Liam Hemsworth injures ankle

Liam Hemsworth has injured his ankle.
Production on 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2' was halted over the weekend after the 24-year-old hunk - who reprises his role of Gale Hawthorne in the final installment of the franchise - hurt his foot last Friday (23.05.14).
According to E! News, filming stopped on Saturday (24.05.14) and resumed just yesterday (27.05.14) on the big budget movie, which is due for release next year.
Liam was spotted limping in Berlin, Germany, over the weekend and had a second doctor's check-up yesterday.
The star was accompanied by a driver and two members of his entourage as he visited the doctor's office and is thought to have been there for 90 minutes.
Liam and his co-stars Jennifer Lawrence, 23, and Josh Hutcherson, 21, have picked up numerous war wounds while filming the high-octane 'Hunger Games' movies over the last four years.
Josh previously revealed that he suffered a concussion after being kicked in the head by his Oscar-winning co-star, Jennifer.
He said: "The only time I got hurt was when I got kicked in the side of the head by Jennifer. We were hanging out and she was like, 'I can kick over your head', and I was like, 'No way.' She said, 'Watch!' But then she kicked me right in the temple.
"She felt so bad. She was crying. I've had a couple of concussions before so I knew what it feels like when it happens. We had to have a neurologist come in. It ended up being a very mild concussion, but still, it was a concussion."

Mick Jagger approves of Metallica for Glastonbury

Sir Mick Jagger is pleased Metallica are headlining this year's Glastonbury Festival.
The Rolling Stones frontman, who has resumed the band's '14 On Fire Tour' after the death of his girlfriend, fashion designer L'Wren Scott, thinks the controversial decision to book Metallica as the first heavy metal band to play Glastonbury will pay off.
Sir Mick told The Sun newspaper: "I've seen them live and they're going to be great."
The singer, who headlined the festival at Worthy Farm in 2013 with band mates Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts, also claimed he had a "great time" at the event and their success has seen the group sign up for more festivals this summer.
Metallica will close the line-up on Saturday, June 28, with headline acts Kasabian and Arcade Fire also on the bill.
Drummer Lars Ulrich said: "To be honest with you, we didn't sit around and have a big conversation when the call came.
"In Metallica we have a saying called a 'no-brainer'. Headlining Glastonbury is a no-brainer. We didn't need to sit around thinking about the pros and cons."
The group are the first metal band to ever headline the festival in its 44-year history and admit fans have had mixed reactions to the announcement.
Meanwhile, Sir Mick and his band mates performed their first gig on Monday night (26.05.14) since L'Wren's suicide two months ago.
They took to the stage at Oslo's Telenor Arena in Norway and played to a sold-out crowd of more than 23,000 people.

Simon Cowell pays Amanda Holden compliments

Simon Cowell has been "amazingly complimentary" of Amanda Holden's looks.
The 43-year-old star - who serves on the 'Britain's Got Talent' judging panel with Simon - has received more than a few comments about her glowing appearance on the show this year and finds it extremely flattering as her colleague sees her "right up close".
She explained: "He's been amazingly complimentary to me this year.
"I know there have been comments on the sly from Simon, too, about how I look, so of course that's the biggest compliment of all to me because I'm sitting next to someone who sees me right up close. I can't get away with anything!"
Amanda admits she has often changed her hairstyle or make-up depending on Simon's reaction, although he would never be as forward as to tell her he didn't like her appearance.
She added: "He's never rude, but does this thing where he'll just kind of stare and his eyes will widen.
"I remember one time I came on with this particularly Eighties-style hair and he just kind of honed in on it with this look on his face. I thought, 'Quick, hairbrush!' "
Meanwhile, Amanda insists she isn't in competition with fellow judge Alesha Dixon, 35, and is tired of people trying to stoke female rivalry between them.
She told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "One of the biggest annoyances I've had was when Alesha joined the show and I got hundreds of questions saying, 'How do you feel about working with someone eight years younger than you?' I thought, 'I don't give a toss.'
"Perhaps if it had been someone similar to me, then possibly it might have become a sticky situation, but Alesha and I couldn't be more different, physically and in our style."

Michelle Keegan picked Corrie funeral song

Michelle Keegan picked her own song for her 'Coronation Street' funeral.
The brunette beauty's character Tina McIntyre will meet a grisly end when she plunges off a balcony to her death after a scuffle with a mystery killer, and the actress admits it was strange helping to plan her alter-ego's funeral.
She said: "I'll still watch the show. I've been bought up on 'Corrie'. My family are still massive fans of it. It's going to be weird watching my own funeral. I've picked my own funeral song as well."
Michelle found herself washing off fake blood in the shower after filming the gory final scenes.
She explained: "I've had lots of blood in my hair. You have a shower and it's like your own death scene, because there's that much red. It's really weird. Very glamorous, I tell you!"
Michelle, who has been on the ITV soap for six-and-a-half years, plans on taking Tina's gold earrings with her when she leaves the soap to remember her time there.
She added to Britain's OK! magazine: "I'm taking her earrings. They used to be gold and now they're brown - they've gone through the times with me. And I will probably take a beer mat from the Rovers."

