Shia LaBeouf chased homeless man before arrest

Shia LaBeouf reportedly chased a homeless man around New York City before his arrest.
The 'Nymphomaniac' star, who was charged with harassment, disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing for allegedly using offensive language and smoking while watching a performance of 'Cabaret' on Broadway on Thursday night (26.06.14), was spotted arguing with homeless man over a baseball cap on the streets of the city a few hours beforehand.
A source, who shared photographs of the dispute with gossip website TMZ.com, said that the actor - who was wearing a bright blue T-shirt with a huge hole on the shoulder - was acting as if he knew the man, but seemed "whacked out" and was making no sense.
The eyewitness added that the 28-year-old actor repeatedly shouted, "It's me, Shia," at the man.
Police were called to Studio 54 theatre on Thursday night after he refused to listen to security guards when they asked him to leave, before allegedly proceeding to swear at them and physically interfere with them.
New York Police Department spokesperson George Tsourovakas previously said: "He was being rather difficult and combative, verbally ... To the point where security guards asked him to please leave the premises and he refused. Police were called and he was detained and arrested."
The 'Transformers' star, who allegedly hurled homophobic slurs and spat at his arresting officers, had his first hearing in court this morning (27.06.14) and was released afterwards, but is due back in front of a judge on July 24.
Shia has sparked fears for his mental health in recent months and stormed out of a press conference in Berlin in February before attending his film premiere wearing a paper bag on his head that read, "I am not famous any more."
He was also forced to apologise for alleged plagiarism late last year and starred in his own silent art installation in Los Angeles.

Shia LaBeouf released after disorderly arrest

Shia LaBeouf has been released from police custody following his arrest on Thursday night (26.06.14).
The troubled actor was spotted leaving a New York Police station this morning (27.06.14) after he was escorted from a Broadway theatre in handcuffs for yelling at officers and slapping people's bottoms.
The 28-year-old star was charged with harassment, disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing for allegedly using offensive language and smoking while watching a performance of 'Cabaret', which stars Michelle Williams.
Police were called to Studio 54 theatre at 8:45 pm (EDT) after he refused to listen to security guards when they asked him to leave, before allegedly proceeding to swear at them and physically interfere with them.
New York Police Department spokesperson George Tsourovakas said: "He was being rather difficult and combative, verbally ... To the point where security guards asked him to please leave the premises and he refused. Police were called and he was detained and arrested."
The 'Transformers' star had his first hearing in court this morning and is due back on July 24.
Shia - who has sparked fears for his mental health in recent months - has had a bizarre few months in the lead up to his arrest after he stormed out of a 'Nymphomaniac' press conference in Berlin before arriving on the red carpet for the film's German premiere wearing a paper bag on his head that read, "I am not famous any more."
He was also forced to apologise for alleged plagiarism and starred in his own silent art installation in Los Angeles.

Charlotte Casiraghi and Gad Elmaleh baptise baby son

Monaco's Charlotte Casiraghi and Gad Elmaleh have baptised their baby boy Raphäel.
The couple had the religious ceremony carried out at the royal chapel of Monaco's palace last Sunday (22.06.14) with their close friends and family in attendance.
Following the baptism, Charlotte, 27, and her French comedian boyfriend, 43, had laid out a lavish lunch for their guests - including Princess Caroline, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene - in the palace gardens, according to HELLO! magazine.
The loved-up duo - who have been together since January 2012, welcomed Raphäel into the world in December last year, in the same maternity ward where the princess was born in Monaco in 1986.
However, the youngster is yet to make his first official royal appearance, although he has been snapped by the paparazzi a number of times.
Meanwhile, Gad gushed about his stunning beau in an interview just before she gave birth and was adamant she'd make the best mother "in the world".
He said at the time: "Charlotte is very intelligent and has a great sense of humour. She's doing well and is so excited about becoming a mother.
"Charlotte will be the best mother in the world because she's generous and loving. She has all the right qualities to be a good mother. I'm a very happy man. I'm so lucky to be with her and I'm at a point in my life where building a family is very important."

Ed Sheeran: I fell in love with beanbag

Ed Sheeran fell in love with a beanbag after taking MDMA.
The 23-year-old singer once developed an obsession with the stuffed cushions after he decided to rebel against his "good boy" personality and take ecstasy with his friends at a wedding he attended in Ibiza, Spain.
He explained during an interview with music streaming service Spotify: "It was weird, because I haven't taken it [MDMA] since, it was literally just a one-time thing. It was a wedding, and I was having a mojito, and my mate was like, 'Do you want to try it, it tastes really bad if you put it in your mouth but I'll just put it in your drink and it'll be fine.' It was MDMA and I fell in love with a beanbag.
"I literally got home and bought six beanbags! During it all I felt a lot of things: I felt anxiety, I felt love, I felt warm, I felt a bit weird. And afterwards, you spend all day just thinking about what you've been through."
The 'Lego House' hitmaker admits he went through a stage where he tried a number of drugs, but soon realised that he preferred drinking alcohol instead of illegal substances.
He explained: "I found out I'm not missing much - that experience [taking MDMA] was probably the best out of all of them. I think alcohol's a lot more fun."

