Louis Tomlinson wants advice from Sir Elton John after buying his hometown soccer club Doncaster Rovers.
The One Direction hunk, who has gone into business with former chairman John Ryan, admits he needs to "mature a little bit" and is looking to speak to the 'Rocket Man' hitmaker, who became chairman of Watford FC in 1976, to get tips on his new role.
Louis told The Sun newspaper: "I had thought about seeking his advice - but how on earth do you get in touch with Elton John? I don't know. Hopefully this will send the message out!"
The 22-year-old star feels he'll need to start acting "dead serious" and stop being childish, after he was filmed apparently smoking a marijuana-laced cigarette in Peru with bandmate Zayn Malik recently.
He said: "I can't be a big kid any more or play pranks. I am absolutely going to be very involved in the club.
"I will be committing a lot of time to it. I've said that I want to be across absolutely everything.
"I'll definitely be going to board meetings, which is ridiculous, but I guess I am a businessman now."
The pop star asked fellow bandmates Zayn, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne for their blessing before buying the club and dreams of the League One side getting to the Premier League.
Louis recalled: "I said, 'Look boys, I'm going to do this. Do any of you have a problem with it?' All the boys were super-supportive - especially Niall, who is very, very excited.
"I know there will be a few eyebrows raised about me doing this. But hopefully the results go a certain way and we'll create a successful club."
The young star joked that his only experience is playing soccer video games but insists he's up for the challenge and thinks he has what it takes to help the club.
He said: "I still play Football Manager, actually - I absolutely love it! But it's like playing the game for real now."
Louis, who is worth around £14 million, and John, who is a plastic surgery tycoon, have launched a £2 million crowdfunder campaign to ask for help from fans and supporters and will also put their own money into supporting the side.

Joey Essex thought he was going to die in Brazil.
The 'Educating Joey Essex: Football Fever' star was terrified when he was left walking the streets of a favela in just a pair of tiny shorts and was convinced he would be singled out because of his attire.
He said: "I didn't have my hairdryer with me. I didn't have no clothes, nothing.
"They took me to the beach before they took me to the favela so I was in a tiny pair of shorts and I was like 'Thanks, cheers for telling me to pack my overnight bag', and they thought it was funny.
"Everyone in the favela wears trousers. You can see why I was scared.
"It was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be -- at some points, I thought I was going to die."
Joey, 23, was so afraid of the notorious Rocinha favela, he refused to stay overnight as planned.
He said: "I didn't stay in the favela, I got scared. I don't know if it's in the show but I ran out of the home in the favela."
The former 'Only Way Is Essex' star was particularly horrified after he discovered his Rio security team wouldn't accompany him into the slums as they thought it too dangerous.
He told The Sun newspaper: "When we went to the favela, no police or security are allowed near because if they go in the people round there pull out guns and shoot them straight away. But I wasn't going to back out.
"The man I was with said 'The people who have got guns have got really moody faces. He said 'Just don't look at them'."

Ed Sheeran was "wary" of working with Pharrell Williams.
The 23-year-old singer's recent single 'Sing' was produced and co-written by the 'Happy' hitmaker, and it required a different way of working for the British star.
Ed explained: "Working with Pharrell was a different way of writing a song for me. It was completely new but a good way of writing.
"He brought in the bass, hook and the drums and then I wrote all the top line.
"I was wary at first but now I am really happy about that song."
Some of Ed's new album 'x' - which is pronounced 'multiply' - was produced by the legendary Rick Rubin and the 'Drunk' star was determined to "impress" when the producer first expressed an interest in working with him.
He added in an interview with The Sun newspaper: "Rick came in late. He came to gigs and expressed an interest but it was only in August when he invited me around his house in Malibu. I had my guitar with me and he asked me to play and I work best in those situations where you want to impress. He reassessed where I was with the album and came on board.
"He took all the bulls**t away and made me play all the songs as live and kept the raw element to the album."