Katie Price kicks cheating Kieran out of home

Katie Price has kicked her cheating husband Kieran Hayler out of her mansion.
The pregnant beauty, who was left devastated after discovering the builder and former stripper has cheated on her with her best friend Jane Pountney, 49, had him picked up from her house by his mum after he begged but failed to win her back.
A family friend told The Sun newspaper: "Kieran has been well and truly shown who is boss in this marriage.
"He suffered not only the humiliation of being booted out of the marital home with his tail between his legs, but also the demeaning process of his mother having to pick him up.
"He has nothing without Katie. She made him beg for forgiveness in the most public way - proving his guilt - then threw it back in his face and kicked him out."
Kieran, 27, admitted sleeping with married Jane more than 25 times, including secret sex sessions in Katie's stables, and is now paying for therapy to treat his "compulsive addiction."
His mother drove him back to their family home with an overnight bag on Monday (26.05.14) after Katie, 36, decided she'd had enough of his lies.
The source added: "Kieran is a mess and will do anything to save the marriage. But Katie won't be made to look the fool.
"His brain was in his pants and it has cost him dearly."
The brunette beauty, who is pregnant with Kieran's second child, had been letting him stay in the spare room of her home in West Sussex so he could continue to see their nine-month-old son Jett.
She also has children Harvey, 12, Junior, eight, and Princess, six, from past relationships.
Kieran wrote a letter to Jane dismissing their seven-month affair as just a "dirty, sleazy sh*g" and claimed he was desperate to convince his wife he wanted to save their marriage.
Jane's husband Derrick, 51, is now said to be filing for divorce.

Harry Styles knits while on tour

Harry Styles has been spending his spare time knitting while on tour.
The One Direction hunk, 20, who is currently travelling around the world with band mates Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, has found using knitting needles and creating clothing is the best way to unwind when he has a spare hour in his hectic schedule.
A source told The Daily Star newspaper: "Harry has always been able to knit, he finds it relaxing.
"But he's never put as many hours in as he is doing at the moment.
"He says it's the only way he can unwind after hours of listening to fans screaming for 1D.
"The other lads tease him for it, but he doesn't care. Harry joked he'll be knitting them all Christmas presents."
Meanwhile, while Harry has been lost in his new hobby, Louis, 22, and Zayn, 21, have appeared in a leaked video sharing a "joint".
The pop stars are seen joking about marijuana while reportedly smoking a suspicious looking self-rolled cigarette in the back of their tour van while being driven to Peru's Estadio Nacional in Lima on April 27.
In the video, obtained by MailOnline.com, Louis says: "So, here we are, leaving Peru. Joint lit. Happy days!"
The pair continue to swear and joke about the police catching them as an officer rides past on a motorcycle.
Louis adds: "One nil b***h! Look at this b***h! He's having a look. He's thinking, 'I'm sure I can smell an illegal substance in there'. And he's hit the nail on the head."
One Direction are yet to comment on the video but sources say it could have been stolen from one of the band member's mobile phones and lawyers have been informed.

Martin Kemp wishes Tom Hardy for Cray Twins role

Martin Kemp wished Tom Hardy luck for playing both Kray Twins in 'Legend'.
The 52-year-old actor starred as Reggie Kray in 1990's drama 'The Krays' and insists he had enough difficult job portraying just one of the brothers.
Kemp admits Hardy who is in talks to play the both Reggie and Ronnie Kray - who were known as perpetrators of organised crime in the East End of London during the 1950s and 1960s - may be taking on an ambitious role.
When asked if he had any advice for Hardy for playing the London gangster brothers, Kemp told BANG Showbiz: "He's gonna play both parts, interesting. I had enough trouble playing one part. Tom's a great actor. That's his decision so I wish him luck. I don't have any advice - it is just another role but playing both characters hmm ... they weren't identical twins, they were slightly different. I just wish him luck - it is just another role."
Meanwhile, Kemp who recently directed British crime drama 'Top Dog', wanted to create a piece which was different to other things he'd worked on.
He added: "What I wanted to try and do was to make a performance film. So it was all about the acting. It was about what happens behind closed doors - what are the knock on effects of the fightings that had gone off between the boys. Looking at the fights and the guys from the woman's eye, from the woman's perspective and in that way it became a performance film.
"I have seen lots of films where it's just fights and the performance sometimes lack. And I didn't want to make that -I wanted to make a rounded film."
'Top Dog' is out now on Blu-ray and DVD through Universal Pictures.