Jenny McCarthy fired from The View

Jenny McCarthy has reportedly been fired from 'The View'.
The TV presenter - who joined the popular US panel show in September 2013 - is said to have been cut from the programme after bosses thought the hosts lacked chemistry.
According to gossip website TMZ, she was told she had been fired - along with co-star Sherri Shepherd.
Jenny took to Twitter on Thursday (26.06.14) to break the news to her fans.
She wrote: "My View will be changing too. As will with many hard working folks.
"Thanks to everyone at the show for your dedication and an amazing year."
Meanwhile, Sherri confirmed the news in a statement to Deadline.com.
She said: "It's been seven wonderful years on 'The View' and after careful consideration it is time for me to move on.
"I am extremely grateful to Barbara Walters and Bill Gedde for giving me the opportunity.
"I look forward to the business opportunities that lay ahead for me and I am incredibly grateful to my View family and my fans for supporting me on this journey."

Ireland Baldwin in lesbian relationship

Ireland Baldwin is in a lesbian relationship.
Rapper Angel Haze has confirmed she is in a romantic relationship with the 18-year-old model - the daughter of Hollywood stars Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger - and is bemused by people describing them as 'best friends', insisting "friends don't f**k".
She candidly told The Independent newspaper: "I don't know if there's like some confirm or deny thing with the way relationships work in the media, but everyone just calls us best friends, best friends for life, like we're just friends hanging out. It's funny. It's rad in some ways, it sucks in others.
"If we were two guys, it'd be insane, negatively insane with the attention. With us it's all being very positive, the media are like, 'Oh, they're so cute, they're best friends.'
"An interracial gay couple ... I mean, that's just weird for America right now. We f**k and friends don't f**k. I have never f***ed one of my friends. Once I see you in that way, it doesn't happen.
"But we do f**k and it's crazy, and that's weird to say because I think about it in terms of an audience reading it and them thinking, 'What the hell?' But it happens."
The 'Dirty Gold' rapper met Ireland at New York Fashion Week earlier this year and both stars have been open about their relationship, often sharing affectionate pictures of them together on social media.
Angel, 22, credits her new girlfriend - who was previously in a straight relationship with Slater Trout - with helping her overcome her jaded attitude towards love.
She explained: "When you find it love it definitely amends your perspective on certain things. I was dating a guy I really liked about a year ago and being around him and realising so many things about myself totally made me hate the traditional ideas of what a relationship should be, of what romance should be.
"You go out and you're searching for this Utopian feeling, butterflies ... that thing where you can't stop thinking about them. It doesn't have to be so overwhelming."

Keith Richards has the blues inside him

Keith Richards has the blues "in his bones".
The Rolling Stones guitarist has a long-held love of the genre - which influences a lot of his music - and believes that is because he heard it so much when he was a child.
Asked how he discovered the blues, he said: "By osmosis!.
"See, my mother, she loved jazz, she loved Sarah Vaughan, Billy Eckstine, Duke Ellington. That was what was around the house.
"There's a lot of blues in jazz. And so, in a way, it was in the bones before I actually got to hear country blues and real blues.
"At the same age, I was starting to hear early rock and roll. It sounded perfectly normal to me... not some new kind of music. It was sort of natural."
The 'Paint It Black' hitmaker is a huge fan of Chuck Berry - and didn't even mind when his hero gave him a black eye.
He told Planet Rock: "We've had our ups and downs. He once gave me a black eye. It was backstage at a gig of his. He'd left his guitar out in his dressing room and I just picked it up. And he walks in, 'Nobody touches that.' Bam!! But he didn't know it was me.
" A few months later I get this apologetic, 'Keith I didn't know it was you.' I said, 'Chuck, you did the right move, I wouldn't let nobody touch mine either!' "

Nicole Scherzinger wants to release album now

Nicole Scherzinger wants to put her new album out now.
The former Pussycat Dolls singer isn't due to release the record until October but she is so excited by it, she wishes she could copy Beyonce, who released her self-titled fifth album - which featured 14 songs and 17 music videos - with no warning last December.
She said: "I want to do what Beyoncé did - make videos for all the songs and just put it out now. Catch everyone by surprise so they don't know what to do!"
Nicole famously helped put One Direction together when the quintet auditioned for the 'X Factor' as solo artists in 2010 and she finds it "weird" that she is now such a big fan of the band.
She said: "It's weird because now I'm the one queueing up in the stores to buy their merchandise.
"I'm like, 'Can I get a One Direction T-shirt?'"
However, the 35-year-old beauty has ruled out ever collaborating with the 'Little Things' hitmakers.
Asked about a future collaboration, she told the Daily Star newspaper: "Oh no, I don't think so - they're too big for me now!"

