitted she daren't let her engagement ring out of her sight as 'Girls' co-star Lena Dunham keeps threatening to "hide" it, so she will even keep it on her when shooting scenes as single Marnie.
She told People: "Lena has already threatened to hide my engagement ring, which I really hope she doesn't do.
"She's like, 'We're gonna have to find ways to hide it while we're shooting.' I was like, 'OK, then I'm going to hide it on part of my body that you can't see.' I know she's obviously kidding."

P. Diddy puts apartment up for sale

P. Diddy is selling his New York apartment for $7.9 million.
The rap mogul is moving out of his 66th floor 2,300 square foot home and is currently searching for a bigger property so he can throw big parties and events similar to those he enjoys at his mansion on Star Island in Miami.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Diddy wants to move downtown, into a larger apartment where he can entertain and throw parties without disturbing the neighbours."
Diddy's current New York property boasts a piano room, a Crestron system which controls sound through the entire apartment, and a living room with a built-in 90-inch flat-screen television.
Diddy - whose real name is Sean Combs - previously listed the property for sale in 2012 for $8.5 million.
As well as looking for a new New York base, the 44-year-old star has also been househunting in Beverly Hills.
According to gossip website TMZ, the 'I'll Be Missing You' star has been looking at a $12 million 11,200 square foot home in the gated Beverly Ridge community, but is investigating the local homeowners' association's policies on parties before he will consider making an offer.
And it may be that their rules are good enough for him, as though big parties require a valet service and security and noise regulations are enforced, the neighbourhood body are said to be "flexible" as the community is home to lots of famous residents who are known for their parties.
The property - which Kim Kardashian considered buying last year - was custom built for Keyshawn Johnson in 2003, but the sportsman sold it the following year.

Nicole Scherzinger getting to know Lewis Hamilton again

Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton are getting to know each other again.
The 35-year-old singer and the 29-year-old Formula One star have been dating on and off since 2006 and although they appeared to have split for good last year, rumours emerged last week that the pair had got engaged after Lewis posted a picture of them on Instagram and referred to Nicole as "wifey" in the caption.
However, though Lewis has insisted they haven't got engaged, insiders say the couple's relationship is very much back on.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "There's always speculation and they are very committed to one another but they have only been back together since Christmas.
"They want to spend time getting to know each other again without having to worry about wedding bells."
The couple's relationship has failed in the past as they've struggled to juggle their work commitments with spending time with one another, but as Nicole has decided to step down from her position as a judge on 'The X Factor' she could have more time to visit the racer as he competes in Grand Prix across the world.
Lewis has also revealed that his relationship with his father, Anthony Hamilton, is back on track after falling out with one another following the race car driver's decision to drop him as his manager in 2010.
Speaking at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne yesterday (17.03.14), he said: "There are no problems between us now, he even goes to some of my races and always supports me ... My dad is my dad and we have a normal dad-and-son relationship."

David Beckham’s nephew for second operation

David Beckham's nephew is undergoing a second life-saving operation.
The retired soccer star is praying his 11-week-old nephew, Jenson James, who has been in intensive care suffering from severe respiratory problems, will pull through after a stomach operation, following an emergency tracheotomy, where a tube was inserted into his throat.
Jenson's dad, Kevin Briggs, 41, told The Sun newspaper: "David calls every day and has been amazing. His mum Sandra is also a godsend. We're praying for Jenson."
Jenson is the son of David's sister Lynne and hasn't been home since he was born on December 30, having been moved to London's Great Ormond Street Hospital from Queen's Hospital in Romford, Essex.
He has suffered with breathing difficulties and doctors think he could also have gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD), a common condition where stomach acid leaks out of the stomach and into the oesophagus, meaning he struggles to keep food down.
It was previously revealed David - who has four children, Brooklyn,14, Romeo, 11, Cruz, eight, and two-year-old daughter Harper with wife Victoria - was delighted to become an uncle for the fifth time but has been seriously concerned about Jenson's health.
He has been in ''constant contact'' with his sister and her partner Kevin since his nephew was born.

Ricky Wilson to have own quiz show?