Danniella Westbrook wants to get married in Liverpool.
The former 'EastEnders' actress, who is engaged to 24-year-old Tom Richards, wants to tie the knot with her beau in the English city after nixing plans to marry abroad.
She said: "I said I wanted to get married abroad, but now I want to get married in Liverpool. It's England's best kept secret!"
Danniella - who recently experienced a heartbreaking miscarriage - admits she isn't interested in an engagement ring from Tom and would rather he splash out on a nice holiday for her and her kids from previous relationships, Kai, 17, and Jodi, 12, whom she had with ex-husband Kevin Jenkins.
She said: "I didn't want a ring. We talked about it and he asked, 'Would you get married again?' and I said, 'Yeah, but don't do the ring thing.' I'd rather go on holiday.
"We were in Spain and he threw me in a freezing swimming pool and then when we came up from under the water, he said, 'Will you marry me?' "
The 40-year-old star has battled cocaine addiction and bipolar disorder in the past, so she insists her family are less shocked about the 16-year age gap between her and Tom.
Daniella told Britain's OK! magazine: "After the things I've put my mum through, an age difference is the last thing that would shock her! And if it's good enough for [former on-screen mum] Barbara Windsor, it's good enough for me!"

Katie Price thinks Mel B's brutal honesty will be "refreshing" on 'The X Factor'.
The glamour model is delighted her good friend will be joining the ITV singing competition's panel this autumn and thinks the straight-talking Spice Girl is going to be the most honest judge to date.
She said: "I like Mel because she says it exactly how it is. There's no beating around the bush or massaging egos. If Mel thinks you're rubbish, she'll tell you. It will be refreshing to hear her comments.
"Personally, I don't think she'll be all about the outfit or style wars like some judges. She'll be more passionate about the talent and concentrating on the contestants."
Katie, 36, who has just dumped her husband Kieran Hayler after discovering he had cheated on her with her best pal Jane Pountney, has no doubt Mel's Scary Spice '90s alter-ego will make a comeback when she's put in the ultra competitive environment.
She explained in her Now magazine column: "Mel will definitely answer Cheryl Cole, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh back and not put up with any crap. She'll be all out to win it, that's for sure.
"Mel's done brilliantly cutting her teeth on the 'X Factor' Australia and 'America's Got Talent' - so now they're sharpened, she'll be scary with her views."

Tom Cruise will be the first actor to film inside the Houses of Parliament.
The 51-year-old actor is set to return to the 'Mission: Impossible' franchise for a fifth movie, which will be filmed in London, and studio bosses are delighted to have been granted access to the iconic landmark.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "'MI5' will feature numerous well-known locations in London but the Houses of Parliament is clearly the biggest coup.
"Tom Cruise will obviously feature heavily in the scenes.
"You can imagine the writers are excited about what stints they could pull off inside the Commons."
As well as parliament, movie bosses have also been looking into shooting scenes at The Shard, the Emirates Airline Thames cable car and the Olympic Stadium.
A source previously said: "A few items are set to be filmed around London, including a motorbike chase down The Mall, followed by a boat chase scene along The Thames. They are also going to do some work around the Emirates Cable Cars."
Before filming in London, Cruise - who reprises his role as Ethan Hunt in the action movie - and his co-stars will be in the Canary Islands, where they plan to shoot scenes on Tenerife.