Kaiser Chiefs open Glastonbury with surprise set

Kaiser Chiefs surprised fans at Glastonbury Festival by opening the Other Stage today (27.06.14).
The 'Ruby' rockers took to the stage at 11am this morning to entertain the crowd with an exciting set, as front man Ricky Wilson pushed up against the barrier and got close to the punters.
'The Voice' judge encouraged the fans to "sing along", even if they weren't familiar with the tunes, launching into 'Every Day I Love You Less and Less' from the group's debut album 'Employment'.
He said: "Glastonbury, sing along if you know the words. If you don't, sing along anyway."
They even brought a change in weather as they took to the stage, with the rain stopped for the first time all morning.
He joked: "Look at what the weather's doing. Are we going to stick two fingers up at the sky?"
The group's weekend at the iconic Worthy Farm festival isn't done, though, as they'll be headlining the John Peel Stage later tonight.
Meanwhile, two fans have died at the annual event since the gates opened.
Earlier today, a 26-year-old man died from a suspected adverse reaction to illegal drug ketamine, while a 67-year-old woman died in her sleep from what police believe to be natural causes on Wednesday (25.06.14).

The 1975 stop surprise Glastonbury performance due to fight

The 1975 stopped their secret Glastonbury performance after a crowd member threw a can on stage.
The indie rock band halted their set as the music festival got under way on Thursday (26.06.14) when a fight broke out in the crowd.
According to NME.com, frontman Matthew Healy stopped singing mid-performance and said: "Ladies and gentleman I'm sorry to disrupt your peaceful Glastonbury but someone just threw a can on stage. I won't have people fighting at my Glastonbury."
The performance resumed after security quickly intervened and removed a male reveller from the audience.
The group - also consisting of Adam Hann, George Daniel and Ross MacDonald - proceeded to perform their hit song 'Chocolate' as well as other tracks from their 2013 debut album.
As The 1975 closed their hour-long set, Matt introduced another surprise act to the stage - electronica group Metronomy.
Referring to the festival's headliners, he quipped: "Ladies and gentlemen, we have to hurry it up as we have a very special guest up next. It's not Dolly Parton ... or Metallica..."
Metronomy performed a slew of their most popular songs including 'Holiday' and 'Radio Ladio'. They then dedicated 'The Look' to country music legend Dolly Parton to cheers from the crowd.
Dolly, 68, is one of this year's notable acts, while the headliners are Metallica, Kasabian and Arcade Fire.

Mary Berry for Who Do You Think You Are?

Mary Berry, Julie Walters and Billy Connolly will appear on 'Who Do You Think You Are?'
The hit BBC One family history show is celebrating its tenth anniversary and 100th episode this year by inviting the 'Great British Bake Off' star, the BAFTA-winning actress and the popular comedian to trace their ancestry.
The latest series will mark a decade on air for the hit show, which will be commemorated with a one-hour special highlighting the show's best moments and interviews with a host of past celebrity guests.
Other stars who will feature in the new series include actor Brian Blessed, 'Mrs Brown's Boys' star Brendan O'Carroll, actress Sheridan Smith, radio DJ Reggie Yates, 'EastEnders' actress Tamzin Outhwaite, model Twiggy and TV actor Martin Shaw.
BBC's commissioning editor for documentaries Maxine Watson said: "Since its launch in 2004, audiences have savoured the often unexpected and emotional journeys into family history. As we celebrate 10 fantastic years in 2014, another 10 famous faces discover more about themselves through their past.
"The new series promises to continue to deliver BBC One audiences the laughter, tears and surprising revelations of family ancestry as only Who Do You Think You Are? can."

Jeremy Paxman: Newsnight made by 13 year olds

Jeremy Paxman says 'Newsnight' is made by "13 year olds".
The 63-year-old broadcaster, who presented his final edition of the BBC Two current affairs programme last week, has admitted he didn't always agree with the politics of idealistic producers who thought they could "change the world".
He is quoted by the Daily Telegraph newspaper as saying: "Look, 'Newsnight' is made by 13 year olds. It's perfectly normal when you're young that you want to change the world.
"The older you get, the more you realise what a fools' errand much of that is and that the thing to do is to manage the best you can to the advantage of as many people as possible."
Paxman, who was required to remain politically impartial on 'Newsnight', also admitted to being a "one-nation Tory".
Furthermore, the TV presenter weighed in on London Mayor Boris Johnson's claim that he was the "last" Conservative left at the BBC.
Speaking at the Chalke Valley History Festival in Wiltshire, south west England, he reportedly said: "If I had to ... are there any members of the press here? I think I'll plead the fifth on that one."
Paxman announced his departure from 'Newsnight' after 25 years earlier this year.
He will continue to present 'University Challenge'.