Ricky Wilson is in talks to land his own quiz show.
The 'Voice' UK coach has impressed Wall To Wall producers so much that they're keen for him to host his own programme on BBC, which will be similar to the game show 'Never Mind the Buzzcocks'.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Producers are developing ideas to match his personality -- irreverent and credible."
Meanwhile, Ricky's co-star Will.i.am is also exploring other TV ventures as he will feature in a one-off 60-minute film with Joanna Lumley, which will air later this month.
The documentary, which is entitled 'Joanna Lumley Meets Will.i.am', will follow the 'Absolutely Fabulous' star as she meets the Black Eyed Peas singer, whom she has become "fascinated" with since watching him carrying the the Olympic Torch in the relay in 2012.
The 67-year-old actress travelled to Los Angeles in California to spend seven days at Will.i.am's house, meeting his friend and family, and getting an insight into the singer's life.
She said previously: "The film we made together is truly a rare thing -- a side of will.i.am the public hasn't seen yet, with interviews with friends, family and colleagues."
'Joanna Lumley Meets Will.i.am' will air on March 28 on BBC One.

Miley Cyrus and Flaming Lips record Beatles cover

Miley Cyrus and Flaming Lips are recording a Beatles cover.
The 'Adore' hitmaker and the US rock band have announced they have teamed up in the studio and are in the process of creating their own version of the 1967 hit 'Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds'.
Frontman Wayne Coyne took to Instagram yesterday (16.03.14) to announce the collaboration.
He posted a picture of Miley, 21, in the studio, accompanied with the caption: "Miley in the studio vomiting diamonds while singing Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds!! If you're a Beatles and John Lennon freak you gonna love love love this track!! Got Andrew from MGMT too!!!! (sic)".
Wayne, 53, hinted at a possible collaboration last Friday (14.03.14) when he posted a picture of Miley rolling a cigarette, but he failed to divulge too much information.
He wrote: "Recording with Miley... High as f**k..."
This isn't the first time the duo have teamed up as Wayne has joined Miley on stage on a number of occasions recently during her 'Bangerz' world tour.
'Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds', which was written by John Lennon and Sir Paul McCartney, featured on the Beatles 1967 best-selling album 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band'.
The track was always believed to be about drugs, but John insisted it was inspired by a drawing etched by his son Julian when he was at nursery school.
However, in 2004, Sir Paul confirmed the song is about LSD.

Kara Tointon hasn’t danced since Strictly

Kara Tointon hasn't danced since competing on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The former 'EastEnders' actress won the ballroom show in 2010 but is "sad" to admit she hasn't used the skills she learnt since lifting the glitterball trophy.
Asked if she still dances, she said: "No, I don't. I try by myself around the house but it's hard - you need a partner. It's one of those things you do all day, every day for six months, then it finishes and you never dance again. It's really quite sad."
The 30-year-old star insists she hasn't danced because the styles she learned are not "appropriate" in ordinary settings.
She said: "You don't want to show everyone up and pull out the shapes, it's hard pulling out a tango in the middle of a dancefloor ... they're only appropriate in certain places. I's all choreographed, isn't it - I'm not so good at the freestyling thing."
However, Kara could get to use her skills again soon as she and fellow former 'Strictly' stars Denise Van Outen and Kimberley Walsh are working on a dance show together.
She told BBC Radio 1: "We got chatting and realised how much we enjoyed it and we're all from a background where we love the jazz hands. We hadn't ever done this particular style, ballroom, and we'd love to do some more so we're developing a show together that we're involved in writing it, so that's in the process at the moment."

Corrie’s Maria ‘shattered’ by Marcus

'Coronation Street's' Maria Connor is "shattered" by Marcus Dent's betrayal.
The Weatherfield favourite will have a breakdown when she discovers her boyfriend - played by Charlie Condou - has been cheating on her with Todd Grimshaw (Bruno Langley), and will begin acting odd.
Samia Ghadie, who plays Maria, said: "She's heading for some sort of breakdown and there'll be some unexpected behaviour from her. It's one betrayal too far, so all of her past tragedies will come to a head. She has no trust in anyone anymore. Marcus has shattered her dreams completely."
Maria will end her relationship with midwife Marcus and the messy split will take the character to a dark place.
Samia explained: "She wants to kill him. She's fuming with them both. She sees them in the street together and presumes they're now an item, that's another kick in the teeth."
And the hairdresser is further shocked to discover her friend Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine) has been suspicious about Marcus and Todd.
The actress added to Soaplife magazine: "She is furious Fiz never said anything. Maria's angry at the world and feels as though everyone is laughing at her. She tells Fiz she doesn't need enemies with friends like her."