Jamie Lynn Spears ready to ‘prove’ herself as an artist

Jamie Lynn Spears is "proud" of her sister Britney Spears' achievements but is ready to show what a great artist she can be.
The 23-year-old star has released her debut EP, 'The Journey', this week and although she is happy to be associated with her older pop star sister she feels ready to "prove" herself as a country musician.
Speaking about Britney, 32, to Billboard, Jamie Lynn said: "I'm proud of my sister. She's worked hard to become extremely successful. It makes me proud, but it also gives me an outlet to prove who I am as a person and what I love ... For the past few years, I've been writing, working with different people, demoing songs, and really trying to figure out what the exact sound I wanted to put out there. My fans have been so supportive, and have been so patient for me to get the music to them ... I just want to connect with them, and them to get a grasp of who I am as an artist."
The budding singer insists her love of country songs is deep rooted in her childhood when she was growing up in Louisiana.
Jamie Lynn - who has a five-year-old daughter Maddie, from her relationship with Casey Aldridge - says she inherited her appreciation of the genre from her dad James.
The 'How Could I Want More' singer - who is married to Jamie Watson - said: "My first musical memories would have to be with my daddy at the dirt bike track. He loved Merle Haggard and all the greats. I love Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty - especially the duets they had together. I am a big Patsy Cline fan, but I also love Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson. What you grow up on will always have a special place in your heart."

Damian Lewis misses Claire Danes

Damian Lewis misses Claire Danes since he left 'Homeland'.
The actor has been having withdrawal symptoms since his character, Marine Sergeant Nicholas Brody, was killed off in series three of the political drama, and wishes he could still be on set with his old co-star.
Speaking during the first ever London TimesTalks event organised by the New York Times last week, he sighed: "I miss Danesy! I miss her! They'll be starting up again now..."
The British thespian almost turned down a role in the hit Showtime programme because he didn't want to be apart from his wife, Helen McCrory, and their two children.
He explained: "Having had this wonderful but tough experience living in Los Angeles away from home, I was very reluctant to do to another TV show. The script was sent to me by my American agent who said, 'Just read this one'.
"Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa are involved, they ran '24'. Claire Danes is doing it. I very nearly didn't do it, for personal reasons - going to live in Charlotte, north Carolina, and I wasn't going to move the family. But there were just too many compelling reasons [to sign up]."
Fans the world over were distraught when Brody was brutally killed off in the season three finale, but Damian feels lucky to have been a part of the show for so long.
He said in a conversation with International New York Times theatre critic Matt Wolf: "When I saw in season one how many people were losing their lives, I thought, 'Any moment now!' You sing for a long period of time, they can get rid of you, kill you, close down the entire series at the drop of a hat.
"It was intimated to me very strongly that I would only be in this for a couple of seasons. When it became a huge hit, all the executives said, 'You can't kill him now!' "

Chrissy Teigen exhausted by John Legend’s talent

Chrissy Teigen finds how talented her husband, John Legend, is "exhausting".
The model wed the 'Ordinary People' singer in an intimate ceremony in Italy last September but she jokes she's already getting tired of his overachieving.
She told UsWeekly.com: "Of course I'm proud. But at the same time, this guy - how often can you be proud of him? I actually told him this the other day - I was like, 'You come to me every single day with some high honor, another number one...' like 'Oh, we've reached number one in this country now.'
"I'm like, 'John, I can't keep up with how talented you are, and I can't keep up this excitement. I'm going to have to keep giving you crap because listen, it's getting exhausting.'
"You know how when someone just aces everything and you're just like 'Alright buddy, chill out'...it's gotten to that point now."
Chrissy, 28, also talked about how she supports the old adage that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
She added: "If I don't have breakfast, then all sorts of things go wrong throughout the entire day and I'm not kidding.
"I tend to eat much worse throughout the day if I don't get [breakfast]... I mean, I can eat anything for breakfast, too - we're talking anything - and I can still eat well the rest of the day."

Angelina Jolie ‘still great friends’ with Jonny Lee Miller

Angelina Jolie is "still great friends" with her first husband, Jonny Lee Miller.
The 'Maleficent' actress met the English star on the set of 1995 movie 'Hackers' and says she still has a lot of affection for both him and the movie.
Angelina - who split from Johnny in 1999 after three years of marriage - told Buzzfeed when she looks back on that movie she feels "love," adding: "That's where I met Jonny, who is still a great friend.
"So I think of him when I think of that. Although, I'm sure the movie looks so ancient now, but we had a lot of fun making that."
The 38-year-old star went on to marry Billy Bob Thornton from 2000 to 2003, and is now engaged to another actor, Brad Pitt.
The star also discussed her Oscar winning role in 'Girl, Interrupted', in which she plays a woman sent to a sanitarium alongside Winona Ryder.
She explained: "I really, genuinely thought I was the only character who was sane in the entire film.
"And if you watch it closely, that's exactly how I was playing it: I am just the only sane person here. I was actually almost upset when people said I was so good at playing insane because I never thought she was insane.
"She was just incredibly honest, which, I guess, made her seem crazy."