Brad Pitt will be best man at George Clooney's wedding.
The 'Monuments Men' actor is set to tie the knot with girlfriend Amal Alamuddin later this year, and his aunt thinks his close friend and 'Burn After Reading' co-star will be by his side to offer support at the ceremony
Starla Clooney said: "I would say he'd choose Brad Pitt for his best man. They are good friends, I would think that's who he'd choose."
Starla - who works as a non-denominational minister - also confirmed her nephew is planning to marry the 36-year-old lawyer in Italy, with his parents Nick and Nina Clooney planning a trip to Europe to help with the preparations.
She told MailOnline: "I did hear Cincinnati, since it's not that far from Kentucky - that's one of the places they were considering - but apparently Cincinnati didn't win, it's not going to be the place.
"I do know that Nick and Nina are planning a trip over to Italy in the next week or so to, I guess, scope out some stuff."
However, she offered her own services to preside over a local ceremony if the couple decide to have another wedding for those family members who can't travel.
She added: "Sure, I'd do it in a heartbeat!"
Meanwhile, several members of George's extended family were left disappointed after Amal missed his annual family reunion in Maysville, Kentucky, because she was working in London.
Ben Breslin, 55, a cousin of George's, who hosted a big party on Saturday night, said: "When he came in the front door, I was looking around asking 'Where is she?'
"He explained she's a lawyer and apparently she's across the sea somewhere working on a case, off saving the world. It was a shame because I would have liked to have met her."

John Lloyd Young wasn't nervous meeting Clint Eastwood for the first time.
The 38-year-old actor plays The Four Seasons' frontman Franki Valli in the upcoming film adaptation of the play 'Jersey Boys', but he claims he wasn't nervous meeting Eastwood - who helmed the project - because he'd played the character hundreds of times before on Broadway.
Speaking about performing the play with Eastwood in the audience, Young told Collider: "At that point I had probably done the role about 1200 times over the years. It was my domain, Broadway was my domain, I knew that I was good in this role, that this was something I'd done a lot of times.
"You could think that maybe I'd be nervous that he was there, especially knowing that he'd be directing the movie, but I was just so proud to be able show Clint my best work."
'Jersey Boys' tells the story of Franki Valli and The Four Seasons and chronicles their rise to fame in the 1960s with hit songs such as 'Walk Like a Man' and 'Big Girls Don't Cry' and the subsequent troubles that came with their success.
Eastwood - who is known for his roles in films such as 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly' and 'Gran Torino' - claims The Four Seasons were far from being poster boys and describes them as a group of "juvenile delinquents".
'Jersey Boys' is out in cinemas worldwide today (20.06.14).

Lupita Nyong'o has admitted the red carpet is like a "war zone".
The '12 Years A Slave' star insists people tried to warn her about the pressures of awards season, but she didn't truly understand what they meant until she'd already gone through the "intense experience".
Speaking in the US Vogue magazine, she said: "Everyone said, 'Brace yourself, Lupita! Keep a granola bar in that clutch of yours!'
"I didn't really understand what they meant, and it was only once it was past that I realised that my body had been holding on by a thread to get through this very intense experience. Nothing can prepare you for awards season.
"The red carpet feels like a war zone, except you cannot fly or fight; you just have to stand there and take it."
The 31-year-old actress also admits she was shocked by how quickly she became famous following her role in the historical drama film last year, which led to her winning an Oscar award.
She explained: "It just feels like the entertainment industry exploded into my life. People who seemed so distant all of a sudden were right in front of me and recognising me - before I recognised them!
"For a split second I looked behind me to see who they were flashing at - and it was me! That was, I think, the beginning of the end of my anonymity."

A source told Life & Style magazine: "Lamar wants Khloé back. He does not want to end the marriage, and that's why he won't sign the divorce papers. He just won't let her go. He's sober and back on track now -- and thinks he can get her back."
Meanwhile, Khloé has made it obvious she doesn't want to rekindle her romance with Lamar after she recently went public with her new boyfriend French Montana, 29.
However, the brunette beauty's family - especially her sister Kim Kardashian and stepfather Bruce Jenner - are reportedly concerned that the rapper could be using her to boost his celebrity profile.
A source said previously: "[They] are very skeptical of him. They think he's using Khloé for fame."
The couple have been virtually inseparable since April, aside from the week Khloé spent in Paris and Florence for Kim, 33, and Kanye West's wedding last month, and most recently took a trip to South Africa together for the MTV Africa Music Awards earlier this month.
